Our unit at The Terrace has a large heated swimming pool just below our balcony. This is great for watching your kids while they are in the pool. Our balcony is a spacious 173 sq. ft. floored in Spanish porcelin tile and is accessible thru two sliding doors, from the living room or the master bedroom. There are adequate chairs, lounges and tables. Gas grills for outdoor cooking are located below, next to the pool and very convenient to our condo. Just lay back, relax, soak up some Florida sunshine and wait for the beautiful sunset to appear in the west!
The entrance to our condo is just a few steps from the two elevators and features a keypad lock which is handy for everyone in the family without passing keys around.
Inside our condo you will be at our "home away from home" We love to come down for a week or so whenever we can, so we keep our condo clean, orderly and more like a home than a rental unit. The entire condo is professionally decorated. The living room has a colorful sofa, a recliner, a leather chair, and another side chair. The floor is Spanish porcelin tile. The TV is a 36" widescreen HDTV with remote. We also have a DVD player and stereo CD player in this room
An oil painting of a Destin Harbor scene hangs on the wall above a stone library table in the dining room area. The dining table is large and will accommodate 6 to 8 people comfortably.
The master bedroom has a king size bed with a great mattress. The room is carpeted and has a door to the balcony and lots of glass to view the lake and ocean. The vanity adjoins this bedroom, as does a double beveled mirrored closet. There is a 28" widescreen TV with DVD player.
In the hallway to the 2nd bathroom is an enclosed washer & dryer unit for your convenience.
The guest bedroom is just off the hall and is furnished with twin beds, a 28" widescreen TV with DVD & VCR player. There is a window and a large closet in this room. The floor is carpeted. The bathroom is just out the door.
We have high speed internet access for your use. There are four telephones in the condo. The entire condo is sprinklered for fire protection and there is also a fire alarm and announcement speaker for emergencies. The fire exit stairs are just steps away to the left. There are two high speed elevators in the hallway outside. The trash chute is steps away from our front door.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything...stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, toaster, convection oven, can opener, bread box, coffee maker (we furnish the filters). The dining room side has a serving bar with two high back chairs.
The lake has a boardwalk across the water with a gazebo in the middle. Two large water fountains make a "splashing" sound you can hear from our balcony. They are lighted at night and are a beautiful site from our balcony! If you like walking or jogging, this is the place for you! You can cross the lake right in the middle and walk all around multi-million dollar houses!
AND LET'S DON'T FORGET THE BEACH! JUST A SHORT STROLL FROM THE TERRACE, along a beautifully landscaped path you will find the BOARDWALK over the sand TO THE BEACH! See the life guard for your rental chairs and umbrella and enjoy the peaceful, relaxing SOUND OF THE WAVES coming on shore! In the summer season, The Terrace offers a BEACH TRAM to take you to the beach.
At the Pelican part of the complex, there is another swimming pool (who needs it?) and a deck with lots of lounge chairs off the sand. Wave your hand and a server will bring your favorite beverage from the Tiki Bar! Inside, Chan's Market will make you a sandwich or you can get lots of convenience store things.

We have been vacationing in Destin since the 1970's and believe it to be the ULTIMATE VACATION DESTINATION! We have been to many other beach locations, but love Destin the most! When the opportunity came, we invested in our first Destin condo in 1982. The Terrace at Pelican Beach is centrally located and has everything we want for a beach vacation. You too will love the Terrace, a very popular resort, usually full in the summer season.

Our condo, Unit 303 at The Terrace at Pelican Beach offers 1. A perfect location in mid-Destin. 2. We have professionally decorated our condo to be a second home and take pride in keeping it up-to-date and modern in all respects. 3. We have the beach a short stroll away and all of the amenities of Pelican Beach, such as the Tiki Bar, Chans Market, swimming pools, etc. 4. The view from our 173 SF balcony is unbelievable! The pool is below, the lake is in front and the multi-million dollar single family houses are right below us. Small views of the ocean let you know you are not too far from the beach. 5. The Terrace is quiet and the Pelican is bustling with activity. 6. Excellent restaurants and shopping is within a few blocks. 7. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and there is more than adequate parking. There is security at the entrance and the property is entirely fenced.

