Closest Greens Villa on VRBO to the beach!!! Recently renovated. Just 5 minute walk to the Beach! Free Wi/Fi and 4 Bikes! New Granite Countertops in the Kitchen May 2011. See our video of the property to the left of this text behind the Photos tab.

Our villa has just been renovated, new TVs, furniture, linens and other furnishings as well as a recently repainted kitchen with new granite countertops.

New BEDS! We purchased the unit in Sept 2009 and after sleeping in the beds for one week, we decided that we wouldn't want to sleep on them for a vacation... so in May 2010 we purchased all new mattresses, including a high quality pillow top mattress for the king bed. We have vacationed in many places and having a comfortable mattress makes all the difference in the world.

109 The Greens is in the closest Greens building to the Shipyard Beach Club and directly across the street from the Van der Meer Tennis Center. The villa is located on the 6th green of the Galleon course of Shipyard golf club (discounted multi-day Golf packages available through Heritage golf group). The white, sandy beach is a five minute walk via a shady, protected path. No need to cross any streets, just walk out the front door directly to the beach path! There is a private community pool exclusively for The Greens guests. The four star Crowne Plaza is a two minute walk and has a great pool bar as well as delicious dining. You can relax at the best location in The Greens!!

This 2 bedroom/2.5 bath, 1,400 sq. ft. villa has great natural light and all you will need for wonderful family vacations. High-Speed Wireless internet access and local and long-distance calling (domestic US only) are provided free of charge. This villa was updated in the fall of 2009 and is designer furnished with all new furniture. A fresh coat of paint was recently applied. Also new- 3 Flat Screen TVs! Included are 4 beach chairs and 4 Beach Cruiser bikes for your use as well.

On the lower level, you'll enjoy a spacious living room with a 37 inch flat screen TV, DVD player and IPOD compatible stereo system. There is a 19 inch Flat Screen, DVD and Playstation 2 in the Nook off the kitchen. The living room also includes a comfortable sleeper sofa. A dining table easily seats 6 for those family card games. The fully equipped kitchen includes microwave, coffee maker and recently updated appliances.

The living room has two large sets of sliding glass doors that lead to a new, private outdoor deck. You will enjoy a scenic view of the 6th Green. A great place to relax and cook dinner on the gas grill! The deck also includes a two person rocker/glider and an outdoor table with seating for four to enjoy meals.

Upstairs, the ample master bedroom is completed by a walk-in closet, king sized bed and 37 inch Flat Screen TV with DVD player. The second bedroom has two twin beds and two double closets as well as a 22 inch flat screen TV with DVD player. Both bedrooms have private baths. The full-sized washer/dryer combination is conveniently located upstairs as well.

This two story villa has the desirable benefit of being within the private, gated community of Shipyard Plantation, which is security patrolled. Inside the secluded Shipyard Plantation, there are 27 holes of Championship Golf, 20 courts (13 clay and 7 hard) at the world-renowned Van der Meer Tennis Center, a beautiful beach, and miles of lighted walking/biking paths.

                        We just came home from a wonderful week! The accommodations were perfect...loved that there was a 2nd floor with the bedrooms (like a home away from home). We also loved the 'extras' that this villa comes with...the bikes/baskets, boogie board, playstation etc. The location couldn't be better...right on the bike trail and a literal 2 minute bike ride to the ocean. Kent was helpful with all my questions and communicated all info thoroughly. We can't wait to visit HHI again!!!

                        Great stay at this unit located in The Greens in December 2010! Great location....very short walk to the beach (5 mins) and pool (2 mins). The villa is a 2 minute car ride to Pope Ave and all of the related shopping and restaurants. Great view of the golf course from the back deck. The owner was very easy to work with and the communications were clear and concise. Having the four bikes for our personal use was a major benefit. Shipyard is a great place to ride bikes and see all of the wildlife. The villa was extremely clean and well kept. This unit was the nicest decorated villa in Hilton Head we had every stayed at. The beds were extremely comfortable and we will definitely book here again!

                        I had never rented through VRBO and wasn't sure what to expect but my husband, my son and I spent a fantastic vacation at the villa we rented. When we arrived, there had been a mix up and the unit had not been cleaned after the previous guests. I called the owner and he immediately called his cleaning service and they were there within the hour. Everything went smoothly after that. The unit is reasonably priced, beautifully decorated, the furniture and beds are very comfortable and everything and anything you could think of was available to you....a complete kitchen with a dish washer, washer and dryer, books, games, a TV in each BR and a large one in the LR, 4 bikes, rafts and chairs to use at beach, etc. We have been to Hilton Head many times but we particularly enjoyed this stay because of the location of the villa and its proximity to the beach and the pool (it was a short walk to either one). We would definitely stay at this unit again and we would highly recommend it to others...we were very pleased."

                        We found this property to be one of the better ones we have stayed at on the island. After vacationing in HHI for over ten years this was a memorable vacation. The owners were very easy to work with and included a lot of extras that were beneficial to our vacation. (bikes, beach equipment, and grill) The units location also allowed our kids to take a golf cart to the beach (offered by the beach club), while I walked our stuff down, which was a short walk. This was convenient because we did not have to search for parking or drive our car like with other properties we have stayed in the past.

