Mountain Splendor located at Outrageous Cabins in Pigeon Forge—The perfect name for this 2 story 1 bedroom cabin with amazing, breathtaking 180 degree views of Mt. LeConte. This cabin was the first cabin built in Starrcrest. Year after year Mountain Splendor along with Barely Awake are the highest occupied cabins in the resort. Absolutely the most incredible views in Starrcrest. Starrcrest has 132 cabins in the resort. The directions to Mountain Splendor is to drive up to the top of the mountain. The first feelings will be WOW what an incredible view. The next question asked is I wish we could be staying their. The cabin you will be pointing at will be Mountain Splendor. We have the cleanest cabins in Pigeon Forge and sparkling clean windows for your views. The cabin has seven coats of stain which gives a nice warm shiny glow.
As you enter the cabin, the first thing you will notice is that the owner spared no expense. The full kitchen features stainless steel appliances which include refrigerator/ice maker, stove, microwave, and dish-washer. You will also find a blender, coffee maker, Cuisinart cookware and more, all that is necessary to prepare a gourmet meal for two or a hot, satisfying family meal. You will feel as if you are dining on the top of the mountain as you sit at the beautiful dining table with the splendid mountain views all around you.
Snuggle on the sofa in front of the fireplace and watch a movie or retire to the master bedroom where you will find the most comfortable Sterns& Foster pillowtop king bed. The master bedroom also has its own adjoining full bathroom with tub and shower.
Upstairs in the loft area, you will be greeted with even more breathtaking mountain views from the floor to ceiling windows. You will also find one of the best equipped game rooms in the area, outfitted with a pool table, air hockey, PlayStation 2, X-box 360 console, as well as the new PlayStation 3. For your enjoyment, the loft also has a stereo and CD-player, and a second bathroom featuring a 2 person Jacuzzi tub and a heated towel rack for added luxury and enjoyment.
Oh and did we mention the views? Well we really can’t stress them enough. Imagine sitting in the hot tub with mountain splendor all around you! That is exactly what you will get when you soak in this hot tub!
Starrcrest is located just two miles from the parkway. Listen to the Dollywood train whistles. Dollywood and Starrcrest share the same property line. We are located 1 mile from Dollywood entrance.

We had a fabulous time. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and very spacious. It looked better than what was pictured on the website. Having the game room up in the loft was perfect. It made down time very enjoyable for adults as well as children. There were plenty of towels. The kitchen was well stocked. About the owner: We own 29 cabins in the Starr Crest Resort. I bought these cabins because I love the area and know that others will too. My goal is to provide luxury cabin rentals at affordable prices. We pay very close attention to detail. The cabin is clean, clean, clean. Windows are sparkling clean for your views. We use a rainbow vacuum and leave it running for hours at a time as we do our cleaning so that the dust in the air is filtered through the vacuum. We believe in giving a 4 or 5 diamond product at very affordable prices.
Why the Owner Chose Pigeon Forge:
The area is simply beautiful. I drove up to the top of the mountain and the first words out of my mouth was 'Oh My God' when I saw the view. I said I wish we could be staying there, pointing to the cabin. Mountain Splendor was for sale. We purchased it. Imagine waking up in the morning to the sight of these majestic mountains. The view alone is enough but when you couple this with true Southern Hospitality only found in this area...well, you just can't get any better.
