We are located at the Las Olas Resort area at Playa La Barqueta. This is about a 25 min drive from the second largest city in Panama, DAVID. This is a very private location and there are plenty of activities to keep you occupied on your vacation. Or simply relax by the pool and ocean and let our staff see to your needs.
Ocean Front Vacation Details:
This is on the Pacific Ocean at Playa La Barqueta. This is a spectacular black sand beach from the Volcan Baru volcano that is now dormant. The area is large and vast. You can take strolls on the beach and ride horses, bikes on the beach. This is the most spectacular place in the world to watch the sun set.
Bedroom Set up:
Master Bedroom Suite The private first floor Master Suite features a King size bed, sitting area and a walk out to the rear pool deck. There is a 'His and Hers' walk in closets. (2 closets). The master bath has 2 sinks, large soaking tub with spa jets and a large walk in shower. Please see the slide show for more photos of this Master bedroom Suite. Ocean views from all windows. Second Master Suite The second floor 'Second' master suite has a King size bed, one very large walk in closet and a attached full bath with a walk in shower. Third Bedroom This bedroom features a Queen size bed and a walk out to the second floor covered balcony with a table for 4. Ocean views from windows and sliding doors. Golf is coming to this location soon. The new golf course is being built now. Golf is available in the area about 1 hour drive.
Electric and Water Service:
Electric Service. This villa has electric service by Union Funosa which is the public utility company in Panama. It also has a 40kw Caterpillar commercial grade back up generator. So you can be assured you will have power during your stay. See slide show. Water. This villa has its own water supply with onsite wells. Water is not a problem at this location.

He can stock the property with groceries and he can keep you supplied by going to the store in town when needed. Having help is the only way to vacation!

We purchased this villa since it is directly on the ocean. The prices in Panama are unreal! We never thought we could afford to have a ocean front villa. Now we do and we get to share it with others. The pace of life in Panama is why we keep going back. The slow pace of every day life really leaves you relaxed and not wanting to come back to the "rat" race.

Thanks for viewing our villa. This has been a true Dream Come True! We have recently completed this Ocean Front Villa and we are thrilled to be able to share it with others. We love to visit Panama, but when we can't be there, you can have a vacation of a lifetime.
With a live in care taker, daily maid service, ocean side massages and horse back riding on the beach, it is harder to leave each time we go.

Hi Joe, Just wanted to follow-up on our stay at your beach house in Las Olas. The house was absolutely awesome. We loved everything about it and the beach views were spectacular. The furnishings and decor were excellent and we appreciated the cleanliness. Joshua is a great caretaker. He was very friendly and helpful and was available anytime we had a question. Magdi was great too. We wish we could have stayed longer than a couple days. It definitely was the highlight of our Panama vacation! Thanks so much! Holly M

We had four weeks at Las Olas Villa lot 6. It was perfect for what we wanted. Sun and Beach! The sound of the crashing waves was great. Yes they could be heard inside but that was part of the holiday atmosphere. The pool is enormous, the best we've ever had as a private pool. The Lanai? is that the word? was used a lot during the heat of the day. The number of comfortable poolside chairs/loungers was large and they were well used, as were the many towels provided. Joshua and Megdme, not sure of spelling, were very friendly and helped us when we asked. A lovely drive through the villages from David to get to the villa. Colourful gardens, lots of birds etc. Loved the frogs watching us through the patio doors at night. Throw out a stray insect and they lept on it. We recommend Boquete and Cerro Punta as visits. Try the bookstore on the way to Boquete and buy the fresh vegetables and strawberries from the roadside stalls on the flanks of the volcano when visiting Cerro Punta. On the way back stop at the trout farm to buy the fish direct from the ponds there. An excellent holiday.

