Tubac House is our magical home away from home that we want to share with you! Located in the heart of the premier Tubac Golf Resort, our bedrooms, living room, and large covered patio look East, directly onto the 7th hole of this gorgeous course, then past it, across the Santa Cruz River, and up to 9,500 foot Mount Wrightson and lovely Madera Canyon. We love to have breakfast in the morning flood of sunshine on the patio, while at cocktail hour the mountain is suffused an unbelievable golden pink (residents refer to cocktail hour as "pink time")!
The house is a territorial style, with thick, unfired adobe brick walls, adding warm texture to the home's interior. We added 700 square feet to Tubac House in 2007, giving us three wonderful bedroom suites (all have full baths with privacy doors separating them from the rest of the house). The kitchen and all the bathrooms feature colorful Mexican tile, and our Spanish Colonial decor includes many art pieces by local Tubac artisans.
Tubac House offers comfort, luxury, and the ideal location for instant access to the golf course and the Anza Trail, or a 10 minute walk along the bike path into town (Tubac). The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to whip up a great meal (and the big gas grill on the patio will help you serve a table full of company), or opt for Tubac's numerous casual or fine dining restaurants.
As a courtesy to our renters, bi-monthly housekeeping and laundry are included in our monthly rental fee. This will include new bed linens, towels, and regular dusting, vacuuming, scrubbing and bathroom cleaning.

Jan-Apr: $950/week plus cleaning fee .. $3200/month
May, Oct-Dec: $800/week plus cleaning fee .. $2700/month
Jun, Jul-Sep: $685/week plus cleaning fee .. $1900/month
Security Deposit: $500
Minimum rentals are for 1 week, with preferences given for longer
stay.

We happened upon Tubac in 1994 while on a family vacation to explore Arizona. Incredibly, we returned 7 times over the following 9 years, finally deciding it was time to purchase our future retirement home!
