A large living room with vaulted marble ceiling and low voltage lighting invite you to relax. Separate dining room with panoramic vistas make your repasts a pleasure. The master suite and bath have their own spectacular views and the bath is carved from stone. All the bedrooms are elegantly, yet comfortably appointed. Your tootsies will be warmed by the hydronically heated cobblestone floors.
A media room containing a 10'-installed screen and front projector system is enhanced by Blu Ray and an 8-speaker sound system. Kids will love the Play Station 2, and there are movies for all ages.
If hiking and biking are your sports, there are trails and roads winding up and down the mountain. A 5-minute jaunt by car will take you to the foot of Garland Park, where you can roam for miles. Golfing is available at Carmel Valley Ranch, 15 minutes away. An easy and scenic 20- minute drive puts you in Carmel. It's 25 minutes to Pebble Beach, Pacific Grove and Monterey. Big Sur is a southward 45-minute trip from Carmel.
In the meantime, you have your own blissful tour of Carmel Valley Village with its acclaimed restaurants, wine-tasting rooms, boutiques and shops to entertain you.
Special events abound all year round. The Monterey Bay Aquarium is a must-see. There are festivals: Bach, Jazz, Blues. There are autos: the Concours de Elegance, Hot Summer Nights, Racing at Laguna Seca. And the ubiquitous golf: the annual AT&T and the US Open in 2010. If you surf, there are local beaches and the Sea Otter Classic.

Year Purchased: 2007
We have created a masterpiece from scratch, set into the mountainside in Carmel Valley and a part of the landscape. It has many amenities and every comfort, created by a master builder and a renowned interior designer. They are us, and it is our finest triumph. We love this Valley and have been its residents for the past 20 years, living down by the beautiful river. We look forward to receiving guests in this lovely new mountain home.
