The resort is one mile south of Playa del Carmen in Playacar. There are about 40 units in the resort, entertainment director provides fun all day. Great pool, spa and beach. Onsite restaurant/bar is excellent. The property is three stories, all units overlook pool/ocean.
The concierge provides all tours/activities in the Cancun/Playa del Carmen area. Golfing/tennis are within 1/4 mile in Playacar, a gated community.

My wife and I live in Orange County California. We have enjoyed the Sunset Fishermen Resort Hotel with our four children four times since we purchased our two weeks. We have a platinum membership which allows us to select Holiday weeks throughout the year. We currently have Thanksgiving week to rent, begins 11/21/09, Saturday before Thanksgiving. 7 days, make an offer.
Why the Owner Chose Playacar, Royal Sunset Fishermen's Resort
The Resort is in Playacar which is a private gated community just one mile south of Playa del Carmen and the Ferry to Cozamel. The town is lots of fun as is the ferry to Cozamel. The ocean is the most beautiful water that I had ever seen. My family loves to snorkel/dive, this is the clearest water in the world!!
The Unique Benefits of this Condo/Resort
We ferry to Cozamel to snorkel/dive and play on the Island, an easy day trip. We also drive south to many fabulous diving spots in Akumal and Tulum where you may tour the Ruins. The Cenotes are underground caves that you may dive in, very cool! There are bullfights to watch, horse shows and many very nice restaurants in Playa del Carmen.
