We just spent the week at the Renewal and had a wonderful vacation. My fiance and I actually live here in Breckenridge and needed some extra space for visitors. We chose the Renewal for it's great location(bus stop just yards away), beautiful views of the slopes, and comfortable/spacious interior. We were even lucky to have nice enough weather to sit outside on the patio and still enjoy the views of the snow covered mountains. The inside of the house is even better than advertised, with plenty of room for ourselves and our guests. The sun room on the side of the house provided a great place to play games, with plenty of room for the family. Scott made the process very easy from start to finish, and we will definitely be staying here again next year!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I, and 12 of our closest friends, recently stayed in this home. We had a fantastic time. It is a very spacious home, and very clean. The room accommodations were very comfortable. The views from the house are incredible. The shuttle is easily accessible (the stop is literally right around the corner), and it pretty much runs around the clock (from ~5am until 1am). We did a great deal of cooking during our stay, and we were very happy to have access to all of the cookware and dishes! That crockpot really came in handy cooking for 12 hungry adults! The hot tub, fireplace, and ping pong table all got plenty of use. I was also very thankful that the owners allow dogs in their home. Our 5 year old chesapeake bay retriever is definitely considered a part of the family, and our trip wouldn't have been the same without her. Thank you for helping us to have such a delightful getaway in the mountains!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The Renewal is a fabulous place to stay for a holiday. We had 3 families (6 adults and 8 kids). Plenty of room, lots of space so the kids (boys vs girls) can be left alone. The house is fantastic. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. We cooked our own meals all 4 nights and never ran out of plates or anything. The hot tub was a big hit for all, with easy to use controls and easy to lift cover. As the reviews stated, the bus stop is not a far walk at all. We had snow for the first 3 days so taking the bus was the way to go. We will certainly come back!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

We had 13 people(3 families) in the home spring break 2013. We really enjoyed the home, sledding down the mountain on the sleds provided by the owner. The hot tub was very enjoyable after a day of skiing. The bus stop was very convinient especially since we had lots of snow and we did not have a four wheel drive vehicle. House very clean and Scott always responded to any questions in a very quick manner.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The house was extremely nice and the owner was very easy to deal with and arrange travel plans. We had a group of 12 and had ample enough room! The house has a great view with its private hot tub which was recently replaced. Location to the mountain was not an issue, short drive! Would definitely be a top place to stay on our next visit to Breckenridge...Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This wonderful log home with the stunning views was everything our family could have hoped for. A true Colorado Mountain Lodge. The hot tub was perfect after a fun day skiing and there were plenty of towels. The Shuttle to the ski resort and downtown area was very convenient. Tons of room for everyone, TV's in all the right places and the gourmet kitchen had everything we needed for great meals. Beautiful home that was very clean, updated and attention to detail was a first class. The owners were great to work with and super responsive. Thanks much and we will be coming back soon!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This home was perfect for our winter vacation!!!!! We couldn't have asked for a better set up and location. The house is more awesome than the pictures are able to portray!!!!!! The views from the house are beautiful and the location was perfect for everyone. We fit 5 families comfortably with probably room for even more. We got alot of use out of the wood burning fireplace and its abundance of available firewood. We were amazed by how much the house was stocked with pots/pans, games, DVDs, and even has a ping pong table. There were even multiple sleds in the garage for the kids to have a wonderful time sledding at nearby Carter park. The large hottub was perfect and relaxing to end the evening after a busy day on the ski slopes. The shuttle stop was a short walking distance from the house to make it convenient for everyone in our group to get to whatever destination they wanted. With all this being said, one of the greatest things about renting this house were the owners. Scott was in constant contact with us and very very easily accessible to make sure our vacation and stay were perfect. I can only hope the house is available for our next trip to Breckenridge!!!!!!!!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

