We rented this property over the Fourth of July and our experience was fantastic--fireworks over the golf course included for no extra charge! Our son, daughter-in-law and two little ones joined us. They loved it, especially the secret passage upstairs and the beds built in the hall of the second floor. If you're looking for a quiet, restful, well-appointed place to stay in Waynesville, this is it! We enjoyed the community activities surrounding the 4th too! The owner provided information about places to visit or to dine that was most helpful. We had lots of good places to choose from for dinner. The description was most accurate in giving information about the property and its location; the photos accurately reflected the property and its amenities. The kitchen served our needs well. And, the doggie door was a special treat for our little ones. A great family vacation home! The owner was easy to work with and provided quick and efficient information. I would recommend this to friends and family and would certainly return for another vacation!

More than I expected! Absolutely the best porch ever! Views of golf course & mountains. Owner is very helpful and accommodating. Plenty of room for any company you could possibly imagine...also great for when you're alone. Nice neighborhood & neighbors.

Since we are from Florida, we were really looking forward to spending the month of August 2010 in the cabin. The weather was much warmer than average, but still a lot nicer than in Florida. The cabin is great: all the amenities, such as kitchen equipment nice high-def TVs and a nice stereo system. But the real lure is the view, which is "to die for." Somewhere I heard that it was the second nicest view in North Carolina, and I'd like to see the one that beat it out! All in all, our stay was great. We had guests come in several times, and they all enjoyed themselves. And the Waynesville area is, to my wife and me, the nicest area in western North Carolina ... a lot less snooty than the Highlands-Cashiers area, for example. Also, the owner, Michael Lee, is a pleasure to deal with.
