This is a great old 2 story on the beach, built in 1958. The upstairs floor, with its high ceilings, expansive deck, and amazing ocean views, creates the getaway-from-it-all feeling. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed and sunset balcony access. The other bedroom has a custom loft with a full size bed and a queen bed underneath. The living room has a fold-out futon. The downstairs apartment is a one bedroom with a queen size bed and an ikea pull out couch in the living room that sleeps 2. Enjoy your morning coffee in the sunny dining room overlooking the dunes. An enclosed outdoor shower (hot and cold) awaits you after your day in the surf. These adjoining fully equipped floors (both with laundry facilities and kitchens) are great for 2 families. Visit Cafe 11 just a 2 blocks away for live music and great food. Your retreat is located just a mile from Anastasia State Park and 10 minutes from historic St. Augustine attractions. Bring your favorite DVD's as there is no cable, but not to worry, you won't care. About the owner: Money burns a hole in my pocket, at least that's what my wife tells me. i like real estate and good pizza. i am trying out the vacation rental market.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
This is where i always want to go for vacation so why not make it easier on myself and just get a place over there? it's scary to purchase an old house on the beach, but it's more fun than scary.

I try very hard to forget about all the normal stresses I face, and instead enjoy my wife and kids. I can't figure out if it's the awesome sky, or the continuous rumble of the waves that makes me slow down... all i know is i love it.
