This cottage was built in the 1940's and has been recently renovated.
During the renovation, an effort was made to save the original flooring, most of the doors and glass knobs, the original claw foot tub and the stairs leading to the second floor.
In the kitchen you can still see the original log siding that was the exterior of the house in the 40's.
The Master Bedroom is on the main level and features a King Size Bed. Both Guest Bedrooms are located on the second story and have Queen Size Beds.
The front porch is covered and has 4 oversized Rocking Chairs for you to enjoy the Mountain Air.
The home has tons of charm and character as well as being nicely appointed.
We think you will appreciate the convenience of the location. You can walk to the Town Park or Lees-McRae, Wolly Worm Festival or Christmas Tree Lighting and of course you could always walk off that great dinner you had at one of the many great restaurants.

Our girls love the Town Park. Being able to walk there was amazing! Can't wait to come back next summer for the concerts! So glad we found you and your ultra clean cottage. Everything was spic and span! We will be back soon, as we have found our new favorite place to stay in BE.
