Sitting in Georgia's Beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, there is a Peaceful River front home that awaits your arrival.
Looking for a long weekend or a week of just being in the Mountains? This home offers it all. Sitting just 50 feet from the back door is the Wonderful Cartacay River, where you can catch the shuttle at your front door and paddle into your back door.
That's right, we are at the take out for River Rite Rafters who will seasonally run a shuttle that comes to your door step and sets you up to float right back to this wonderful river side home. If you don't have a Kayak for a small fee they have Kayaks, creek boats, rafts and tubes.
Not into the River except for the beauty of it, well there are plenty more things to do. Historic Ellijay and all its wonderful little shoppes that have all your mountain relics is only about 5 minutes away. You hungry for some Apple-anything?
Well you can find it here in Ellijay. Ellijay has the Apple Festival in the Fall that is just AWESOME. Also in the Fall are the changing of the leaves, a sight that can be breath taking.
Motorcycle fans this is a great location to start and end your trip. Located in an area of the mountains you can ride for days and never ride the same road twice. The Dragons Tail!!! yes the famous hwy 124 is a great day ride, Hey 60 to Blairsville another great ride.

Rules you should know
•NOTICE TO GUESTS: This property is privately owned. Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for accidents or injury, loss of money, jewelry, or valuables of any kind. Guests agree to be responsible for any and all losses and/or damages to this rental property.
•KEYS & WRISTBANDS The keys and/or wristbands that you may be issued must be returned as you will be instructed to do. There is a $125.00 lost key charge for any unreturned key and $25.00 for each non-returned wristband .
•CANCELLATIONS: All reservations cancelled are subject to loss of deposit. Entire rent due will be forfeited if unit is not re-rented for lease term.
•RENTAL DEPOSIT: A 50% deposit is required on all reservations, a reservation made within 30 days of arrival date will require payment in full. All payments must be made by credit card and is due at time of making reservations.
•SECURITY DEPOSIT: Your credit card will be billed for any damages, missing items, long distance calls and any other unauthorized charges to the unit.
•TELEPHONE: All rentals have telephones. The number will be furnished at reservation time. Please bring your telephone credit card. If it is necessary to bill the renter for long distance calls, the renter will be charged the cost of calls plus a $25.00 service charge. All telephone numbers are registered with 911.
•ITEMS LEFT IN PROPERTY:Tara Properties will not be responsible for personal items left in rental property. A $25.00 service charge and mailing costs are required if you request Tara Properties to mail items left behind. Credit card payment is required in advance.
•PRICES: The prices set on rentals reflect many things including: location, amenities, size, number of guests as well as general condition of the resort unit and furnishings.
