This two bedroom plus loft condo has three full bathrooms and sleeps 10. Remodeled in winter ’08, this condo features a brand new kitchen and bathrooms, washer/dryer, a stone fireplace with unlimited firewood, brand new mattresses and high speed wireless internet. The kitchen is fully stocked with all new appliances, high-end cooking toys and all the basics. It’s comfortable and perfect for a family getaway with friends.
Whether you're going for a ski weekend in the winter, or for hiking, biking and boating in the summer, you will find this location perfect and the accommodations comfortable and homey. This is my vacation home, not a rental property in the traditional sense. I am looking for renters who will treat my home respectfully and with the care they would their own home.

This place is FANTASTIC! WE had one of the best family vacation's ever! The condo is beautiful and extremely comfortable in every way! You can walk in and feel very much at home. Everything is high quality from the bed linens to the kitchen supplies etc.! Perfect for a family get together! The location is ideal and the tram to the village is very close by. Chamonix also has a wonderful pool and rec center. Looking forward to spending some time there next summer! WE highly recommend this place! The owner is wonderful to work with and made it very easy and convenient. LOVED IT!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

I have rented this condo many times and it's my first choice for accommodations in Mammoth. Great location a block from Canyon--easy for those who want to come and go at different times. This condo is beautiful inside, and very spacious for 8-10 people. The boot and glove blowers get everything nice and dry for the next day. Owner keeps the kitchen stocked with all the basics, beds are very comfortable, and the condo is always clean and inviting upon arrival.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+.

Excellent spacious clean remodeled condo for two families to stay in. Wonderful layout. Kids loved the loft and us parents enjoyed private rooms. Condo is lovely and has everything you need to cook and sit around a large table. Owner is very nice and reasonable. Will be back if/when the condo is available.Did you find this review helpful? About the owner: I work in marketing in Los Angeles. I have two hilarious kids, both boys ages 13 and 15 who keep me very busy when I'm not working. We love to get away for ski weekends with our friends, but can't go as often as we'd like. So I've decided to rent my place out when we can't be there.
Why the Owner Chose Chamonix:
I started skiing about ten years ago when my kids were little. We all love it so much that I decided to look into buying a place. But I didn't want to invest in Mammoth unless I knew I would visit year round. We went up last summer and were surprised that we enjoyed the mountains even more in the summer. Well, maybe not more, but certainly equally. The Eastern Sierras are just so beautiful and there's so much to do up there.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The location is really the best thing about my place. It's literally a four minute walk to Canyon Lodge, even when carrying ski equipment. It's so nice to have a quick trip home after a long day of skiing, take off your boots and place them in the boot dryer that I provide, and chill out in front of the beautiful fireplace. There is unlimited firewood. I love group trips so when I remodeled, I made sure that I could fit a dining table where ten people can sit together comfortably. It's perfect for two families or for a group of adults. It's a beautiful place.
