Keywords:  Apartment

Please note that for reservations that coincide with a Saturday night there is a minimum stay of 4 nights.

Big and spacious apartment in Barcelona, comfortable fully self catering, Barcelona holiday apartment accommodation, in the gothic Neighborhood close to the Plaza Real and to the Barcelona Ramblas, ideal for a short-term rental for a family or a group of friends. Large, spacious and completely renovated apartment in a building from 1856 and only 3 minutes walking distance from the world famous “Barcelona Ramblas”.
160 m2 (1722 sq. ft.) on a third floor without elevator; “so leave your huge trunks and heavy suitcases at home”.
Three double bedrooms, one with an additional double sofa bed, a double sofa bed in the living room and a second living room/salon with another double sofa bed, and three full bathrooms.
Spacious modern design fully equipped open eat in kitchen with a very comfortable dining area for twelve people.
Heating, air conditioning and ceiling fans, colour satellite TV, radio CD.
Double glazing and special laminated silence glass in windows.

The building forms part of a specially protected architectural heritage residential compound, partially renovated, located in the old center of the city “Barrio Gótico”.
Situated in the heart of the old medieval town of Barcelona; a mix of charming, picturesque, old-world neighborhood still relatively poor with its winding narrow and mainly pedestrian streets, small shops and famous traditional “tapas bars”, “tascas” and “tavernas” and recent influx of young liberal professionals, artists, university students and foreign immigrants with trendy and ethnic bars, restaurants and fashionable avant-garde shopping. Close to the Plaça Sant Jaume, a main square in the heart of the old town and still the administrative center of Barcelona, extremely well located for a tourist.

At only three blocks from the old docks, which are now the site of a great entertainment mall, the “Maremagnum” and the yacht and pleasure boat port. And at walking distance from the most interesting attractions that the city offers: Las Ramblas, Plaça Catalunya, beaches, the Picasso Museum, the Liceo Opera Theatre, the Cathedral, “el Borne” and the central shopping area, etc.

Reloj Passage is a little side street just off George Orwell square and Escudellers street. Orwell and Escudellers are very well known for their day and night time commercial activity, with lots of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. When constructed in 1856 the Passage contained the central offices, headquarters and the family residence of the owners of the most important Catalan Bank at that time. The one disadvantage is that the entrance and staircase of the building are rather shabby: it dates from 1856 and it looks as if it has not been painted since then. There are two subway lines (green and yellow) and many buses serving this area which can connect you quickly and easily to the rest of Barcelona.

Normal minimum stay required is of three nights. Reservations that coincide with a Saturday night have a minimum stay of 4 nights.

Booking: €10; Cleaning service: one-time fee of €95 for apartment-cleaning at the end of your stay.

We, a group of eight people attended the welcoming Barcelona from 16 to 26 May 2011. The clock apartment is in the heart of Barcelona (Gothic Quarter, 5 minutes walk from La Rambla). How lucky we are. Great apartment renovated, equipped with everything necessary. Near grocery stores, 10 minute walk to the metro station, 20 minutes to the beach. And in the kitchen, we cooked our favorite soup. Vacation was a success. Thank you. All friends will recommend your apartment.

Hi, Thank you so much for your help and advice. We have taken Barcelona by storm and had a whirlwind week of sight-seeing, including a trip to Figueres for the Dali Museum. The girls have single-handedly turn around the Barcelona economy with their shopping. The accommodations were wonderful. We are very pleased and would easily recommend it. I’m afraid I broke, of all things, the broom. I hope my replacement is satisfactory. I hope you will find everything in order

We’ve had a great time in Barcelona and in your nice apartment. (It feels like home, living in an environment filled with Ikea). All in all – we have enjoyed our stay and we hope for return. We will gladly recommend our friends to stay here. Best wishes,