We had a wonderful family vacation over the New Years holiday! The home was very spacious and well appointed with beautiful views and a very convenient location. Easy walking access to the free Breckenridge shuttle made getting around town very convenient. We have two small children (ages 3 and 4) and the house was very kid-friendly. Scott, the owner, was a pleasure to work with as well. We hope to come back again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

This home was wonderful for our Christmas week 2012. We had 10 adults, 2 teens, and 2 small children. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy each others company after the daily activities. The separate poker area was a great social tv area in addtion to the large living rooom with the wood burning stove. Breckenridge was a great location for us to have as our base. The free shuttle was great and it was just a short drive to town when we wanted to go. The skiers got to start and stop their days as they wanted because they could just take the shuttle whenever they were done. We also were able to go to other areas very easily to make the week full of fun and variety. Scott, the owner was very responsive before, during and after our stay. Many of us are already talking about when we can come back and yes we will see if the the Renewal is available. We would definitely recommend this property.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, sightseeing.

Our group of 8 adults had a wonderful time staying at The Renewal. The house is beautiful with gorgeous aspen furniture, lots of amenities and superb views of the mountains. We could have doubled the size of our group and still would have had plenty of space, sleeping room and towels! The pool table, hot tub, horseshoes, games, cards (w/poker chips!) and puzzles left us all with plenty to do at the house and the free shuttle into town was super convenient. We actually did not use the rental car the entire time we were in Breck, but rather took the shuttle into town for Oktoberfest, groceries, etc. We look forward to making this an annual trip.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My family and I had a wonderful time escaping the heat and humidity of Houston, in the adorable town of Breckenridge! The house is great - very spacious, room for everyone. We especially enjoyed hot tubing under the stars.. the pool table downstairs and playing cards on the porch. The views are amazing and waking up to the mountains each day was breathtaking. The kitchen is very well appointed, we found everything we needed. The house is very close to town, and we rode the shuttle several times, we also enjoyed renting bikes, lots of great trails nearby.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

When we found this house on VRBO months ago it was the perfect size for our large family. The booking was easy and the owner so accomodating. We are just getting back from our week and EVERYBODY in the family was so pleased with our choice. We are a family of chefs and were quite impressed with the kitchen and grilling facilities. We enjoyed the deck and wonderful view. The whirlpool bath was wonderful after a day of hiking. I would definitely keep this house and location in mind for future reunions.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners.

The Renewal was a perfect house for our family of 5 adults, one teen, a child and an old yellow lab. We all had space to gather if we wanted yet could get away from one another if need be. The views from the deck where amazing. Love the area in the summer. We hiked several times including Mt. Baldy nearby. We did the bike from top of Vail Pass to Breck and some golfed in Copper. Loved the convenience of the shuttle to town and took advantage of that several times. At home we used the hot tub and the game room to do jigsaw puzzles and watch the olympics. Kitchen was great and we cooked some feasts, one an "Olympic" meal with dishes from many countries. This is a great family home!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, pet owners, sightseeing.

We rented this house and the one next to it for a family reunion and had a great time! The couple that own it are so nice and incredibly helpful. There is plenty of room for gathering large groups of people and plenty of sleeping space as well. It is very close to downtown, but if you don't want to drive, there is a complementary shuttle bus that stops with in about a block of the house. We went to the Peak 8 Fun Park with the kids and had a ball - definately worth the money for an all day pass. The only negative comment I have is that there are quite a few stairs to climb and my 92 year old father (and even the younger folks too) had a tough time getting to the main level, especially with the high altitude. In the mountains though, most houses are going to have multipe levels so you just have to expect that but if you are traveling with elderly or disabled persons, you should keep that in mind.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Renewal. It was just as described. Our granddaughters loved having their own bunk room and had a great time getting in the hot tub. We had plenty of room for our group of 7 adults and 6 children. The house is very convenient to town and there's lots to do in the area. We especially enjoyed the mine tour, hiking Mayflower Gulch, and riding the Georgetown Loop Railroad. We also enjoyed hiking to St. Mary's Glacier near Idaho Springs. We loved The Renewal so much last year, that we had to come back for more. It was just as nice the second time around, and we enjoyed having access to the garage for storage. The house is simply amazing. Fireplace, hot tub, wi-fi, tv, pool table, games and more. The floor plan is great; spacious and private, with views straight out of the movies. Better than the photos. This is a great house to rent to bring friends and family together for a nice ski weekend getaway. Everyone enjoyed the location which gives easy access by shuttle to the slopes and town and there are close hiking/snowshoeing trails just down the road. The property had everything you would need for a great vacation and was clean and very well maintained. It is also dog friendly which made it easy for my friends to come and not have to leave their pooches at home. We had 15 total adults with plenty of room to spare. The hot tub and pool table were perfect apres-ski activities. Thanks for a great vacation location!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, pet owners.

