Welcome to Villa del Sol, our splendid four bed/two bath villa located in Southern Dunes, Haines City in beautiful central Florida. Our villa comes fully equipped with everything you would need or want to make us your vacation home away from home!
Our luxurious villa is an ideal home base you'll enjoy returning to after you explore everything that Central Florida has to offer. Whether your plans include busy days at the theme parks, shopping at the many malls and outlets, or visiting the many historical sights, you'll love winding down at your vacation home away from home.
Our large lanai with ceiling fan and heated southeast facing pool are perfect places to spend the day relaxing in the beautiful Florida sun.
The golf course at Southern Dunes is a PGA championship golf course rated four and a half stars by Golf Digest and ranked the 6th top course in Florida.
Not only does Southern Dunes offer a great 18 hole golf course, there is a club house, restaurant and full bar. There are three large community swimming pools, tennis courts, and a playground for the little ones, as well as a fresh water pond.
Outside our staffed and gated entrance within walking distance, you can find a Super Wal-Mart, banking, and many restaurants.
Getting to Disney takes only 15 minutes. Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, City Walk and Sea World are all just a short drive away. Busch Gardens and Kennedy Space Center are about an hour away. Just down the road you will find Florida’s original theme park, Cypress Gardens. If you head a little towards the South you will find the chain of lakes region which is excellent for fresh water fishing.
Our beautiful home has central air for when you need to escape the Florida heat. The two master bedrooms and two twin bedrooms are comfortable and welcoming when you find time to get some sleep! There are also two sleep sofas available for additional guests. There is also a pack n' play available for the little ones to dream in. Each bedroom has a flat screen TV. All bathroom and bedroom closets have an ample supply of new towels and linens.
Our TV/living area has a flat screen TV and DVD player. Our Bistro area boasts an iPod docking station sound system and lots of comfortable seating. The Bistro area then opens up to the fully equipped kitchen which makes preparing meals while visiting or chatting a pleasure.

Why the Owner Chose Southern Dunes
We purchased our home in central Florida because it is 1 hour from both the west and the east coasts and we love both. There are great beaches on both coasts, Daytona and Cocoa to the east and Clearwater and St. Petersburg to the west. We also have children and we wanted to be close to the theme and water parks. Tampa is approximately 40 minutes west. Orlando is 20 minutes east and both have fabulous day and nightlife. The reason we chose Southern Dunes is that it is by far one of the most beautiful developments in central Florida. You do not have to be a golfer to stay here. The meticulous maintenance by the grounds keepers only enhances the beauty. It is also fabulous having a restaurant and lounge on the property.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa
We have been visiting Florida for thirty years and have stayed in hotels, motels, and mini suites. We experienced a villa vacation and it is by far the best way to vacation no matter the size of your group. The privacy is the best. It's great to have the many rooms to enjoy the company of others or separate yourself when you need alone time. The private pool and the option to prepare your own meals are fabulous. it's terrific to have a spacious home base to return to after a full day of theme-parking, golfing or visiting the beach.

What a great place! We loved that it is in a gated community, there is a Walmart at the entrance, and a neighborhood workout room just 4 doors down. We'd start the day off with a walk around the neighborhood and then time in the workout room. The property was very clean and was actually nicer than the pictures. Location was a plus - pretty much 30 to 60 minutes from anything. We are from Indiana and this was our first time being in a warm state in January. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone. You will not be disappointed!

We have recently stayed at Villa del Sol. We can recommend the property. It was clean and as advertised. It is a good location for travelling to the theme parks. The property was in a quiet and safe location. The owners were more than helpful with questions. The beds were really comfortable too.

When we arrived at the villa we immediately felt comfortable. The villa was very clean, had a great layout and beautifully decorated. It surpassed our expectations and we are looking forward to our next visit. The owners have been very easy to work with, which is another reason why we decided to go back to the villa.

Very pleased with this property. The home was as promised in the listing description. Nicely decorated to feel as a lived in home would. Very clean and obviously well cared for. The owner was extremely patient and very helpful in answering questions. My deposit was returned promptly after the final inspection. I'll definitely stay in this property again and will recommend to people traveling to this area. There are numerous restaurants south on Hwy 27 in Winter Haven or in Orlando itself. There are numerous golf courses with Diamond Back and the Legends giving great value for the money.

Immaculately clean, peaceful, decadent and easy to find. Extremely roomy with all the amenities of home and then some! Beautiful home! Easy ride to Disney attractions, wish I had gone to the beaches but loved relaxing and enjoying the beautiful private pool.

My family and I stayed in the villa and were amazed at how beautiful it was. The pictures are great but when you see it in person you will more than impressed. The landscaping was beautiful, the pool was extremely clean, all the furniture was 10 times better than Rooms To Go! If you are looking for a great villa to rent during your stay in Florida you must stay here. The owners make you feel as if you new them all your life. Food establishments, shopping, gas stations etc.. where right at the front entrance. During our stay we were fortunate enough to see some of the other villas and I must say they do not compare to this one. We will be back and we will ONLY request this villa. Hat's off to Erin and her husband for thier Villa!

House was very nice, clean and well appointed. Nice area close to all activities and stores. The local information book was very helpful as to hours of parks, resturants, and other things. Nice golf course and clubhouse. We would recommend thier unit to others.

We had a fabulous time during our stay at villa de sol! Erin & Mike, your vacation home is one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. Our entire family (11 in all) had a wonderful time. the house was very well equiped to handle our large family, we lacked for nothing. the kids loved the pool and the proximity to Disney made it ideal! Southern Dunes golf club is my favorite club of any course in the area, and we never visit Florida without playing there, it is always in top notch shape!

We were so pleased with our stay in this great villa! The house was immaculate when we arrived and lacked nothing for us to settle in comfortably right away. Everything in the listing was delivered as promised. The owners have really gone all-out to cover every detail to ensure a memorable stay. The location is ideal. The parks are an easy drive away while the quiet, secure neighborhood was so nice to return to in the evening. As the parents of 6 young children, we were impressed by the provision of the stroller, high chair, porta-crib, etc. The stroller alone saved us at least $60 in rental fees at the parks! Our kids were crazy about the pool and there was a community pool only a few doors away where all could spread out even farther. As suggested by the owner, Manny's Chophouse was a great place to eat. With free kids' meals on Monday and Tuesday and BOGO fajitas on Wednesday, we had a couple of nice meals very inexpensively. We have planned a family trip for a week at Disney in a few years and had planned to stay at a Disney resort. However, we are so pleased with our stay at this property, we will most likely come back here instead of staying at Disney. Thanks for a restful week!

This was the first time we had rented a place, ever, for a vacation. This villa is clean, beautiful, wonderful. The owners were extremely nice and easy to work with. I had high expectations and they were all met. The description is accurate. The location is close to many attractions. I will (and have) recommended this rental to my family and friends. If you have a child that plays college baseball, softball in the Winter Haven area, this is will definitely work for you. We didn't play golf but the course looked beautiful...maybe next time!
