  This place is amazing and the pictures do not lie. We had an amazing time. The condo was GREAT and the bed is so comfortable. I LOVE to cook and we were able to go to the grocery store which is a short walk. The condo had everything we needed to cook. The owners have really paid close attention to detail to create the perfect little paradise.We had breakfast every mornting on our terrace. We also went to Anacaona at the Grace Bay club for desert. Hemmingways, and Parallel 23 for a VERY romantic Birthday dinner. The Cactus Bar and Grill is a must for local cuisine, and short a short walk from the Renaissance. I really have nothing bad to say. The weather was perfect, and the beaches are beautiful. The pool water is very comfortable so we went swimming at night. The front desk staff was very helpful. Georgeous..and yes that is her name..... is fantastic. We were beach slugs the whole trip but there are plenty of excursions. We cant wait to go back.

  We just returned from a week stay at Villa Renaissance and had a wonderful time! The unit is exactly as described and we couldn't have been happier. The owner also includes extras like a cart to use if you walk to the grocery store, and a small ice chest (holds 3-4 bottles or cans) that we used daily at the beach. The staff at Villa Renaissance is very friendly and interested in making you comfortable. There is no restaurant on the property, but there is a bar by the pool serving drinks and there is drink service at the beach. You can order food at the bar that comes from the Vix restaurant next door. This was our 4th trip to Provo and we will defenitely be back. We always rent a car mainly to venture out in the evening for dinner. The manager Mel was also wonderful and returned calls immediately!

  Perfect place to stay for your vacation! The unit was amazing, well kept, beautiful kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The staff was very helpful, we were given a cellphone to use while at the island, and given a number to call if we had any questions. The villa is located in a perfect location, it is right on the beach. The beach is beautiful, quiet calm waters with perfect sparkling white sand. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance, and a grocery store within walking distance, this important as cabs get pricy on the island. I only wish I had stayed longer, it is a much better place to stay than at a hotel, I highly recommend it!

  This was my first time using VRBO and for my wife and I, our first time in TCI. The owners/mgt company made the experience very simple and our vacation very relaxing. We did not rent a car and did not feel like we needed one. This property is in a very convenient location, we walked to dinner every night and felt very safe. Most of the well reviewed restaurants in Grace Bay is 10-15 mins walking distance away. The unit itself is poolside, your room is literally 5 steps away from the beautiful pool. Also since this is a small resort, the world class beach is less than a 2 min walk away. I can confirm the pictures posted with the ad is exactly the room you will get. The free gallon of water was helpful. Although the tap water in TCI is safe to drink, we did not like the taste. The other amenities that we liked are: free in-room WiFi, a 46 inch Sony LCD TV, full size kitchen, and the tiled bathroom w/dual sinks. The cleaning staff was great too. We dined out most of the time but ate breakfast in the suite. When we returned in the afternoon, our glasses and plates would be cleaned/replaced. I would not hesitate to recommend this unit and owner to my friends and family. We would love to return in the future.

  Going to a new place you never quite know exactly what you are going to get. With our stay at Villa Renaissance, our trip to Provo was everything we had hoped for. We had a poolside room on the ground floor equipped with a full kitchen. It had more than what we needed for the week, with a grocery cart, a cooler for the beach, and an umbrella during those afternoon thunderstorms. The only downside was that we were not beachfront, but we spent so much time on the beach we hardly noticed. The staff was friendly, and the pool was amazing. We loved every minute of our time by the sea, and sitting out under the umbrellas and swimming in the amazing turquoise waters. We were there during the slow season, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. Some of the units are owner-occupied, and we felt that even the owners were very friendly and accepting of the guests in the other units. Most importantly, we loved that Villa Renaissance was truly a central point in Grace Bay. It is directly across from Salt Mills, which gives you access to many of the excursions, has plenty of access to restaurants in walking distance, and is just a short cab ride away from Turtle Cove, the airport, and the ferry to North & Middle Caicos. You can also easily access the grocery store, which has absolutely everything you need or would want to eat during the week. We highly recommend Big Blue for their SUP trips, and going over to Middle Caicos to see Bambarra Beach and Mudjin Harbor. These beaches and sites are truly “picturesque” as the locals say. You can take the ferry and rent a car for a day to get to the other islands. We considered doing a group tour, but doing it solo worked out well for us. It was safe, fun, and a full day adventure. We highly recommend eating at Mango Reef, Bay Bistro & Lemon.

  My life partner and I stayed at Villa Renaissance, Unit 601 during the week of July 17. Staying at Villa Renaissance and Turks & Caicos was unlike any other Caribbean vacation that I have ever had and I have been to a lot of islands. This was first class all the way – this Villa was voted one of the top in the world in 2009. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I want to thank the owner (who was so proactive in communications), Nicola and Mel (rental staff), Edmonde (spa practitioner) and Calvin (taxi driver) for outstanding service. The Villa was a dream. I had seen pictures but they do not do any justice. The pool and surroundings look like they come from an Italian/European picture. I love how our unit was on the ground floor with an abundance of garden/greenery. We had all the luxuries and comforts of home – stainless steel appliances, stocked cabinets, stereo, books, movies and a beautiful/romantic four poster bed. This part of Grace Bay was like being on a private beach – it was quiet, peaceful and exceeded our expectations on total relaxation! We celebrated my birthday at Bella Luna Ristorante, an Italian Restaurant across the street from the resort. The staff, food, wine and ambiance was first rate. We look forward to going back to Turks and Caicos and staying in Unit 601!