For the past several years I've gone back east to do some riding with friends on small 3/4 day vacations. I finally convinced everyone from back east to come out this way to do some skiing/riding and they're convinced they'll never do a trip back east again. This place was fantastic for our group. We arrived on Thursday afternoon (with some fresh snow on the ground) and the place was ready to go. Everything outside was plowed, shoveled and sanded (with ample amounts of parking). The inside was clean and warm with firewood stacked right next to the wood burning stove. The hot tub was clean and warm and ready to go. With such a large group these little details did not go unnoticed. We didn't have any problems sleeping the 15 people that we had there either. The pictures of the house are spot on and the views are even better. The owners were so responsive to every email/text that we sent them when we did have questions. The shuttle is super close and came pretty often. Some of us (including our dog) did some day hiking while everyone else enjoyed the mountain and downtown Breckenridge. And if you're looking for a nice little restaurant try and track down a place called Angel's Hollow. We ate there and everyone loved it. I would absolutely recommend this place to family and friends. We might even be back there next year if I can get everyone back out this way!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, pet owners, sightseeing.

My group of 12 (six couples in our mid to late 20s) just returned from a fantastic 4-night ski trip at The Renewal in Breckenridge. The property was perfect for us. After a long day of skiing we came back and relaxed in the hot tub, cooked a big dinner in the well-equipped kitchen, and hung out by the fireplace in the living room. Unfortunately, no one slept very well, however this was not the fault of the house but the change in altitude and humidity between Houston and Breckenridge. We appreciated the humidifiers found in the bedroom closets. The shuttle stop is very close and convenient, the views are beautiful, and Scott was a pleasure to work with. We hope to return soon.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house. It was very clean and well stocked. The owners have done all the right things here. We arrived late but easily found the house. The steps and walkway were clear and some lights were on inside. The house is very roomy and comfortable and the layout is very convenient. The view of Breckenridge ski areas is amazing. The owners were very helpful and extremely easy to work with. We cooked most nights in the well supplied kitchen and enjoyed relaxing by the fire and flat screen at night after long days of skiing. The hot tub was terrific for all those aching muscles and was maintained meticulously. There was lots of firewood all ready to go. The bathrooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. We did not use the shuttle but it is very conveniently nearby. The young adults enjoyed the poker chips/cards and the pool table and, of course, the hot tub. Considering all the inquiries I made, I believe I made the best choice when I chose this property/owner.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Outstanding! We arrived after dark and the light was on for us. As we unloaded, we noted how clean and ready for us everything was. I especially liked that the fireplace wood baskets were full and ready to go. It was really helpful that there were written instructions posted in convenient locations to help our stay. Since we were going to be there over Christmas, the owner had purchased a "Kid Friendly" tree, complete with lights and ornaments. As we prepared to gather the family, four children and spouses plus grand children, we had several questions and e-mailed the owner-all questions were immediately answered and if we needed something, it was there when we arrived, including new snow saucers. I can say the beds were among the best that we have ever found in rental property, and lots of pillows too! The layout is such that there is plenty of room to get everyone together and yet if someone needs an escape, there is ample room to do that too. The hot tub got a good workout and there was never a shortage of towels-washer and dryer with soap were readily available too. We had a medium snow storm one night and the drive was plowed early the next morning-really very thoughtful. We used the garage to store skiis and snowboards and there was still room for a medium sized RV too. We contracted a professional chef to come in and prepare New Years eve dinner. Although he brought all of his required equipment, he said that he didn't really need much of it because the kitchen was so well equipped. During the course of our stay, we e-mailed back and forth with several questions and the answers all came back within a very reasonable short time. We really had the place to ourselves and it was a fact that the owner wanted us to have a great time and was there to help us in any way possible without being under foot in any way. We were so pleased with eveything that we have already mentioned that we are considering Christmas 2012. Would we recommend this? Without reservation!! The family said that this trip would be hard to top and that the cabin made it a huge success.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The Renewal provided a great setting for our family gathering during Thanksgiving week. We traveled from Ohio; Tampa, Florida; Denver and San Francisco and found the home to be just as pictured and described on VRBO - comfortable, convenient and very clean, well equipped and maintained. There is plenty of sleeping space and the beds are beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and provided everything we needed to prepare a Thanksgiving feast. The owner was great to work with through all aspects of the reservation and rental process and allowed our family pet, a Golden Retriever, to join us for our vacation. The owner responded very quickly to the few questions that we had and our security deposit was promptly refunded. The shuttle to town and the slopes is very convenient to this home. We would definitely recommend this property to others and will return if our future vacation plans bring us back to Breckenridge.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet owners, sightseeing.

