Beautiful studio apartment with terrace located at the back of a quiet courtyard, within walking distance to the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysées but away from the bustle of the street. Wrought iron gate leads you up a wooden spiral staircase to the 2nd floor apartment which is flooded with light; huge windows open to the serene cobbled courtyard; hardwood floors, beautifully painted, exquisitely furnished, modern kitchen and bath, lush terrace perfect for outdoor meals or drinks.
Officially a studio since there is no door to the bedroom area but there is plenty of closet space, and en suite bathroom with separate toilet. Bed is a modern Murphy bed of the highest workmanship, extremely comfortable mattress. Bed can be folded away into wall for additional space. About 600 sq feet, not counting the terrace.
Conveniently located near Metro line 2 (Ternes) and RER A (Etoile), as well as airport buses. Steps away from the best baguettes in the city (across the street)!
Perfect for a romantic Parisian getaway, or a quiet place to live/work. You won't find a more classy, clean or well-maintained accommodation in the city of light!

My husband and I stayed in this very lovely apartment in late May, early June 2011, and while this review is quite late our sentiments are very genuine. We spent 9 days in this apartment and fell in LOVE! We just gush when we tell our friends about the lovely setting, the quiet courtyard, the well-appointed kitchen, the modern bathroom, and the dreamy bed! We were so impressed by the Murphy Bed we returned home and installed one in our guestroom. Jek could not have been more helpful and accommodating, and Fabienne checked in right away to be sure we were well settled. The area is full of markets, shops, parks, historic sites, and "must visit" bakeries. We are hoping to return to this very apartment in the not too distant future, as it felt immediately like we were at "home". To be completely honest, the Paris restaurants suffered during our stay as we preferred to buy our own groceries and create our own gourmet meals (dining alfresco as often as possible). We also had many out-of-Paris excursions planned, but we were so enamored by the walking tour options we found in a tour guide on the shelves in the apartment that we only ventured as far as Vincennes and Versailles. By the way, this was my 40th trip to Paris (I am a former French teacher) and I would have to say it was one of the most memorable!!!!! Merci mille fois, Claire!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

I stayed at this lovely apartment in July. It is exactly as pictured, perfectly comfortable and immaculate. The pulldown bed was easy to use. The apartment had everything I needed and the terrace was a terrific bonus. The owner was excellent to deal with and very professional. Great location. I will be happy to come back again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car.

This was our first time in Paris. This Apt. made our trip. The location was perfect and the atmosphere was perfect. I got sick the second day and we hung out at the Apt. All day. It was comfortable and beautiful. To me it was so French. The location is great. We had breakfast in the Apt. every morning. The weather was nice. My husband would walk across the street where the bread and pastries were so great. We would open the big windows and just take in the smell of fresh baked bread. The bed was really comfortable. It's a Murphy bed and my husband wasn't happy. He thought it was going to be terrible but it was better then our bed at home. We took picture to show our family and friends and everybody wants to stay there. I think this Apt. made our trip. I recommend this Apt. To everyone.......Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

We stayed at the LePinchon apartment from Arpil 25 to May 1, 2011. My wife and I were celebrating our 25 wedding anniversary. TGhe apartment is exactly as you see it in the pictures. Extremely well equiped and centrally located. 10 minute walk to the Arc de Truimphe and the Charles De Gaulle Etoile metro station. A wonderfull street market on Rue Poncelet, (cheese, wine, some cold cuts and some olives and were were all set). Dont forget the fresh bagettes right across the street. We ate breakfast every morning and we finished every day with a night cap every night on the terrace. What a bonus. The unit is very quiet depsite being on a busy street, which is bustling with restaurants and shops. We were met by Jek who showed us around and was extremely helpfull. Also Fabienne made us feel right at home. We hope to return someday.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

This apartment is lovely and a great alternative to a hotel. You open the security door, and there is a lovely courtyard. Very French! The apartment is on a busy street, but it is set back from the street and very quiet. There are great restaurants literally right outside the door. We ate at Cesar's (around the corner), Hippopotamus, and the bakery across the street. They were all delicious! The apartment is very near the Ternes metro stop which we used all of the time. I am telling my friends about this great place! I would definitely stay here again! Renters should be aware that the bed is only a double size, and there are 2 flights of circular stairs. If those details don't worry you, definitely stay at this apartment.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car.