I bought my condo at The Terrace at Pelican Beach during pre-construction, and have owned it since then. My wife and I are both very familiar with condo rentals. We stay at The Terrac two or three times a year and check the condo very thoroughly for needed repairs and upgrades. We constantly add new things to it. During our last trip, we had tile flooring added to the balcony. We have traveled extensively and know what you want when you are on vacation. You will love our condo and the location is the best in Destin!

We enjoyed this condo for the week of August 8th. We have stayed at Pelican Beach Resort twice before. This was our first time staying at The Terrace. Our stay was wonderful! The beds were comfortable, all the rooms were clean and the kitchen was very well furnished. The walk to the beach was short and safe! The view is great! It's in a great location to walk to tourist shops, a couple restaurants and a fresh seafood market if you want to cook yourself. We would love to stay in this condo again! It met all our needs while we were away from home.

Wonderful condo in great location. Walking distance to beach, 2 souvenir shops, Mellow Mushroom, and a breakfast cafe. Very safe, my 17 year old walked alone. Loved sitting out on balcony right over pool. Condo's kitchen was the best furnished of any vacation place I've ever been. Nice, plush towels-no threadbare worn linens here. Very clean. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. We really enjoyed our stay.

I leased this condo for spring break 2011 and it was everything as described. The unit was in wonderful condition, had easy access to the beach and located in a fantastic area. Our whole experience with the unit, Mr. Hargraves, and the area was nothing but great. I would recommend this unit and the area for families. I would love to return and if possible rent this unit. My family and I stayed in this unit for a week this March. The condo and facility were VERY clean and safe. My teenage sons loved the beach and I loved the heated pool! My husband cooked on their grill almost every night and we were close to everything. I hope to go back next year. Thanks Richard and Joann for a lovely vacation. Highly Recommend!

This was my first visit to Destin and we could not have made a better choice then this condo. Besides being in the best location for everything weather it be fast food or fine dining, the beach was just a few steps out the front door to the right. When you get tried of the sun, walk over to redbox, get a movie and watch it in any room, just don't lay on the beds or you will never finish watching it. The beds are so reIaxing its hard not to sleep. I can honestly say it was just like being in your own home. The owners have really gone out of their way to furnish this condo to make everything as enjoyable as possible. To the owners it was so nice of you to let my family enjoy your second home. I really hope to return soon.

We enjoyed the condo very much. It was furnished well, the beds were comfortable, and even the pull out sofa was comfortable. The balcony was much larger than our friend's unit in the other tower. An easy walk to the beach and grilling was made easy with the gas grills near the pool. The keyless entry made coming an going simple without any key exchange. All the kitchen smallwares that were needed were to be found in the well stocked kitchen. I would definately return.

This past Christmas, New Year Holiday was my 1st visit to Destin, Fl. My unit was a "HOME AWAY FROM HOME". It was tastefully decorated, and warmth was all around. It was homey...My 96 year old mother and myself were so very much pleased. Everything you need is supplied for your visit. Kitchen was fully stocked, bedrooms were large and plenty of towels. I can't say enough about the unit or the owners. I had to contact Mrs. Hargraves regarding a personal matter, she even suggested a resturants for me to try that were close in the area. They are a terrific couple, and will assist you anyway they can. I happened to leave my cell-phone charger in the unit. After this discovery I contacted Mr. Hargraves and he researched it for me...not only was it found in the unit..but he mailed it to my home, without any delay or compensation from me. Please visit this unit on your trip to Destin you will not be disappointed. I'm planning to go back this summer and have told many of my friends about my stay. My hearty thanks to Mr and Mrs Hargraves.