Wow! What a great place and facility. It was even better than advertised. There were only four of us but you could take the entire football team and stay comfortably. There's a pool table below and even a poker room with a tv. The setting is gorgeous with a mountain view out the kitchen window and living area double door. We went in the summer to escape the heat but I'm sure it would be great in the winter for skiing. The house is up the mountain overlooking Breckenridge and has a free bus service into the village. The beds are comfortable and the furniture, as well. We look forward to going back soon and will be taking a full crew with us. Two brothers and their families (total 4 adults and 5 kids ages 11-20) stayed from 8/11-8/14. House absolutely found to be as shown and described. The mountain view was fantastic and the Heavens scheduled nightly meteor showers during our visit which we enjoyed from the large middle story deck. Our group had plenty of room to spread out between the three floors, with the kids sleeping on the ground floor and the adults in the upstairs bedrooms. The washer/dryer is in the middle floor bathroom right by the kitchen, which was convenient in the evenings. Owner was very helpful and responsive before and during our stay and our security deposit was returned quickly. We would definitely recommend this property, especially to families traveling with teenagers.Recommended for: Families with teenagers

We booked the "Renewal" to celebrate our Marriage vow renewal and our 50th wedding anniversery. The occasion served as a family reunion. In all, the house served to bed 14 of us and provide for an outstanding backdrop to our vow and reception gathering of 34 people. The listing description was accurate and all photos reflected the appearance and amenities. The property was found clean, well maintained and well equipped. The owner was very responsive and helpful in answering all questions. We found plenty to occupy children of all ages. Besides the number of TV's, hot tub and pool table, games and puzzles were in abundance. Breckenridge, in the summer, has a lot going on. Music festivals, NRO concerts, many top caliber restaurants and the mid-mountain amusement park in the ski area to name a few. We would certainly book it again and we recommend it to others.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

