Located 50 yards from Headin' Home ski run, and less than 2 blocks from the base. Fabulous views of the mountains and valley. This is a ground floor, 2 level condo.If you want your "commute" to the ski slopes to be a quick walk, this is the condo for you. Great views of Wheeler Peak, the highest mountain in New Mexico. Park in a reserved space, 50 feet from the front door, but enjoy views that feel like from a tree house.

Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was very clean. Rating Details: I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was more than happy with the location. The vacation rental was very clean. The property manager was more than helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property was a little disappointing compared to the internal pictures showed on the internet. Much older than appearance and not nearly as bright. Best mountain view was from bedroom (bed faced away from window view). I believe it was noted that kitchen was remodeled, but did not appear to be. Enjoyed the wildlife (hummingbirds, bear, etc) from our patio.Did you find this review helpful? About the owner: Hi, we are the Bissells - Charley and Elise +3 boys. We live in Richardson, Texas, but love to escape to the high country in northern New Mexico.
Why the Owner Chose Angel Fire:
Just a relaxing 12 hour drive from DFW, Angel Fire is a wonderful family vacation spot all seasons of the year. In the winter, we enjoy skiing, snowboarding, sledding, and shopping in nearby Taos. In the summer, there is golf, hiking, biking, wildlife viewing, fishing, river rafting, etc. Angel Fire is close to other destinations including Taos, Santa Fe, and Red River, so you can always jump in the car and see some new scenery. Spring and Falls are some of our favorite times to be there. You will feel like you have the resort to yourself at times! But the weather is wonderful, the people friendly, and the changing of the seasons brings many sites to see. Some of the photographs you see in our unit were taken by Elise Bissell.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We hope that you will come visit our vacation condo. We are working hard to make it comfortable. Since we purchased it, we have been renovating constantly with new flooring, fresh paint, new kitchen appliances and countertops, etc. Ski Run is one of the few ski in/out complexes in Angel Fire. In addition, unlike many other properties, parking is right outside the front door, making things very convenient!
