Wow, what a view and from a condo with everything you need. All the reviews on this unit are absolutely bang on. As for the rentals appearance it is better than the photos. Andy thank you and your family for helping to make our stay the best in such a historical area. Your knowledge was of great assistance, we still tell people about Hobcaw Plantation. We are looking forward to next October for more sun, ocean and history. Thanks again for the use of your condo.

Wonderful Memory Making Experience (In spite of construction)

My 84 year old mom and I created some wonderful lifelong memories in this beautiful condo. The complex was making some balcony repairs and painting, but other than a couple of days when the scaffolds were on our floor, they were no bother to us. The pool was closed but the beautiful Atlantic was very much ''open'' The complex were kind enough to place lounge chairs for the guests onto the beach since the pool deck was closed for construction. Even with the inconvenience of the construction, the Staff at Waters Edge were helpful and considerate. But over all, the stay inside the condo was absolutely perfect. The unit was very clean and well stocked, the view magnificent, Everything we needed was at out fingertips. Andy was always sweet and considerate, and so concerned and apologetic about the construction. Thankfully the construction will soon be over and I will be excited to return to Andy's place another time. We had the most beautiful weather this last week of September, and I will carry these memories of time with my mom in my heart forever.

We've stayed in this building before so knew basically what to expect. But Andy outdid our expectations. Besides enjoying comfortable furnishings in a clean, well-maintained apartment, we were surprised with the little things that hotels now provide but we've not found in condo rentals: tissues, hair dryer, soft hand soap. And getting to know Andy a bit when he "checked us in" was an added bonus. We will be back!

My wife and I recently rented this property. We have been vacationing in the area for over 20 years renting numerous condos in the Surfside and Garden City area. This condo was by far one of the best we ever stayed at. It was equipped extremely well and very clean. The flat screen TV was also very nice. The owner was very good to work with. He furnished his cell phone # in the event we needed anything. He even telephonically contacted us as the unit making sure everything met our needs. We never have had such contact from prevoius owners. I would highly recommend renting this condo.

The view on the pictures does not do it justice. Full ocean view, no side views or anything like that. The view of the causeway on the other side of the condo from the 15th floor was also beautiful. This was the nicest condo rental we ever had. excellent, free internet, all appliances we needed, Nice pools, hot tub, bar, even a nice little store for ice cream! Close to everything, MUCH nicer than anything in Myrtle Beach. Garden city was just the best beach for us, My wife and 3 year old daughter had the best time, we rode out the edges of Irene, had wonderful meals in Murrels Inlet and just enjoyed ourselves. The washer/dryer was really nice to have in the unit. The balcony was everything we could have wanted and the full, HUGE glass slider doors (wall) was just wonderful. The owner Andy was pleasant, helpful, open and very easy to deal with. we would definitely rent from him again. This is the best unit in the building. No noise from upstairs (we were on the top floor) and a stunning view. No disappointments here.

Still miss being there!

This vacation was one that we just didn't want to end. The family type atmosphere of the Garden City Beach was really nice. The condo was great and I still miss the view and sound of the ocean. The condo was very private and not much noise around. The balcony was such that you had some privacy for that cup of morning coffee. Dolphins could be seen sometimes and at the pier too. The pool deck and pools were kept clean. The staff was always kind and courteous. We want to come back in the future. Thanks to Andy and his wife for making this a home away from home for their visitors, everything was stocked and clean. A+ : )

We had a Blast!

Our little family, my wife, our 9 year old son, and myself, had one of the most enjoyable times at the beach in "Steffano's Place". We found the accomodations to be comfortable and well provided. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen has everything, the balcony is everything that is advertised. Andy and his family have a pretty neat little second home, and I mean that this IS their home. The artwork is actually copies of Andrea's Mom's original art. The Kid's club in the resort happened to be a favorite of our son. The drive from Pittsburgh, PA was easy, but the drive back was difficult. We will be back. It is conveinent to everything, yet away from the madness of MB. The Beach was really nice as well.

