Why the Owner Chose Montespertoli
My father bought the property at the end of fifties. He was a business man and every Friday evening all the family was leaving Florence to spend the week end end in Montalbino where my father was organizing very important restorations in the building and the vineyards and olive groves. The house was always full of life: friends, guests, farmers, masons, plumbers, housekeepers, gardeners. After I got married, with my husband we started a very busy international life, but we always spent our holidays in La Rocca di Montalbino we considered La Torre our "real" home, where our books (so many) and family souvenirs and antiques were waiting for us. Ten years ago my husband passed away and I decided to come back to my roots and four years ago I restored LA TORRE to share with others people the feeling of peace and life La Torre communicate.
