Private Homes estate description
605 Woodside Avenue
This it The Best of The Best!!!!
Location! Location! Location!
Old Town Treasure on the Gold Coast.
605 Woodside is the ultimate ski-in/out and board-in/out property in Old Town. Only for elite, discerning guests who appreciate, and demand the very best. A unique one-of-a-kind, extremely exclusive, private enclave of two special ski homes. A spectacular newly constructed, state-of-the art 6,400 SF/5BR/6.5BA main house, and the detached cozy 750 SF/2BR/2BA historic black smith's cottage (Smithy's House).
The main house is a 'refined mountain rustic lodge' design, with extensive timber-framing, 50 ft timber frame elevator tower with see-thru mine style cab, and incorporates retro silver mine design elements. The guest house is a fully restored 100+ year old cottage, steeped in history. It retains its warm cabin flavor with authentic barn wood walls, wood floors, pot belly stove, antique refrigerator, mining style lighting, and hammered copper counters/sinks.
Combined, both houses form the ultimate ski compound for large families and groups. They share a private heated driveway and 2,000 SF motor court so, there's plenty of off-street parking, a rare find in old town. They are detached yet very close. Regardless of who sleeps were, all can enjoy the unique amenities of the main house with its fitness room, steam shower, sauna, game/media room, billiards, wet bar/wine cellar and vaulted great room. The C4 home automation system has audio zones in every room and the patios with video and audio streaming ability.
Most importantly both homes share the same superior ski access from the ski-prep room, or directly out the back door where the heated patio abuts Quit n' Time ski run. Click in, then ski down to the Town Lift base only 500 foot away. Ski they slopes all day on Ski Magazine's top rated Park City Mountain Resort's 3,300 acres of varied terrain. Return right to your back door via either the Quit n’ Time or Creole ski runs. Not ready to stay home? Then walk a few steps to Main Street and check out the après-ski scene.
Or just relax in the custom built 120 jet hot tub featuring built in Spa Theater Surround Sound System with Plasma TV, right across from the awesome fire pit and 48' Wolf BBQ. Prep your meal in Sub-Zero/Wolf equipped gourmet kitchen with butler's pantry, while everyone congregates around the two fireplaces in the spectacular vaulted great room and dining room. At the end of the evening you can retreat to you luxurious master suite, equipped with 2-way fireplace, TV, beverage center, hammered copper tub, and steam shower. Then again you could take a one minute walk down the stairs for a night on the town and enjoy all the restaurants, shops, galleries, and nightlife historic Main Street has to offer.

Incredible Ski Compound!
Incredible Ski Compound!
What a fabulous house, location, EVERYTHING! We stayed in the "Smithy's House" over spring break 2013. The property is amazing. The attention to detail is unbelievable. We are a "High Tech" family, and this house suits us perfectly. The home automation system is amazing. You can literally stream music from your iPhone to any room in the house, or the entire house. There are two Apple TVs that allow you to stream video to either of the massive living areas, or access your ITunes, Netflix, Hulu accounts to play any type of movie or video imaginable. You can control lights, locks, and even see who's at the front door from any of many display screens throughout the house. The WIFI access is super fast. There is even a computer and laser printer in the butler's pantry next to the kitchen. We used it to print our boarding passes for our return flight. The ski run is about 10 steps from the back patio, so many days we skied back to the house for lunch, then zipped back out to ski the rest of the day. The staff was very helpful, stocking the fridge for us prior to our arrival with our list of select food and drinks. In addition to our family of 5, we brought some friends; a family of 4 who stayed in the guest house. What a cool experience, having a State of The Art brand new MANSION steps away from a 100+ year old newly renovated cozy miner's cottage. You will absolutely not be disappointed with this property. Lawrence and staff are top notch and the property is unequaled. It is on-par or superior to any ultra high-end property in Park City, Deer Valley or anywhere else we have ever visited. Oh, Car is optional. The property is directly across the street from the steps down to main street. We timed it......90 second walk to Main Street Pizza and Noodle!

Excellent rental house
Excellent rental house
I have rented this property 3 years in a row. In my opinion it is the best house I have ever rented in a great town. From the moment we arrived, Lawrence set up transportation from Salt Lake City airport which is only 30 minutes away from Park City to where the house is located. The house has an incredible location (ski on/ski off) to the ease of getting to Park City town which is just two flights of stairs down the hill. Lawrence left no stone unturned when building this house. From the hot tub with a TV, to the work out room, to the beautiful furnishings I always look forward to an incredible week there. I highly recommend renting this property

Unbelievable Mountain House
Unbelievable Mountain House
This home is truly unbelievable! No detail is overlooked in this very high end property. Its location could not be more perfect as it is a short walk to the main street and easy access to the slopes. I would recommend it to anyone that has a large group and/or wants to have a very memorable vacation in Park City.

Best rental house in downtown Park City
Best rental house in downtown Park City
These two houses top any hotel or other lodging for quality and convenience in downtown Park City. We stayed here for a week in February 2011 with a handful of friends and their families. Everyone loved the experience. Highlights include ski in/out, an easy stairway walk right out the front door to Main St, and most importantly, the houses themselves. The main house is four stories accessed by silver mine-themed elevator, around which the see-through glass floors make you feel like you're looking down a mine shaft; our young kids loved that. No expense was spared in equipping every room in the house with the finest furnishings, including top-of-line appliances, exposed wood beams, beautiful floors and countertops, etc. The bed in the master bedroom is particularly comfortable. The driveway is so well heated that it's comfortable to walk in socks on a freezing night. We made good use of the hot tub, grill, workout room, and HDTVs with excellent sound system. I found the owner very pleasant to work with, and he and his helper were available to answer any question. We recommend this house highly for a top-quality, only-in-Park-City experience.

About: Hi! I'm Lawrence Meadows, 50 year old airline pilot, and avid skier. I designed, built, and now manage this spectacular ski property and personally handle guest rentals. As the saying goes, I came for the winter, and stayed for the summer. I first skied Park City in '86, and feel in love with it. Being a pilot, I regularly commuted to work on the east coast. Since Park City has the best ease of access of any resort in the country, it the obvious choice for me. I bought my first home here in '95, and been here ever since. In the past six years me and my wife, Ann Marie, have designed, developed, and built the best super-luxury ski homes in Old Town. We now actively manage nightly rentals in them. Ann Marie is gourmet chef, and has owned numerous restaurants, she can arrange for catering or your own private chef. We will personally attend to all of your needs. You won't be dealing with a third party property management company, and as such won't be neglected.
Why Private Homes:
Ease of access from anywhere by flight. Only 35min drive from airport. No need for a car once you're here. You can walk or ski to everything.
