What a relief it was to settle in to this clean comfortable roomy condo after traveling a grueling 12 hours through stormy weather. The owner could not be more accommodating. Highly recommend this as a destination. Looking forward to visiting Savannah again. Our very favorite tour was the Segway tour, but our stay was too short to allow us to visit/tour any of the historic homes. Loved the Pirate café and the pralines.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The townhouse was very clean and had most everything we needed for our week long visit. No baking pan to make cookies but we quickly found one at a nice Kroger grocery a few blocks away. Quiet neighborhood and good place for a run or walk in the afternoons or mornings. Owner and assistant were professional and quick to respond to any questions. The listed photos accurately show the real property appearance and amenities. One bedroom on the first floor was a real plus. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives. This was our third (and best) visit to Savannah in the past five years and there is always something new to do as well as great places to revisit. Used the DOT free bus and walked to most places around town. Really enjoyed eating at Mrs. Wilkes, Clary's (great breakfast) and Leoci's Trattoria (lunch) on Abercorn St). Day trip to Tybee Island (with dinner at the Crab Shack) was about twenty minutes away. Hilton Head visit (about 1 hour away) with dinner at Hudson's was a lot of fun. We have stayed in many vacation rentals by owners over the past several years and we find the accommodations less expensive, less restrictive and just plain more fun and interesting than a hotel.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We came to Savannah for a long weekend with a bunch of my friends. All 8 or us were able to stay together, it came out cheaper and way more fun than getting hotel rooms. We are all crazy football fans so the huge projector screen and grill made game day AWESOME!!! The town house is pretty large; even though it was 8 of us we didn’t feel crammed. There are plenty of fun bars and good restaurants nearby. It took us a 10 – 15 min walk thru the historic district to get to where most of the bars and restaurants are. My only complaint is that the entertainment system was hard to figure out at first. There are printed instructions though, so once you read them you’re good.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is an large and beautiful townhome which matched the property description and photos perfectly. It is extremely well appointed with all the comforts of a home away from home. We especially enjoyed the remarkable audio and visual system, the large bedrooms with king sized beds, the convenient location for walking the historic squares of Savannah and the ability to park our vehicle in the provided private garage. The property is very well maintained and it is truly an experience of visiting one's home and not renting "an unit" from a large corporation. Both the owner and assistant were available and helpful and took a sincere interest in our satisfaction regarding both the stay at the property and enjoyment of the sights and activities of Savannah. We all love Savannah and staying at this property only enriched our visit. We walked everywhere; dining and beveraging at restaurants throughout the historic district. We particularly enjoyed the Scottish pub on Congress street and the famous Mrs. Wilkes. Cold refreshment places include Six Pence Pub, The Rail and OConnells, noted for its "pickle backs". We took in the Creepy Pub Crawl...always love listening to ghostly tales. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who likes a bit of downtime between Savannah activities. It is a perfect blend of being close to all the action and getting an opportunity to stretch out and relax. It was a great stay and we will be returning.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

This place was perfect for our girls marathon getaway. We could not have asked for a better location to the start and finish of the marathon. We loved that our stay coincided with the SCAD film festival and we could walk to the theatre. The rental was clean, spacious, and private. We enjoyed time on the back patio in the great warm weather we had! The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were large. The owner and management team were helpful in giving us information on the area. We enjoyed the local shopping and the Firefly restaurant's Sunday breakfast menu. We would stay here again - a gem!Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I went to Savannah with my sister and 4 cousins for a girls only weekend. We chose this house because of its size and proximity to historic downtown attractions. The house was exactly like all of the pictures and was well kept. Because everything was in walking distance we were able to park the car and walk or take a taxi to any place on River street. The owner was helpful throughout the booking process and we had no trouble the day that we arrived. I would definitely stay here again!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

I traveled with my daughter for her bachelorette party to this wonderful house. We had a blast! The house was beyond what we expected. The rooms and bathrooms were nice and clean. The huge projector screen was amazing! We also enjoyed the courtyard. One downside to this house is the garage, if you have a SUV. We had trouble getting our Jeep Commander in there. It fit but after many tries and pulling the mirrors in. The kitchen was well stocked. We always took a cab to River and Bay Street but I'm sure you could walk there during the day. We only went there at night.Recommended for: Girls getaway

