Beautiful Log Cabin

Enjoy this beautiful log cabin built in 2008, located on a beautiful 400 acre lake just minutes from Rhinelander. The Amenities include full kitchen with lots of room for all to enjoy cooking, large great-room overlooking the wonderful lake, two private bedrooms with queen beds, and two full bathrooms. Enjoy the sunrise in the loft, which features a bathroom, two queen beds and a futon with a TV and gamming system, overlooking the lake.
One of the best features is the completely private lot. This cabin is tucked away deep into the thick woods surrounded by wild-life and birds galore. There are no other houses nearby. If you enjoy fishing, you’ll love it here. This lake is an excellent Musky, Northern, Bass (Large and Small Mouth, and Rock), and pan fish lake. The largemouth bass are plentiful and always hungry. The cabin rental includes pier and small 12’ aluminum fishing boat with trolling and 2.5 hp motor. If you have your own boat, there is a boat launch close by. It is also a great ice-fishing lake (so I am told, I haven’t tried).
There is a huge deck with plenty of lounging area and large stainless steel gas grill. You’ll be in the deep north woods but only minutes from the city conveniences. The grocery store, restaurants, movie theatre, bait shop, liquor store, bowling alley, library, and much, much, more are only a couple of minutes car ride away.

This place was fantastic. Roomy and comfortable and in a nice quiet area. The snow was finally good enough to go sledding this year. I would return here in a heartbeat.Recommended for: Families with young children.

This cabin is perfect! A wonderful opportunity to leave behind the hustle and bustle of life...we spent our days tromping through the woods and snow and our evenings enjoying the warmth of a roaring fire, wood included. Our daughter was thrilled to play on the rope swing too! The cabin was very clean and well maintained. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. Definitely enjoyed use of the gas grill too. Will be back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This vacation property was in beautiful condition and we enjoyed ourselves the whole week. While we were still there we had made the decision to book again for the following year. We were fortunate enough to enjoy perfect weather the whole trip. Fishing proved to be very enjoyable. We caught a few northern pike, bass, crappie, and even a couple musky! Both my boys (9 and 15) were able to hook into musky for their first time, it was great to see it happen! My youngest even wrote about the trip after the summer, as his description for "his sweetest slice of summer". When I read what he had written on "back to school night" about our trip, it brought tears to my eyes to see how much he enjoyed it. The location is perfect, with Rhinelander minutes away, and a beautiful park with a beach just down the road. Here's to hoping this years' trip is even better!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Just back from a 5 day stay at this beautiful cabin. It was clean and comfortable.Beds were great! Plenty of room for our two families(4 adults and 2 teens). The loft for the kids had 2 ?queen beds and a double size futon couch plus there own bathroom. The game cube system was also in the loft area which was handy for the kids.Caught a variety of fish(quality not quantity). My husband caught a 41"muskie with only a minnow for bait. FYI,best fishing was in late afternoon or evening. Not much biting in the early morning so sleep in! Owner was easy to work with. He gave good directions and answered all our questions promptly. I'm sure we'll be back!Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Our family recently enjoyed a week long stay at this beautiful home and we didn't want to leave! The house is absolutely gorgeous both inside and out and the lake has some great fishing...we caught perch, bluegills, bass, crappies, walleye and my husband caught not one but two muskies! We also rented a wave runner (reasonably priced and it was delivered right to us on the lake) and enjoyed some tubing as well. The house is tastefully decorated with all the amenities and even had the essentials in the pantry. All we had to do was run into town for groceries (5 minute drive). The beds were very comfortable, the sound system in the living room was great for our late night movie watching, and the wildlife was abundant. Bald eagles, deer, chipmunks and a family of owls. You just can't go wrong with this place. We will definitely be back again!Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

What a beautiful home away from home! It's hard to call this a cabin when it has such wonderful modern amenities. We absolutely loved our stay and you have nice privacy a beautiful woods surrounds you and a nice lake. We would definately recomend this place and hope to visit it again ourselves soon. We stayed while the lake was frozen over and would like to visit again during warmer weather too! You can't go wrong with choosing this one!Did you find this review helpful? The cabin is beautiful and comfortable, everything you need is provided. The lakefront property is isolated and peaceful. We'd like to return in summer sometime to see and utilize the lake, in the winter of course all was white.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3