This villa has it all. We had a full house but you could always find a quit spot to read your book or just relax and take a nap. The fully equipped kitchen gave the epicurious family members all the amenities of home. When we were not exploring, fishing, biking, horseback riding, kayaking, or hiking/zip lining then we were either lounging around or swimming in the large, well maintained pool or down by the mesmerizing ocean. A two hour massage outside on the second level lanai is a must. While the masseuse removes all your stress you can concentrate on the sounds of birds, the ocean and crashing waves. We have had some wonderful vacations and this one ranks as one of the top three. A few words of advice: The owners made a book with pages and pages of information about the house, the caretaker, things to do, etc. You should look at all this information on your first day it will answer many questions you need to know and maybe didn’t think to ask. Joshua the caretaker speaks very good English and can arrange any activities and help you find your way around. He gave us directions to get around David, arranged massages, kayaking, chef dinner at the house, translated instruction for the maid and ran a few errands for us. Lastly, the Rey… the Rey is a complete grocery store similar to what you would find in the U.S. We actually thought it was much nicer than most stores we have been to anywhere. On my next visit, I’m going to go to the Rey the first day and completely stock the kitchen with a week’s supply. The drive into David is interesting but can get old after 3 or 4 trips. Rent a car. It’s inexpensive and kind of hard to get lost after you figure out the main roads.

The weather was very nice, breeze, the beach was clean and the mountain view was just spectacular. The food at the nearby local small restaurants (fondas) mom & pop run, are very cheap for basic breakfast: eggs (2), ham, toast or tortillas (corn bread) and coffee is $1.50. Whole 3 pound Fish and chips (plantano) $6.00. Best regards, I thanks once again for the opportunity to enjoy the Villa.

Joe, I am happy there is a place to write about our experience at your Las Olas Villa #6 in the Republic of Panama at Playa la Barqueta! WOW! INCREDIBLE! When can we come back? The only way to describe your Villa and the fantastic service you provided to help my family have the vacation of a lifetime was simply remarkable! The Villa has everything anyone could ever want and more! The Pacific Ocean and miles of natural beach are perfect and very private! Your pool area and the gazebo could not have been better! I could not get my kids out of the pool! I must say we really were quite skeptical when we seen the price! We knew the pictures looked great but we thought the price was really to good to be true for all that you offered! When we pulled up to the Villa, my family went crazy! I am now the best Dad that ever took his family on a vacation! At least according to my kids! Needless to say they LOVED it! The Master Suite is HUGE, we loved the great big jacuzzi tub and all the space in the suite! You did a great job separating the master suite on the first floor, we really appreciated the extra privacy. The balcony off the 2 oceanside bedrooms has got to be one of the best ocean views we have ever seen! Very Relaxing! I sat there for hours and read my books while the kids played in the pool below! We also wanted to comment on the extra services you offered us. You told us before we booked you could make our vacation easy and you did! Mr. Joshua, the on-site attendant speaks great english and was always willing to help! He had the refrigerator full of food and mas cervezas (lots of beer) upon arrival! Then we had massages out at the gazebo! The gazebo furniture is very nice and comfortable! Oh yea - then Mr. Joshua scheduled Orle, the chef to come and visit one night! What a FIESTA, we had a 6 course meal featuring Shish Kabobs and fresh made sauces and local vegetables. He is very talented! We also appreciated the great maid service we had a couple times during the stay! My wife wanted to pack up your staff and take them home! I guess you can tell we liked it! I am very pleased to offer this advice to anyone considering this property, "Las Olas Oceanfront Villa 6 is everything you could ever want in an oceanfront vacation home and more! Great Job! Panama is a beautiful, scenic and people friendly country. Our week stay in David at the Las Olas Villa was exceptional. The house is so spacious and offered us everything which made our stay there a fabulous anniversary vacation. We walked just a few steps to the ocean and beach and enjoyed our morning coffee sitting by the pool daily. The refrigerator was fully stocked with our personal requests when we arrived which also added to the conveniences and services that were accessible to us to make our time at the Villa so restful and romantic. We spent a day in the near by mountain town of Boquette for shopping, coffee plantations and out door adventures. Staying at this beautiful resort home was a grand opportunity and an experience we will never forget.
