This is our primary home. However we travel in the winter and spring, so it is our vacation rental at that time.
Ours is a stunning three story home overlooking Payette River in the scenic resort town of McCall, Idaho. Newly remodeled throughout (2006), tastefully and comfortably furnished, it can sleep 6 people on the bottom level--which is our guest quarters. There is a queen sized log bed with pillow top mattress in the guest room, a sofa bed (with air mattress built in) in the sitting room and a futon. There is a sitting room, desk w/ Wi-Fi computer and a full bath.
A refrigerator is in the garage and there is a coffee pot and cups down here as well. There is a deck off the guest room with views of the river, mountains and Brundage Ski Resort. There is a gas fireplace and a large screen high definition TV with surround sound and a DVD player in the sitting room. It's very cozy. You can have one family down here and another couple on the top floor in the loft and have tons of privacy!
Main living quarters are on the second level. This level has two stories of windows, all facing the view. There are wood floors, and the dining, gourmet kitchen and living room are here, along with a full bath and laundry. There is a gas fireplace and we have another large screen high definition TV with surround sound and DVD player. There is a two level deck off this floor where we barbecue during the warmer months.
The third level is the master bedroom/bath and it's a loft with a lofty view! The bed is king sized, top of the line and there is a desk with Wi-Fi, another flat screen TV, walk-in closet and half bath.
Every level in our home has astonishing river and mountain views. Half acre lot. Very private and quiet. Most nearby homes are vacation homes so most of the time we have the neighborhood to ourselves!

Love Winter Sports? Lovely 3-Story Home on River in McCall

Why the Owner Chose McCall
We fell in love with McCall on a visit in 2004 and bought a second home here that summer. After spending three summers here, we had fallen even more in love with McCall and decided to make it our primary residence. We sold our main home (which was in Mexico) and bought a beautiful, 3 story home on the Payette River (half acre of land) that overlooks the local ski area, Brundage Mountain. If you like mountains, lakes and rivers, and wildlife ... this is Mother Nature at her finest. We guarantee you will find that the scenery here is some of the most beautiful in the world. It's uncrowded, the people are amazing and the town has everything you need to live comfortably. It is a resort, but not anything to compare to Aspen or Sun Valley. This is laid back and friendly and affordable to most of us regular folks. We only rent this house out during the winter and spring, so it's definitely for skiers, snow boarders, cross country skiers, snowshoers and snowmobilers. We are located 100 miles north of Boise, the state capital with a major airport and all services.

Should you wish to have groceries, etc. purchased on your behalf prior to your arrival, we do provide concierge service at $25 per hour plus the cost of the goods purchased.

We are Terry and Ann, married for eight years and currently living in McCall, Idaho. We believe this is one of the most beautiful, friendly places on the planet! It is our primary home, not an investment property, so it is very lovingly appointed!
We would like to spend our winters and springs traveling and living in different parts of this country ... at least for the next few years. So we are looking to rent out our home to winter sports enthusiasts. We are dog and kid friendly. I am a writer and Terry is a retired fire chief and currently a photographer.
