Year Purchased: 2008
Why the Owner Chose Loreto
Living in Lake Tahoe we knew we wanted a warm beach home. The minute we got off the plane it just felt like home.
The locals are heartwarming, the cuisine and margaritas authentic . The villages of Loreto Bay felt very safe and charming.
The Sea of Corttez which is just a few steps away is 2 miles long and very secluded. We enjoy the Inn at Loreto bay amenities .
We loved the many authentic mexican design details that went into our Villa. Large 1500 square feet with wooden french doors, brick kitchen cupolas, high ceilings, bulit in barbeque with a wooden pergola for shade, gardens and water fountains. Feels very comfortable and safe.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa

8 minutes south of Loreto airport Loreto bay offers quiet relaxing, secluded beaches and homes, restuarants. and stores. Voted Best beach in Loreto!
Visit the historic town Loreto just 7 miles north. Great shopping, restaurants and sight seeing
Owner's Map of Loreto
We are the Tomlinsons from Lake Tahoe California. We are all skiers and enjoy getting warmed by the sun in Loreto.
The kids like sharpening their Spainish skills and try only talking Spainish to the locals. We are all dive certified and
go on many diving excursions. Natural beauty is what we fell in love with and the authentic local charm.
"It still feels like a secret!"
Come on down and explore all the natural treasures Loreto and its heritage have to offer.

We had a wonderful time in Loreto! The villa was beautiful, modern, and well maintained. The beach was clean and uncrowded. There was alot for us to do: we enjoyed snorkeling, kayaking, ATV riding, and a boat trip to Isla Coronado, where the beach was like paradise. We rented our equipment right on the beach from Jorge at the rental shack. He was delightful and treated us to chocolate clams, a local delicacy which he caught fresh every day. A truly amazing treat! The arrangements were very easy to make; Fauna was super helpful and easy going. We will definitely vacation here again. Thanks!

Our family had one of our best vacations ever in this beautifully decorated home. The owner’s descriptions are spot-on, and we were delighted by the luxury of the accommodations. We especially enjoyed the terraces for barbecuing the fish we caught and for enjoying the commanding views of the village, mountains and sea. In the best area of the development, close to the beach and the amenities, this home was the perfect base for our explorations. Walking through the beautifully landscaped neighborhood was a delight, with another architectural wonder around every corner…truly a photographer’s paradise. Further afield, the town of Loreto was also visually exciting and our boys loved the boat trips we took from there out into the Sea of Cortez for fishing and eco-tourism (amazing dolphins!). The owner provided all the extra attention that made our visit perfect, including a list of more things to do in the area than were possible in just one trip. We’ll be back soon to this elegantly appointed, comfortable home!

Love, love . love that all the amenities of the Inn at Loreto Bay are included- Pool with a swim up bar , hot tub, beach chairs under shade umbrellas, restaurants, concierge, movie night. You can also rent the kayaks and golf clubs or get a massage at the spa . The Villa is fabulous- seriously fabulous wait till you see it in person, and there is so much to do- all within walking distance. Its a great place to vacation. Beautiful beach- its all yours. :) This is our 2nd time down there and honestly it keeps improving. There is a 2nd pool that is great for kids. They just put is a convenient store- so you can walk to get things you need. Oh and I noticed the security guards patrol the grounds hourly. I felt very safe. Nice to have free WIFI. My ATnT phone worked down there! Weather was perfect, husband caught a huge durado- we had an in house chef "Felipe" cook it for us at home. That was my high light. YUMMY and very reasonable.
Owner response:Thank you Annie and family. You guys were the best. Your welcome back any time. Thank you for taking great care of the Villa. Im glad you got to taste the real flavor of Baja. Fauna ")

If you love quiet and secluded natural beaches, then you'll love the Loreto Bay area. The villa was VERY comfortable with great furnishings. We kayaked and snorkeled right out our front door everyday except the day we went on a fabulous hike. We did not find it necessary to rent a car and found lots to do with in walking distance. The restaurants were good too- loved the tortilla soup.

We loved staying at this lovely and spacious home. Everything is high-end from the TVs and kitchen equipment to the many architectural details. Having two Queen beds in the large 2nd room was a plus. The roof top grill station was awesome, lots of family outdoor grilling dinners. LOVED stargazing from the 3rd story tower. The villa was very clean and everything was perfect. We walked down the beach to the INN and ate at the restaurants which actually had terrific food. The homeowners have a very well maintained beautiful pool which we used a lot. The golf cours was gorgeous and challenging. Kayaking and beach walking and swimming are right out you door, very accessible. The SEa of Cortez is gorgeous and we would like to come back next year. Weather was warm. If you like a calm and lovely spot where you can enjoy the great natural outdoors, this is a wonderful place to vacation.

This villa is a little slice of paradise! Beautiful furnishings, great kitchen, comfy beds and exceptionally clean and sparkling throughout. The rooftop grill area and viewing tower were great places to socialize, read, or star-gaze. There's a lovely community pool a short walk away, and the beach is very close. The restaurant at the Inn was surprisingly good. Even though the Loreto Bay development is in an awkward stage of construction right now (late 2009), we still had plenty to do among friendly neighbors.

What a lovely Villa. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed. It sits in a quaint safe adorable beach neighborhood. It was a surprise to have all the luxuries in Mexico. The owner Fauna was very helpful and helped us with our activities . Being so close to the beach we had lots of beach adventures. Sunsets are beautiful. We rode ATVs to San Javier and rented jet skis in town. Bruce from Dolphin dive took us diving. Lots to see!! My children loved the chocolate mole'. Highly recommend and hope to return. You don't need Spainish but it helps. We rented a car, there is lots to see up and down the coast just minutes away. The Kline Family