My husband and I spent a week at the condo in late September and found it to be extremely clean and well stocked. The appliances were new, the bed comfortable and the view just great. It was nice to be on an upper level so that you could hear the ocean but not the people on the beach or at the pool. Garden City was so much more quite and layed back than Myrtle Beach but still convenient to Broadway at the Beach, Tanger Malls, Brookgreen Gardens, golf courses and great restaurants. There is a new Italian restaurant in Murrells Inlet a block south of Old World Italian Restaurant (starts with an F) that had the best chicken parmesan that I have ever had. For the older crowd, Good Vibrations and the SC Opery is a lot of fun. Andy couldn't have been nicer and it was comforting to have someone to contact if there were any problems (there weren't) and he was also helpful in recommending some attractions for us to take in. We liked dealing with an individual rather than a faceless rental company that may not be considerate of renter's needs or issues with the property. For our fellow Pittsburghers, yes, there are a couple Steeler's bars in the area - just get there early!! We would definitely like to rent this condo again and would recommend it. Thanks to Andy for making our trip so wonderful and hassle free.

It was a great condo and was exactly as described in the listing.It was very clean and comfortable. The view from the deck was amazing. Andy was very helpful and most accommodating. The kitchen was well equipped and we ate breakfast and lunch there every day.The washer and dryer were great to have, especially if you had kids.(we didn't). We spent most of the time at the beach but we ate supper at local restaurants and traveled to Broadway on the Beach and to the outlets.We hope to be back soon!

My wife & I spent a week in Andy's condo the last of March. We walked into a beautiful home away from home ! Spotless, organized, well stocked, & beautifully decorated. All appliances worked perfectly. The view is spectacular any time of the day including sunrise, when it is cloudy...even the sun setting over the top of the condo shadowed reds & oranges on the ocean. The advantage of being on the 15th floor is the sound of the ocean. No voices or noises from below...just the waves rushing in. Walking...if you like to walk there are miles & miles of beach, beautiful sand for walking. I could go on....we love Garden City & Myrtle Beach, this was our first visit. When we go back we will rent this condo, because we would rate it a 6/5 !!

Stayed first week of May 2010. The condo was much bigger than we thought it would be any very clean. It had everything that we needed for cooking supplied for us, and having the washer/dryer was so convenient. We had a great time , weather was great and the pool/ hot tub/ beach were right outside our door. Thanks for a great vacation at a great price!

We stayed here in November 09 and found the condo clean, comfortable and safe and Andy (owner)was very personable and helpful. We now see why Andy and his wife chose this area and this condo. Staff at Watersedge were also very helpful and informative regarding shows and casino cruise. The large indoor pool and outdoor hot tub were a real treat and the beach was so handy. If you want all the comforts of home and more, this is a great place.

Well, this was our first visit to South Carlina. We found the property over the internet. The condo was beautiful. It was very roomy for the two of us and CLEAN! The 15th floor view was exquisite. Our visit was in April, and the weather was cold and windy for the good part of the week. The balcony was great. A daily visit to Murrells Inlet was fantastic. Wonderful vacation. Clean condo with a fantastic view! Resort right on the water. Perfect location on the beach for families. Close to numerous restaurants....and only 10-15 minutes from the center of Myrtle Beach. Would stay again without hesitation.

Just wanted to drop you a note to tell you that we really enjoyed our two months in your condo at Water's Edge. The view was absolutely breath taking. The beach provided endless hours of entertainment. We saw golf carts, pets, horses, love letters in the sand, a wedding, and of course the birds and dolphins. Who could forget the wonderful dynamic ocean? We loved the sunshine and water! Thanks for a great two months.

Dear Andy, Just a note to say thanks for everything. We had a great time in MB and really enjoyed the condo. Looking out over the balcony to the ocean felt like being on a cruise ship, except we could actually go down into the water whenever we wanted. We particularly enjoyed: the fact that no one was above us making noise, the cleanliness of the condo, the multitude of towels, washer/dryer right there, and the two bathrooms - so much easier to get ready to go out! Meeting and talking to you was another highlight. It was nice to meet a fellow "former New Jerseyan." We also really liked the paintings by your mother-in-law. It was no nice of you to want to get together with us. It's just a shame that we were so busy with our real estate hunting. We have decided that we want to move to your area, so we're hoping that during our next trip down we can get together with you and your wife. I'm sure that we could all be friends.