We stayed at the Pichon apartment in October. The location was excellent. We especially loved going to the market on rue Poncelet (we went there almost every day!). The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and spacious. We appreciated the roomy bathroom with lots of hot water. There is ample storage in the apartment as well. The big windows opened so it was airy and light, and the heat worked well on cold nights -- it was very cozy. The kitchen is small but has nice modern appliances. The apartment is very centrally located on a big, busy street, but it is at the back of a residential courtyard and it is very quiet and serene. It is just a short walk to the Etoile and the Arc de Triomphe, the Salle Pleyel, and the beautiful Parc Monceau. It is very close to 4 metro lines. We enjoyed our stay here and would rent it again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car.

We stayed for almost two weeks in this apartment and felt it was perfect for us. As others have said a bakery and open market very close. The apartment is as shown on the internet site. We loved having a patio and had a glass of wine out there everyday. The area is quiet and yet right outside your door, everything you need for a great stay in Paris. The bed was very comfortable and easy to work, the linens very nice. We would definitely stay again if in Paris.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car.

My husband and I recently stayed in this apartment and found it a wonderful way to enjoy Paris. The location was perfect for us-steps from the Metro, and walking distance to many of the sights of the city. We were there to see the Tour de France and it was 5 minutes walk from the Champs Elysee. The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures, very clean and charming furnishings, and the terrace was lovely. It was wonderfully quiet and peaceful, amazing as it was right off a busy street. The murphy bed was very comfortable. I would recommend this unit and would happily stay there again. This is the way to see Paris!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

My husband and I stayed at this apartment from May 9 to May 17 2010. We absolutely loved the apartment and the location. We scoped out the area on Google Earth first so we knew exactly what the block looked like. It was perfect when we came out of the Ternes Metro stop and saw the Brasserie Lorraine right there - we knew we were in the right place. The block is very nice with a choice of restaurants, a grocery and many stores within walking distance. One of the best amenities is the rue Poncelet street market that seems to be open every day. It's barely a block away and has awesome produce, bread, cheese and both raw and prepared meats. My husband and I grabbed a baguette, cooked sausage and some cheese and we were all set! In case you don't have a map when you first get there - to get to the market go to the circle where the Ternes Metro is, look across the way and you will see a HSBC bank, rue Poncelet is off of Avenue des Ternes just passed the HSBC on the same side. There is a fully stocked grocery store about a block and a half away - make a right out of the apartment and go to Avenue Hoche (there's a brasserie called Do Re Mi on the corner - we went there on Sunday and it was nice, sunny too!) - the grocery store is halfway down the block on the right, I think it was called Fran Marche. Of course it's closed on Sunday. One of the best things about the apartment is its proximity to the Charles de Gaulle - Etoile Metro station. There are four lines that run through this station and whether you wanted to head north, south, east or west you are able to get there in a jiffy. Lastly, regarding the apartment itself. It is bright, airy, clean, well appointed and quiet. The owner and manager were an absolute pleasure to deal with. We had a plane delay and then our phone didn't work so we weren't able to call. The manager must have waited for us for over three hours - but when we got to the apartment there he was! We brought an international phone card from the USA and it worked with no problem. The apartment also has wireless and that worked without a hitch as well. Having the washer/dryer was helpful since it was colder than we anticipated - we kept washing the limited warm clothes we had. The Murphy bed was firmer than I like ... but honestly I like beds that are really soft, most of the public at large would be happy with it. All in all - I would recommend this apartment to anyone without hesitation and I would love to return.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