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful townhome during a recent visit to Savannah. It was even better than we expected! It was very large and spotlessly clean. It was equipped with everything we needed to be comfortable. I especially enjoyed the washer/dryer so we could go home with clean clothes instead of a load of dirty laundry. We also enjoyed the courtyard with its comfortable chairs, dining table and grill. It was also nice to have the garage for off-street parking. It was in the PERFECT location from which to explore this beautiful city. We were able to walk everywhere in town in just a few minutes (except the beach, of course, which was an easy 25 minute drive). We look forward to returning to Savannah, and to this home!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our family was in Savannah for a wedding and this condo (along with the city) met and exceeded every expectation we had! In addition to easy parking, great neighbors, and a great location (so easy to get downtown - especially with the help of pedi-cabs) it was incredibly clean, user-friendly, well cared for, and the landlord was attentive and easy to reach when we had questions (regarding the property or Savannah in general). We also have a 2 and 4 year old, so the impressive theater set-up was a BIG bonus in the evening after some very busy days and the courtyard in the back between the condo and the garage was perfect for breakfast and dinners in with our family.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

This house is as nice as it appears on the website. Our son was married this September in Savannah so we rented this home for a week for our family and the groomsmen. We all enjoyed this large open floor-plan home for all the gathering and entertaining we did of family and friends. The WiFi was a nice bonus along with the large projection screen t.v. where we got to show old fun videos. The owner was very responsive to the website inquiry and his property manager was equally helpful with questions and showing us the home. It is also an easy walk to the Savannah Historic Area which is great. Overall, this house offers details that are of a high quality and I would recommend it for a Savannah stay!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

This house is as nice as it appears on the website! We stayed here in September for our son's wedding along with the groomsmen and it worked out great. The layout is so open and inviting for a group of people and everyone just loved having the WiFi and the large projection screen t.v. The owner was very responsive to the website and the property manager was equally helpful with anything we had a question about. The details of this home are really far beyond what you typically find in a rental property and it made it really fun to entertain our family and friends there while in Savannah for the wedding. The proximity to the historic Savannah area is also really nice. I highly recommend this home.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

My family and I stayed 4 nights at this house during July 2011. Your first impression will depend on which direction you arrive at the house from. If you come from West of the house, you will go through the historic area with really nice, beautiful homes. However, less than 2 blocks to the East are some sketchy looking neighborhoods. That being said, we didn't have any experiences that caused us to be concerned for our safety, etc. You can easily walk through the nicer area to get to the main part of River St in 20 minutes or less. The house itself was terrific! The downstairs is very open and great for hanging out with large families/groups. When this house was renovated, no expense was spared with the granite, nice light fixtures and fancy tub/shower, etc. Everything was very clean and looked great! At one point during our stay I called the owner because we couldn't find extra paper towels and a broom, which ended up being in a locked supply closet. The owner was very accommodating and immediately came over to the house to take care of the issue. Overall, the house is a good value for the location, "niceness" and number of people it sleeps. Both the owner and his assistant were very accommodating/personable.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

My family (all 8 of us) stayed here for 4 nights in June. The location was awesome! It was close enough to walk to River Street and all the sites but still quiet at night. The house was really nice! My kids loved the big TV screen and I loved the kitchen with the stainless appliances. I also really enjoyed the claw foot soaking tub in the master bath. We had planned on eating out every night but we decided to stay in and grill steaks one night because my husband liked the grill and court yard so much. The garage was great too; we heard parking in Savannah can be difficult on weekends. There were only 8 towels in the unit so you may want to bring some extras if you have 8 people staying here and you like to use more than one towel or you're planning to go to the beach. The beach was only about 10 minutes away by the way. Our only complaint was that there wasn't a plunger in the whole house and there was no toaster. The owner did bring a plunger over quickly when we called him though. He was very nice and said he'd leave that one there for future renters. He also gave us some great recommendations on restaurants and things to do in Savannah. Overall, it was a great vacation and the house was a great value for what we paid.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, sightseeing.
Owner response: I just put a plunger and a really nice toaster in the property. Thanks for the suggestions and the great review! Hope to see you again!

