This apartment in Paris is wonderfully situated in rue Washington, between the Champs-Elysées and rue du Faubourg saint Honoré in the 8th district in a "Haussmann" style building. The courtyard of the building boasts the façade of an 18th century "Hotel Particulier" (city palace), which used to have gardens all the way to the Champs-Elysées.
It is an elevated ground floor apartment of 110 square meters (360 square feet) with 2 en suite bedrooms situated between a courtyard and private garden. All the bedrooms give onto the private garden of 50 square meters (165 square feet) and are very quiet, you would never guess you are in the heart of the bustling city of Paris.
Entering the apartment you will find yourself in a wide grand entrance hall with mirrored doors giving onto the large drawing room and into the glass ceilinged kitchen. The salon gives onto the private walled garden with 2 large French doors. The 2 spacious bedrooms are situated on each side of the elegant salon, each with large French doors to the garden, so very private. Both have private bathrooms with bath/shower and WC's.
In between the kitchen and one of the bedrooms is a study with a writing desk, a large sofa bed and a television with cable access.
The apartment is fully renovated and all the plumbing and electricity and central heating are brand new.
The decor is modern and traditional classic combined with some great and very valuable antique pieces as focal points, the style is Parisian Haussmann grandeur. There are beautiful parquet floors throughout the apartment.
The Dove Grey bedroom has typical Parisian molding and a large double bed, between an American queen and king size-wise and a large built-in wardrobe and en suite bathroom with classical columned white porcelain washbasin and beautiful nickel plated bathroom fittings and heated towel rack. The tiling is white with small black cabochons. The bathtub has a shower that can be placed on the wall for standing up.
The Soft Yellow bedroom has a large double bed that can also be separated into 2 single beds. There are built-in cupboards. The en suite bathroom has a classical white washbasin on a column and all white tiling, antique prints and beautiful nickel plated bathroom fittings and heated towel rack. The bathtub has a shower that can be placed on the wall for standing up.

I fell in love with this apartment immediately and bought it as a ruin. Lovingly restored and elegantly decorated it is a haven of peace a step away from the Champs-Elysees. I am a decorator and now live in our family property in Normandy and want to offer this exceptional apartment to the discerning visitor. All the important sights and shopping experiences are within walking distance or a short metro, taxi, and now even bike ride away.

Both bedrooms and the large elegant drawing room give onto the garden with large French doors. Just step outside into the street and you can turn left onto the Champs-Elysées and avenue Montaigne or right to the Faubourg Saint Honoré; you find yourself in the most elegant shopping district of Paris.