This was the 2nd summer for our family in Breckenridge and at this property, The Renewal and we love it. The summers in Summit County are fantastic and escaping from summer heat in Texas is always a welcome break! Great family times and wonderful memories are always made up there. The owners are easy to deal with and the house really comfortable, spacious and clean. We will be back.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Every bit of this summer vacation experience was positive from start to finish. My husband and I were fortunate enough to spend 13 days at the Renewal, with many of our family joining us for 9 of those days. There were 14 of us in all....11 adults, 2 teenagers, a 3 year old, and 2 maltese dogs. All of us from Illinois were looking forward to fresh mountain air and views other than cornfields and crooked politicians. Okay, this is what you need to know about this home and the owners...the house is beautiful but very comfortable and warm, the pictures don't do it justice. With so many people you would think we'd be crowded, but not in the least. The way this house is laid out there is plenty of space to spread out on the 3 levels. The views from the huge deck are unbelievable, and can also be seen from the awesome hot tub. We had never stayed on that side of Breckenridge and now know what we were missing. The house is well appointed with anything you could possibly need. Our favorite room was the poker room where we had nightly card games and played Rummikub. The owners were wonderful to work with on all aspects...extremely responsive, very nice, and helpful. Security deposit was received in less than a week. The Renewal is a very fitting name for this gorgeous log home. I relied on these positive reviews when making my vacation choice, and am very happy to write about my own experience. One word of advice...the elevation is above 10,000 ft, so plan to take it easy those first few days or get in shape before arrival!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway.

We spent a wonderful week in Breckenridge living in this house with 2 other families. We are all from Florida and we were looking forward to some cool air and breathtaking mountain views. Were we pleased? Even if we were gasping for air during the first 2 days, OF COURSE ! We were even blessed with a bonus --- snow for one day! Something we didn't expect in June. Our children had the time of their lives waking up to falling snow, and they spent the day making snowballs, having snowball fights, and building their first snowman. We will never experience this in FL. The home is fully equipped and felt like your own home. There was enough space for everyone and the children did not get bored. Board games, the pool table, and playing cards kept them busy. The owners are very nice and quick to respond. You couldn't ask for anything more. Our security deposit was also returned within 1 week. We definitely recommend this home and we look forward to another vacation in the Renewal.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

This was, by far, the nicest place we've stayed on a ski vacation. The house is spacious, welcoming and has breathtaking views. There were plenty of places for the kids to play and hang out, without disturbing the adults in the group...Not that they needed it, as fresh snow provided a playground of its own! The yard was a wonderland for tunnels and forts. The hot tub was great for the tired and weary. Updated kitchen and baths complete the package. Pool table, hot tub, wi-fi, laundry, fireplace, vaulted ceilings, decks, peace and quiet; Who could ask for anything more? A couple of blocks from the shuttle stop, 10 minutes to the sledding hill and gondola. Did I mention the views? The pictures don't do it justice. The owners were terrific too! You can tell they use it themselves, and care very much about the property. "The Renewal" is a fitting name for this fabulous retreat.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We recently stayed here for a week long ski vacation. The owner's description of the house is accurate and upon our arrival the house was spotless and well maintained. Everything about the house exceeded our expectations. The living room area is large and open with great views of the Breckenridge ski slopes. There is also a large wooden deck off of the 2nd floor living and dining room with plenty of space to sit, enjoy the view and 'hang out.' The kitchen and dining room open up to the living room and have been updated with granite and hardwood floors. There was plenty of space for the kids to have their own space downstairs with a full bathroom, two bedrooms (one room has two sets of bunk beds) and a pool table. On the 2nd floor there is a bedroom with a king sized bed and a full bathroom with full sized washer and dryer. On the 3rd floor there was a king sized bed in one bedroom, a queen sized bed in another room, a full bathroom and a fold out couch in a loft area. There is also a hot tub on the 1st floor deck with great views. The house has wifi. It took us less than 10 minutes from the driveway to the gondola for the ski slopes. There was plenty of space on the 1st floor area for all ski 'stuff' without any of it being in the way. The owner was easy to deal with and answered all of our questions. I would do business with him again without a question. This was a very nice place to stay with a lot of kids and adults without feeling crowded and everyone having plenty of space.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a group of 8 people (guys) at the house in late February of 2011 and found this place to be everything that is advertised! We had 4- 55 year olds and 4 - 25 year olds and it appealed to all of us. An excellent location and view, with everything you could want or need to enjoy the trip. We used the pool table, hot tub, cooked in the kitchen, played cards in the heated porch (poker room) overlooking the Breckenridge. There we plenty of flat screen TV's and wireless internet. We each had our own bed and plenty of bathrooms, linens, cookware, basic supplies, etc. We were able to use the garage to store our skis/boards at night and load up quickly and easily in the morning. Plenty of parking for our vehicles. When it was time to leave, there was very little to do. We would (and will) stay here again. The security deposit was returned promptly (within one week).Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The perfect place to unwind after a day of skiing. Large, comfortable home with enough room to relax while enjoying the awesome view of the slopes. Downstairs was perfect for my 2 teenagers. They were in heaven with 2 seperate bedrooms, a pool table, hot tub and their own bathroom. They didn't have a TV, but kept themselves busy with Wifi on their ipads. The main floor had another bedroom and separate bathroom, as well as a cozy living room. It's hard to beat relaxing in a comfy sofa under a huge vaulted ceiling, with a fire crackling, while looking at the slopes of Breckenridge. The master bedroom/bath was upstairs with another separate bedroom. If that wasn't enough, there was another lounge area with a tv and another balcony. A nice place to spend a quiet moment alone to reflect on the great day skiing, or just to read a book. The entire top floor has a peaceful view of the area and the main floor below. Drawbacks are few. Home is located just over 10,000 ft, so running up and down the stairs is out of the question. The garage is used by owner, so vehicles are parked outside on large driveway shared with neighbor. We don't get much snow where we're from, so dusting off vehicles in the morning was part of the experience. (My kids actually piled snow on our SUVs when it didn't snow overnight) Major drawback was my vacation there was too short! Owner was extremly helpful and pleasant to deal with. All my questions were answered quickly and honestly. Would I return...heck yeah! Would I recommend this home to others...No! I want this place all to myself!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.
Owner response: Thanks for the comments and we look forward to your return...by the way by next winter the garage will be opened back up for guest usage!