We booked this rental for 4 nts over my best friend's birthday and were very much looking forward to it. When we arrived we were greatly disappointed by the accomodations. Some of the issues we had: the back door knob was broken and fell off in our hands; two of the patio chairs were broken and the rest were near broken; the grill was covered in old food, which appeared to be large chunks of chicken; the area rug and carpets were covered in stains; the ceiling fan blades had at least a half inch of dust on them; the walls were filthy indicating general neglect; the shower in one room was broken; the hardwood floors were so dirty that our socks were black within minutes of walking on them. After arrival we contacted the owner about the cleanliness issues and he reluctantly agreed to refund the cleaning fee. He also sent a girl over to clean the grill. When she arrived we were playing a game on the patio and she suggested coming back at another time. We wanted to head out for the evening so we agreed to this, especially since the grill was so dirty that, to clean it properly, would have taken hours. It was that filthy! The following day we woke up and began getting ready to head out and enjoy the city. It was then that the issue with the inoperable shower came up and I promptly contacted the owner. During the conversation with him I made him aware that we wanted to leave; the rental was expensive and we felt stupid paying what we had for a place that didn't even provide the basics of what you expect in accomodations: cleanliness and function. The owner agreed to allow us to check out and, in the process of discussing this, I mentioned that I needed a refund asap as I had paid ahead on my credit card and I didn't have other credit I could use for a new rental/hotel. He then responded in the most rude, ignorant, and unprofessional manner I have ever heard. He said (actual quote) "you mean to tell me you maxed out your credit card with a rental and have no other credit to your name". I was completely appaled and immediately ended the conversation, advising that we were leaving. It took me 2 weeks to get the refund. This experience was so bad that I never intend to book a rental again. Having worked in a huge convention hotel for over 6 years, I know issues can arise. Our issues, however, we due to a lack of maintenance and cleaning in this property. While the owner may have thought the floors and grill were "no big deal", we did. Don't waste your money!Owner response: Please see my other reviews! In over three years of renting this property, every review has been 5 out of 5 stars! Part of these folks' review is accurate but much is not. They did call to complain about the cleanliness and I did send Kim (my cleaning lady) over immediately to address any concerns they might have. The renters then turned Kim away saying that they were "busy playing a game" and didn't want her to clean. Kim offered to come back at a better time for them and they refused. I've been working with Kim for over three years and she is awesome! (Kim did say that she forgot to brush the brill, but I have no doubt that the property was very clean in every other respect). The renters then demanded their cleaning fee to be refunded and an extra night added to their stay for free. If the place was not up to their expectations, why would they want to stay longer? I agreed to refund their cleaning fee in an attempt to make them happy but I could not extend their stay as I had new renters checking in the day they were scheduled to check out. They called again the next morning to complain about the shower faucet and a door knob being "loose". I said I'd have my handyman (who also does a great job) come right over to fix them but they said they had already fixed the items themselves. They then demanded a larger refund because they were so "upset". She became more and more abusive during the conversation and it became clear to me that these folks were just looking for a way to get out of paying for their rental. Rather than continue these games, I told them they could have a full refund but they could not stay in the property. She was literally trying to get a refund for the rental, but stay in the property. Again, why would somebody want to stay somewhere they found so unacceptable? As soon as they checked out, I gave them a full refund (which Paypal confirmed) including the night they had already stayed! Their own credit card company then took the two weeks to post the credit to their account. I honestly feel that these folks posted this review out of anger because they were unable to complain their way in to a free vacation. One of the things I enjoy about owning rental properties is meeting some really great people. The unfortunate reality is that, some people just aren't very nice and try to scam the system. If you rent from me, I'm sure you'll have the same great experience as did all my other renters who left great reviews.

Great spot for a group--we had 3 couples and this unit was very well-suited for our enjoyment. The "Pottery Barn" decor and high end appliances add to the comfort. The location provides easy access to the "tourist" places, yet sits in a quiet residential area. The garage and street parking just outside the unit make it easy for vehicle access. Mike (owner) and Karen (property manager) were very accomodating and helpful.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The location is great, a short walk to River Street and Forsyth Park. Only about a 5 minute walk to one of the trolley pickup points. Open living area and great outdoor patio. Very clean and well kept property. The garage was an added bonus as we didn't drive much once we got there. Mike, the owner of the property was very patient and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone. Bed's were very, very comfortable and the sofas were not bad to sleep on either!! Only small complaint, was not enough coffee cups and wine glasses....but we made it work!! One other point, no dresser or closet in main floor bedroom. Thanks for a great weekend!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: I just bought more wine glasses and coffee cups! I also added a very nice dresser to the third bedroom. Thank you for the suggestions!

I stayed here with my family over the 4th of July holiday. This place is amazing. Having lived in Savannah previously, I still have a lot of friends living in the city, the large, open living area and gorgeous outdoor padio made it perfect for entertaining. It's a short walk to all the attractions like City Market, Forsyth Park, and River Street, but yet it's far enough away to escape the noise of the city and just relax. The ample sized garage provided a safe place to store my car to avoid the parking tickets. The neighborhood was nice too. Very freindly, considerate neighbors. The owner of the property was very patient and helpful with the multiple changes I made to my reservation. We engaged several times over the course of my stay and made everything run smoothly. I would recommend this property to anyone. Absolutely perfect.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
