Year Purchased: 2004
We have been married 44 years. My wife is a Registered Nurse. I recently retired after 20 years as VP/General Manager of a New York City radio station. We have four great children and two beautiful grand daughters. We belong to a local health club. I enjoy tennis. We both love to read. Much of our time is spent maintaining almost 4 acres of lawn, trees, flowers and plants. Also a pool and a pond. We moved up to the country some 8 years ago and have never been happier. Why the Owner Chose Cypress Woods
We chose to buy in Naples in 2004 after visiting friends who resided there. After a few days of looking at properties, we found and fell in love with Cypress Woods Golf and Country Club. The price was right, full golf membership was included, the setting was lovely and the location was perfect. It is a straight shot from the airport on Rt. 75 that puts us at our front door in less than 1/2 hour. Although neither of us are golfers, we thought that golf membership would be a big plus for friends, family and renters. We were right. In short, we made a great choice and really feel blessed to have this wonderful little slice of paradise.
The Unique Benefits of this Condominium
We enjoy, and always recommend, Sunday brunch at the Cypress Woods Clubhouse. It is fabulous. A great treat and a wonderful way to start the day. Of course we relish our days at the beach. We especially love Naples in the summer when the crowds are fewer and the Gulf is like bath water. Dinner in Old Naples is another special treat. Sometimes we like to just stroll the avenue, window shop, people watch and enjoy an ice cream cone. Naples is a great walking town. Our children and grandchildren love it there too. Thankfully, our renters love our place as much as we do, even taking a certain amount of "pride of ownership" while there. Our renters are really nice folks. That is an extra bonus for us.
