We live in Honolulu, Hawaii. My husband is a Bartender and I am an Office Manager. We plan to spend half a year in the Philippines and half a year in the US when we retire which is in about 10 years or so. The house is our second home/vacation home until retirement.
Why the Owner Chose Manila
The Italian design of the houses and the close proximity to the airport. The shopping centers such as Festival Mall, Alabang Town Center, and Las Pinas Shoemart are 10 minutes away. Hospitals and schools are also nearby and of course the availability of house help at the time of retirement. There is also the 24/7 security.
The Unique Benefits of this House
It is a "Dream House" literally. The idea of a prayer room and the dining table design came from a dream. You can walk to Fernbrook Chapel for "simbang gabi" (early morning mass). All the benefits of American living is in this community. The development includes a huge swimming pool, basketball court and other recreation facilities located at Parco de Portofino. Leisurely walk is not only healthy but pleasing to the eyes like walking around your garden.
