Superb luxury studio, 15 m², with a stunning view of the Paris rooftops and Opera House.
The apartment is in a serviced building overlooking the National Library ( really worth a visit ) that used to be a hotel, with renovated public areas and a grand entrance hall. The apartment is exceptionally quiet and has been totally renovated.
The quality double sofa bed is very comfortable and a practical use of the space.
The kitchenette is fully equipped and includes a washing machine, microwave and two burner stove top.
The location is very central within close proximity to the very beautiful Palais Royal and gardens from the era of Cardinal Richelieu as well as being 5 minutes from the Louvre Museum.
Short walk to the Place du Marche St Honore with a twice weekly farmers market on Wednesday and Saturday as well as dozens of restaurants around the square for many different culinary tastes.

If you're looking for the Courtyard by Marriott, this is NOT it. Tiny by American standards, this studio was everything I needed for a week long stay in the city and nothing I did not. I was by myself and I imagine a couple with anything more than a carry-on bag would be too cramped. The building was quiet and elegant with a charming window view of the courtyard below. Very well laid out, everything was functional and in the end I was amazed how you could fit a refrigerator, closet, washing machine and full shower in such a small space. I had a minor issue with not being able to turn off the heat, but I stayed during the month of March, so cracking the window made for a perfect thermostat. No air conditioning that I could tell, so it could get warm in the summer I suppose. If you need any consolation, the Louvre is less than a kilometer away and you can laugh as you walk by the tourists staying at the Hotel du Louvre paying more per night as you are for the whole week. This studio was administered by an agency in Paris called Paris Visit. They were extremely helpful during the entire process. Very prompt in all email correspondence, I called them as soon as I arrived at CDG airport and met a representative, Heron, in the lobby of the building. He was very articulate and willing to offer insightful help with whatever I needed regarding the studio or the surrounding area. Walk in any direction from the building and you'll find too many cafes and boulangeries to mention. The tourism office across from L'Opera and also next to a Monoprix, proved to be a good source of local information. I didn't find many tourists until I got in the immediate vicinity of the Louvre or some of the other bigger monuments, many of which were within walking distance. For an even more authentic experience, head north a mile or so to rue Montorgueil, a centuries old open air market lined with patisseries and cafes. Couldn't ask for a better location for a 3 hour, bottle-of Bordeaux lunch. Very convenient to the Louvre, L'Opera and Gare de Lyon and ridiculously affordable, I would stay here again without question.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.
