Within a five minute walk: Grocery/beverage store, tour booking and departures, many restaurants, one of the best surf breaks in the area, hotel with casino and wooded areas for bird watching.
Within a 15 minute walk (one and a half km): the village of Tamarindo with it's numerous delightful casual and fine dining restaurants, shops for art, clothing, souvenirs, gifts etc. Also the departure point for deep sea fishing, snorkeling, diving, sunset sail cruises, kayak tours, ATV tours etc. Tamarindo also has emergency ambulance, medical and dental services and a pharmacy.

Bedrooms:
All bedrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs are air conditioned. All bedrooms have full bathrooms, each with it's own shower and bathtub.
UPSTAIRS FRONT BEDROOM... features a queen-size bed with super comfortable pillow-top mattress. Cedro wood sliding door connects you to a totally private terrace surrounded with lush gardens.
Desk and chair for a comfortable internet session or organize your pictures.
DOWNSTAIRS FRONT BEDROOM... ... features a queen-size bed a wonderful seating area/garden alcove, and a walkout through sliding glass doors to a large terrace overlooking the garden and pool... a great spot to enjoy relaxing that area offer, morning coffee or sunset drinks.
The Living Room:
The living room offers large Cedro wood sliding door with gardens and pool view on. Comfortable seating, cable TV/DVD, romantic but practical dining area with a modern table to seat six comfortably on upholstered chairs.
Kitchen:
A dream kitchen is fully equipped with cookware and dinnerware. It contains refrigerator/freezer, electric cook top, microwave, toaster, food processor, blender, ceramic counter tops, and an island.
From the garden: Relaxing on sun chairs in our garden or in the sofa in the patio you can observe the magnificent beauty of Costa Rica’s nature. Birds, howler monkeys, squirrels, gray iguanas, geckos, armadillos, skunks and raccoons are some of the animals that can be seen almost daily throughout the house garden.
We own in town a spa, a boutique and a concierge company, so our guest can have since regular discount till spa packages included in the deal or up to 20% disc. in any kind of tours, car rentals, national park guided excursion, etc... we can really take care of you since you arrive at the airport with fly arrangments, car rentals, till the day you will say: ¨I will definetely came back soon¨...!!!!

My husband and I spent a week in this home with our two young daughters and found it to be one of the best homes we've ever rented on a vacation (we've rented many homes in the US, France and Italy). We wished we could have stayed longer and would love to go back for a month. We rented a higher-end house in Tamarindo the first week of our trip but it was not nearly as comfortable in terms of seating/lounging. The outdoor area of this home was the best part of the house with comfortable, clean lounge chair cushions and a perfect pool. Inside had everything we needed and it was super clean (no bugs, which I was worried about in Costa Rica). We had a housekeeper twice during the week and a night guard came every night (he also cleaned the pool each night). The neighborhood felt very safe and was a quick walk to the beach or easy drive to other towns. We saw a lemur a few times in the trees on the property, twice saws monkeys in the trees, and saw many unusual birds. One evening and one morning we heard howler monkeys which was a fun experience. The entire process of renting the home was easy...the manager, Alonso, was very responsive and helped arrange surfing lessons, a boat ride on the estuary, and a spa treatment at the owners' spa in town. The massage at Coco Spa was great. We did have to pay $40 extra for running the air conditioner overtime (there is a daily electrical allowance & you pay per kw if you go over.) Despite the fee we still thought the house was incredibly reasonable.

Stay here. If you don't you'll regret it. Walking distance to the beach. 5 foot deep pool in the back yard. Very nice lawn, in front and back, so plenty of room to lay out, do yoga or whatever. Alarm to turn on during day, security guard at night. Air conditioners that will cool every room, washer and dryer conveniently located in the kitchen. Great minimalist design. 2 Bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Bedrooms are small, but big enough for sleeping 2. Bathrooms are shower, toilet, bidet, bathtub, two full sinks. Very clean marble floors throughout the home. Good design. The price on this is very competitive. I've rented 5BR homes in Tahoe, California, but the services that are offered make me rate this place as excellent, especially within this price range. He will take complete care of you and use people who work for him to do the same. You will have minor bugs to deal with, but that's the way it is in Costa Rica. We rented a car. It took us 5 minutes to walk to the beach from the house. It took us 3 minutes to drive into town. It would probably take you 10 minutes to walk into the small town. Do not stay in a hotel. Stay here, you won't regret it.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this house. We had two families each with a baby and the layout of the house was nice to have one bedroom up and one down. The house comes with a crib and Andrea the owner bought a pack n play for us since we were traveling with two babies. We thought that was very nice. The pool was an added bonus to enjoy while the kids were sleeping and the kids loved playing in it. It's not too far of a walk to the beach but a little longer to get to the main part of town. We had a car and that was very helpful especially since it was hot and it's a gravel road. Be careful using the a/c. They give you a daily allowance and if you use more wattage you have to pay extra. We ran it during our kids naps which was about 4 hrs a day plus all night and we had to pay $96 extra. It wasn't a big deal b/c the house is reasonably priced. Andrea and Alonso the manager were very friendly and easy to work with

It is a great location with beautiful surroundings. It is nicely furnished, with everything you need. We felt very safe. It was easy access to Tamarindo night life and great beach to walk along. We would definitely rent here again. The rental manager was amazing, very helpful, and a joy to deal with. We will be back to Langosta soon!