We had a lovely time at the Renewal in August, 2010. We stayed for 10 comfortable days with our 3 kids and dog, and felt totally at home. There was plenty of room (could have easily had another 5 people and fit in without difficulty). The description and pictures of the home are accurate, the property was clean and well-maintained, and the owner was friendly and responsive to all of our questions and requests. The shuttle into town was easy to use, which we did often. There are stairs to climb, so wouldn't recommend it for folks who can't walk well. Also, remember the town of Breckenridge is at an elevation of over 9,000. Great views of the mountains from an expansive deck, wonderful sunsets, I would definitely recommend this property!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners, sightseeing.

We stayed for a week and had a fabulous time. The home was plenty big for two families (10 people total). We had kids ranging from 8-17 and all loved it! Lots of good hiking trails near the cabin, great deck for hanging in the sun and grilling, and we all loved the hot tub. Super comfy beds and a good kitchen to cook in - even with lots of chefs! Owner is so nice and accommodating. And our lab loved it too!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thanks for staying with us, glad you had a great time come back and see us next summer to get out of the heat again!

Very much enjoyed our week's stay in July 2010. Plenty of room for all the family. Enjoyed the "retreat" game room, hot tub and pool table. Very high on the mountain with spectacular view. Thanks to the owner for his pre-vacation phone call with instructions and information. 2 upstairs bedrooms and loft sitting room have only 1 bathroom, accessible only from one of the bedrooms.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

We enjoyed a great week in Breckenridge. So much to do around town...hard to beat Colorado in the summer. The house was perfect, plenty of space whether for one family or two, and the views overlooking town and the slopes were beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck early in the morning while the kids played in the woods, as well as watching the sunset while cooking out. The large hot tub was a treat as well. The owners were very nice and easy to work with. We are definitely coming back.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed for 6 days during Father's Day weekend with our family and really enjoyed the time. We are from the Denver area so we didn't have any altitude problems. We recommend this place for its convenient location.Recommended for: Families with teenagers
