Sitting on a ridge in the Blueberry Hill area, our 3250 square foot 4 bedroom 2 bath adobe home has extraordinary views of mountains and town. It is a quick 10 minute drive to the center of Taos, and 30 minutes to the Taos Ski Valley.
The property is an entertainer's dream. The house has generous living space with a large living room, dining room, and family room to give your group lots of space to spread out. The kitchen is exquisitely finished with custom tile and cabinets, a Wolf range, and new stainless steel refrigerator and dishwasher. There is also a kitchenette in the family room with a refrigerator, microwave/toaster oven, and coffee maker. The radiant floor heat and two kiva fireplaces will keep you cozy on chilly nights. Firewood is provided.
There is spectacular outdoor space as well, with three courtyards (one with a large hot tub and beautiful summer flowers) and a patio ideal for viewing sunsets. The quiet private road is ideal for walking and enjoying the views.
Both the living room and family room have large flat screen TVs. There is a desktop computer for your use, or Wi-Fi if you bring your laptop. The living room has a DVD player with a library of movies. You can connect your MP3 player to the stereo which has both indoor and outdoor speakers.
Two of the bedrooms have queen beds, and two have twin beds that can be converted to kings on request. A crib and high chair can also be provided on request. A full size sofa bed in the family room provides additional sleeping space.
During non-peak rental periods, the house can be rented as a smaller unit (without the family room, kitchenette and bedrooms 3 and 4). Please contact me for information about pricing of the house as a 2 bedroom or for monthly rates.

The Unique Benefits at this House
Our beautiful house sits on a ridge in the Blueberry Hill area just above Taos. It's a quick 10 minute drive into the center of town, and 30 minutes to the Ski Valley. Because of its ridge-top location there are stunning views of mountains in all directions. The house is on a quiet private road that is perfect for walking and enjoying the mountain views.
Small village on the Ski Valley Road with an historic church, interesting shops, and amazing ice cream.
A restaurant we enjoy very much, and the chef was given the 2009 James Beard award
The Adobe Bar has live music every night with no cover charge; the restaurant is in a historic building and has great food

We started visiting Taos because of the wide range of outdoor and cultural activities that it offers. My husband is an avid skier, and at that time, I was not, so we wanted a destination with a variety of things to do. Now, thanks to the wonderful Taos Ski Valley Ski Instructors, I too am an avid skier. Today we enjoy the great diversity of year round activities in Taos, from hiking, art tours, live music venues, the balloon fiesta, events at the Pueblo, and great dining. We now are fortunate to be able to live here full time, in a house just down the road from this one. We are happy to help you plan your visit to Taos, from making recommendations on sightseeing, restaurants, and special events, to stocking the kitchen prior to your arrival with your favorite foods.