                        Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

                        Very close to the beach. Short easy walk. Unit looks the same in person July 2010 as is does on the website. Very nice furniture, decorations, and clean. Owner was easy to work with. The bikes are a big plus. Would highly recommend.

                        Great location, convenient to everything. Available bikes were a big help. Loved overlooking the golf course, especially with the afternoon sun on the patio with a glass of wine. Great weather allowed us to go to the beach each day. Had to get an additional parking pass, and Kent was very helpful. The unit was clean and well maintained, everything needed for cooking etc., was available in the kitchen. Would definitely recommend the unit and would put this unit at the top of the list when we go back to Hilton Head!

                        We were very pleased with the accommodations at 109 The Greens and enjoyed our stay on beautiful Hilton Head Islands. The condo is very nicely furnished and exceptionally neat and clean. The view of the green from the livingroom and patio is great. We especially appreciated the gas grill and the bikes. The location is great with easy access to beach, bike trails, golf and shopping. Kent is very nice to communicate with and gives great instructions as to the area and the condo. We highly recommend it for a great vacation.

                        We had a wonderful week at the villa. Kent, the owner, has been fantastic from the beginning all the way through and even until after we returned home. Their communication was excellent as all questions/comments/concerns were responded to immediately. The villa itself is amazing. The location of The Greens is so close to the beach that we could easily walk or take our bikes. Kent truly thought of everything for the villa from labeling the confusing light switches (attic light, garbage disposal, etc.) to providing starter supplies, to really giving renters that home away from home feeling. The instruction package to the villa is very clear and informative. The villa was very clean, and the decoration was beautiful. All the stuff that was provided for us in the outdoor storage closet was really great. The bikes are in very good condition. I would definitely rent again from Kent. Thanks again for a truly wonderful Hilton Head Island experience!

                      109 The Greens is located in the Shipyard Plantation, 113 Shipyard Drive, Hilton Head, SC, 29928. Phone #843-341-3120. 1. CHECK-IN TIME IS AFTER 4 P.M. EST AND CHECK-OUT IS 10 A.M. EST. NO Early Check-in or late check-out. 2. This is a NON SMOKING unit. 3. Pets are not permitted in rental units under any conditions. 4. DAMAGE/RESERVATION DEPOSIT- A damage/reservation deposit of $250 is required. This must be received within seven (7) days of booking the reservation. The deposit automatically converts to a security/damage deposit upon arrival. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within (14) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met. a. No damage is done to unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear. b. No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay. c. All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in trash bins outside the unit, and soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and cleaned. d. All keys are left in the lockbox and unit is left locked. e. All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure. f. No linens are lost or damaged. g. NO Early check-in or late check-out. h. Parking passes are dropped at the guard gate upon departure. i. The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), the local law enforcement, the security company employed by Shipyard Plantation. 5. PAYMENT – An advance payment equal to 50% of the rental rate is required 60 days before arrival. The advance payment will be applied toward the room rent. Please make payments in the form of traveler's checks, bank money orders, cashiers checks or personal checks payable to Kent Renner. The advance payment is not a damage deposit. The BALANCE OF RENT is due thirty (30) days before your arrival date. 6. CANCELLATIONS – A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and damage/reservation deposit. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. 7. MONTHLY RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS – Monthly renters must cancel one hundred twenty (120) days prior to check-in. Monthly renters who make a change that results in a shortened stay must be made at least ninety (90) days prior to check-in. 8. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY- The maximum number of guests per condominium is limited to six (6) persons. An additional charge or $10.00 per person per night for guests in addition to six (6) will be assessed. THIS PROPERTY REQUIRES A THREE (3) NIGHT MINIMUM STAY. 9. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods. If a rental is taken for less than three days, the guest will be charged the three-night rate. 10. INCLUSIVE FEES – Rates include a one-time linen-towel setup. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate. 11. NO DAILY MAID SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate however is available at an additional rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units. 12. RATE CHANGES – Rates subject to change without notice. 13. LONG DISTANCE CALLING - Only Domestic long distance charges are free of charge. All other charges incurred will be the responsibility of the renter. 13. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in. 14. WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance. 15. PARKING PASSES – Parking passes will be waiting for you at the Hwy 278 Gate. Renters must display parking pass at all times. Failure to display may result in towing of vehicle at renter's expense. 16.HURRICANE OR STORM POLICY – No refunds will be given unless: a. The National Weather Service orders mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or b. A "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest. The day that the National Weather Service orders a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning," area, we will refund: 1. Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered, 2. Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten their stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and 3. Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period. 17. LIABILITY - This condominium is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities and renter agrees to release and hold owner harmless from such accidents, injuries or illness regardless of the cause or negligence of owners, excluding claims for gross negligence of owners. The owners are not responsible for the loss, theft or damage of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. 18. LEGAL – any claims relating to or arising from this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina. I agree that all rental monies are non-refundable per cancellation policy above. I have read my rights to purchase travel insurance.
