Located on the North Shore of Oahu, this is a one of a kind Hawaiian experience. Located directly above where they filmed episodes of the hit TV show 'Lost'.
Perched on 60 private acres and surrounded by thousands of acres of private ranch lands with no neighbors for miles. One of a kind ocean views from Kaena Point to Sunset Beach. The house is located approx 1000 yards directly above one of Hawaii's best kept secret beaches, with miles of sand.
Notable visitors to the surrounding Dillingham Ranch house below, have included Noel Coward, who authored “A Room with a View” while sitting on the lanai of the Dillingham lodge, Prince Hussein of Jordan, the Marquis of Waterford, Eva Gabor, and Ginger Baker.
Additionally, Prince Charles, Major Ronald Ferguson, General George S. Patton, and various international polo stars, among others, have competed on the polo field below. The polo grounds are considered the birthplace of Hawaiian polo, which was especially popular in the late 1800's.
The ranch has a variety of excellent restaurants nearby and is great for all water sports including snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, windsurfing, and kayaking.
Other favorite activities include private horse back rides on the ranch or beach from the ranch stables located 400 yards from the house. Walking on the beach, fishing, skydiving, tennis, biking, or hiking around the Western “Kaena Point” end of the North Shore.
The house has a private ocean view pool with a large grass yard. We also have a paddle/tennis court in the back of the house for your private use. Rackets, balls, pool water, and fun included.
3,000 sq. ft. of interior space, 2 large ocean view decks, real 'Tiger Wood' floors, original restored old Pine Wood floors, granite counters, stainless appliances, 4 large bedrooms and 3 clean large bathrooms.
Bedrooms include:
King Kamehameha Suite - Large master with Ocean and pool Views, a separate sitting room with rattan couch and chairs, Mango Wood frame with California King with memory foam pillow top bed, spa tub, & shower, walk in closet and large private deck.
Queen Liliokulani Suite - This guest master has great ocean views, Cherry wood queen bed with memory foam, private bathroom, and walk in closet.
Queen Emma room - The garden view room has a Cherry wood queen bed with memory foam and a private deck.
Princes Kaiulani room - The 4th room or kid’s room has two twin beds with memory foam and rattan head boards.
We also have a full size 'Koa Punei' in the living room and a queen size blow up bed complete with pillows and sheets for those 'to happy to drive' extra guests.
All room beds have Hawaiian print comforters, 400-600 thread count cotton linens, and soft pillows. The house is decorated with Hawaiian prints and classic portraits, teak furniture, 8 seat dinning room table, tall bar stools, and sliding windows across the whole oceanfront.
We have wireless 3G/4G Internet access via a SPRINT HOT SPOT that allows 5 computers to go on at ounce for your computer use. Direct TV on one 40' flat screen in the living room and a 27' flat screen in the master bedroom.
Seasonal Polo matches at Mokuleia Polo field located right on the beach below us.

Our family of seven stayed here for 10 days and we're really quite sad to leave. If you are hesitant to rent a house that isn't beachfront I'm here to quell your fears. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. It's so spacious that it was perfectly comfortable for our large group all day, everyday. We were also quite smugly and safely playing board games and drinking wine when the North Shore was evacuating for a tsunami warning. The beaches are a short drive through the property, approximately a mile, and Haleiwa is about a 10 minute drive. There is a farmers market nearby. Lemon trees and rosemary and basil herbs on the property as well as a macadamia nut tree! Very handy. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the deck in the mornings with the lovely ocean and valley views and listening to the birds singing. So beautiful!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

Really loved the house! It was secluded and had amazing views and perfect for our family of 8. The bedrooms and whole house was very spacious, much better than the pictures showed.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, age 55+.

Our stay at the ranch house was truly magical. The house is one of the most quiet, peaceful, and relaxing places I have found in Hawaii. The day time view is stunning and the evenings are just as amazing with endless stars and falling asleep to the sound of crickets. The feeling of privacy and spaciousness allows for deep breaths and true relaxation. We also had a fabulous reception party on the beautiful lawn that left our family and friends with awe struck memories, and asking when they can come back. Overall this place is absolutely perfect if you are wanting to step away from the buzz of the city and enjoy some quality time soaking in the mellow lifestyle of the north shore.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+.

We had a few minor glicthes but overall the Ranch was wonderful. We had 3 generations and 3 different families all staying together and with the way the house is laid out there was plenty of room for everybody. We loved the view from the decks that go around the house. There is also a wonderful toy closet and kid friendly pool if you are traveling with small children. If you want to get away and still feel like you are living in luxory this is the place to stay. Don't be scared by the road up to the house. Once you are there it is amazing. I also entertained and again everybody had a place to sit down and enjoy everything about this house. Cathy and Ralph were very heplful and even though we never met them they made our stay very enjoyable. I would highly recomend this house to any large family who wants to enjoy nature and fine living at the same time. Lovely house...good time had by all..highly recommended and very enjoyable. And if you like limes...oh my!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, age 55+.

This was the perfect house for our family holiday. Lots of space and stunning views. It was perfect For the adults and children in our family. My husband and I took our honeymoon here and it was everything we wanted. Very private, very secluded, but still close to the beach and civilization. We have discussed with friends making a trip back and staying in the same location, since the house is very well suited for large crowds.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, age 55+.
