This Beautiful completely remodeled condo in Kihei Bay Vista complex is located across the street from the Humpback Whale Museum and historic Kulepolepo Beach. This beach is ideal for children as the water is generally calm. The Kihei Canoe Club also houses their outrigger canoes on this beach and often you can contact them to participate in some of their activities, not to mention that you can see some of the most AMAZING sunsets there as well! You can see and hear the ocean from our lanai, as well as see majestic Haleakala peeking over the rooftops...and you can see beautiful Kahalawai (West Maui Mountains from the bedroom window as well.
The pool/jacuzzi and BBQ area is located directly in front of our unit at the very bottom of the stairs. Kihei Bay Vista also offers free parking for quests, and a small putting green on the beautifully kept lawn. There are only 60 units in the complex; so it's peaceful and quiet...a perfect tropical retreat!!
We are also close to shopping and dining as Safeway, Outback, Roy's and Starbucks are located only 5 minutes away. The complex is also close to all the main thoroughfares on Maui. We are only 10-15 minutes away from the airport and the bus stop is right in front of the complex. Many of our favorite places are just minutes away!!
Ma'alea Harbor and the Aquarium are a 5 minute drive. Wailea and our fav beach, Makena (known by locals as Big Beach) is only 15 - 20 minutes away; as is Lahaina, Ka'anapali Beach and the Maui Swap meet (A MUST!!) Upcountry and the famed Ulupalakua Ranch is close at hand also. While there, you can also stop in at the winery and partake in tasting some fabulous Maui wine and enjoying the beautiful country there. Or how about a tour to visit Iao Valley and Na Wai Eha (the 4 waters) to soak up a bit of culture and learn about what makes Maui so special? All these places and attractions are close by.

Had a wonderful two week stay. The condo was great!! Made use of the swimming pool and the BBQ area right below the condo. Lots of places to go to right in the Kihei area. Walks along the ocean were so relaxing. Plus, took the road trip to Kahakuloa...such beautiful sights!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

Property isn't new but very well maintained. Quiet. Central location makes it convenient to everything on the island. Directly across the street is a beautiful clean beach that was practically empty. The unit overlooks the pool area and barbeque area but private feeling due to mature palms and plantings. Great lanai with seating for 4. Clean unit. Had a minor plumbing problem which the owner took care of immediately. Very responsive. Have already recommended this property to friends and will personally return. Excellent value. Many restaurants of various ethnic and island cuisine near by as well as a great choice of supermarkets.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Kenny Thank you for letting us stay at your condo. It was a great spot, easy to get to everything . We love the long walk on Sugar Beach. Your condo had everything we needed and yes the king size bed was very comfy. The BBQS were great and so handy to the unit. The hot tub was broke the entire month that we were there so that was a downer but not a problem. The kitchen had all the gadgets we needed The TV was nice and big, loved it. This was our first time visiting Maui and our first experience with the 'condo experience.' We were very pleased to have chosen this unit at the Kihei Bay Vista. The complex was nicely maintained and the unit was very comfortable. The little touches were great, including the beach/pool toys and the movie library for the evenings in. The communal BBQs were a great place to chat with others while preparing a home-cooked meal. The location was great. Very easy 10-15 min drive to Wailea or 30 min to Lahaina. So many beaches to choose from! It was great working with Ken, and we were really glad to have stayed at this vacation getaway.Owner response: Glad you guys had a great time . Thanks Ken

This was our first stay at Kihei Bay Vista and we LOVED this unit! The location is perfect and convenient to everything. Very quiet and peaceful property. We loved how cozy and comfortable everything in the unit was. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The queen bed was very comfortable and the remodeled bathroom is very nice. We were excited to see that beach toys and snorkel gear were also included! We can't wait to come back to Kihei and rent this unit again soon!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Pack your clothes and leave everything else behind! This condo has it all. Fully equipt kitchen, a family room with all the amenities of home, a master bedroom with the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on, a huge walk-in closet w/iron & ironing board, upgraded bathroom with separate vanity area, huge lania with the best view of any condo there. How's looking right out to the pool, hot tub, bbq's and not to mention - beautifully manicured grounds? Oh, did I mention, the refreshing cross breeze that flows from one end of the condo to the other, the beach toys that are waiting for you to enjoy, the books or cd's stocked in the family room or the 2 plasma tv's? (one in the family room, one in the master bedroom). This condo is clean, well decorated and stocked with everything you will need to enjoy your stay in Kihei.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I can't believe this is the first entry. We've been staying at the Kihei Bay Vista for the last 6 years - last year was the first time at this wonderful apartment and we just loved it. Clean, comfortable, modern electric devices and 2 cable/satellite 40" flat screen TVs (one in living room and one in bedroom) - what else do you need? There was everthing for a splendid holiday - we had grand stay and will certainly come back!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

About the owner: I first visited Maui in 1996 and fell in love with the island. Since then, my wife and I have been visiting every year! It holds a special significance for us since my wife also has family and many friends on Maui. We are excited to share with you our little piece of paradise and have you discover why they say 'Maui no ka oi' (Maui is the best) for yourself.

The minute we walked on to the property and then inside our condo, we knew that this was a place where our hearts could call home. The location, the beautiful grounds, the beach across the street were all just perfect for a relaxing retreat. Kihei is laid back and very 'local', yet has everything you need in close proximity.
