Our beautiful 1700 sq ft. vacation home is spacious, light and airy with high cathedral ceilings. The main living room wall is glass with a spectacular white-water ocean view of historic Doheny Beach from inside the house. Double glass doors from the living room open onto a 250 sq ft. foot deck overlooking the ocean. The deck is fully covered with a retractable awning for sun protection when needed.
Casa Elevado is located on a cul-de-sac which has been designated as a ‘view-fare’ by the City of Dana Point. By far, the best view of any home in the area. The house also features a mini outside BBQ deck and dining area with a full ocean view. The home has a modern granite kitchen and baths. This is a great house for a summer cocktail party. Easily accommodates 20-25 party-goers.
Perfectly located for any Southern California adventure or business trip. Literally 1 minute to Interstate 5, you can drive to San Diego (South) in 1 hour or head to Los Angeles (North), also in 1 hour. You can get to the Dodgers, Angels, Padres, Chargers, USC, UCLA, Lakers, Disneyland, Universal Studios, Hollywood, LegoLand, Knott's Berry Farm, San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Sea World and much more in 1 hour or less! Enjoy World Class shopping at South Coast Plaza or Newport Fashion Island, both just 20 minutes away.
Kid and Pet friendly, you will be within walking distance to Doheny Beach, Dana Point Harbor and numerous parks where pets are welcome. There is a secluded pet park with an ocean view less than 100 feet from the home. Nearby are fabulous Salt Creek and Trestles beaches, home to many world championship surfing contests. Why the Owner Chose Doheny Beach
We have lived and vacationed in Dana Point for 20 years. Dana Point was still fairly small and quaint when we first came here. It is still relatively small with about 35,000 residents. Even though Dana Point has become a world-wide destination for vacationers, it still has a small town feel and friendliness. Visitors are truly welcome here. Quite a number of celebrities come to Dana Point for quiet, undisturbed vacations. That's why we bought a vacation home here.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We love the awesome ocean view. Once a month the full moon rises and lights up the water at Doheny beach. We sit on the deck in awe every time - it is truly spectacular. We also like the close proximity to so many things. We can get to San Diego or Los Angeles for dining or events in just 1 hour. Our favorite thing is to spend a quiet day at Salt Creek beach. It's just beautiful. Probably what we enjoy most is sharing our vacation home with others. Everybody loves it - it is so relaxing and just has good energy. It is a great house for a summer cocktail party.
Whale watching in Dana Point happens year around. Gray whales abound during winter months. The larger Blue whales come during the summer months.
1 hour south of Dana Point. Site of many attractions: San Diego Zoo, Gaslamp District and Petco Park
1 hour north of Dana Point. Enjoy Hollywood, Universal Studios, Dodgers, Lakers.
Take a day trip or stay overnight in romantic Catalina. Only 26 miles from Dana Point. Boats leave several times each day from Dana Point to Catalina.
