This new home with panoramic, bi-coastal views is centrally located for all your North Shore and Upcountry activities. For those into water sports such as wind surfing kite boarding and surfing. Consider it your "command post" where you can wake up in the morning and immediately see where the conditions will be best! You can see nearly all the north shore breaks and some of the South Shore ones from this house, and even spot individual kites or windsurfers on the water with the spotting scope! Once you decide where to go, you are only 12 minutes to Paia Bay, 15 minutes to Ho'okipa, 15 minutes to Sprecklesville, and 20 minutes to Kanaha Beach.
You will also remain central to all the Upcountry activities such as hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, road biking, zip lines, and sight seeing in Haleakela National Park. And, you are only a five minute walk into Makawao Town, which is a tourist attraction in-of-itself. It was once a cowboy town and now has many boutique shops and fine restaurants. The house has three bedrooms (actually three, but one is used as an owners lock-off) and two baths and is finished with travertine throughout the kitchen and bathrooms and bamboo floors with a slate entryway and laundry room. A gourmet kitchen with top of the line stainless steel appliances will please even the most discriminating chef, and a cappachino machine in addition to a coffee maker is also provided. The house at the bottom of a long driveway on an acre of land, which makes it very private and provides plenty of parking and security for both vehicles and/or ocean toys. At an elevation of 1,750 feet, it offers the perfect climate and with it's "front row" panoramic views and fantastic sunsets (also seen from the tub, if you like), you will feel like you're at your own private resort, but remain close to everything Maui has to offer!

I've been coming to Maui for 27 years. I was initially drawn to the wind sports, including windsurfing and now kite boarding, but there are so many more reasons I keep coming back!

The first time I drove by this land I was like... OMG! This is the crown jewel of Makawao. I found out who owned it and wrote an offer the next day. Since then I've built this house to complete the vision.
