When you enter the front door you find a comfortable living room and continue into the dining room, with a table that seats six. At the back of the house is the family room with a pool table and 50" TV and a sofa that can be made into a queen sized bed. Next to the family room is the fully equipped kitchen with an eating bar and two bar stools; there is a separate eating area with a table that seats four. Going outside from the kitchen, there is a screened porch with patio furniture including a table which seats 6 and 2 lounge chairs, with a gas grill. The porch is a great place to have coffee, read the paper, and watch as boats go by. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, a dresser, a walk-in closet, and attached tiled bathroom. The guest bedroom has a queen sized bed, a dresser and closet. The second bathroom is right outside of the guest bedroom. There are ceiling fans in the family room, kitchen and both bedrooms. There is a one-car garage for your use -- this is where the washer/dryer is located. The driveway is wide enough for two cars to park.
The back yard is fenced. There are two docks. One is stationary with patio furniture including a table and four chairs and two lounge chairs. There is also a floating dock which is the perfect place to tie your boat.
Very nearby is the marina where you can rent boats for a trip to Anclote Island or fishing.

Why the Owner Chose Hudson
My husband and I chose Hudson because our plan is to retire there when our children are finished with school. We love the peaceful location in Hudson where you can watch the boats from the marina as they come and go.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Hudson is a nice quiet place that's not too far away from the hustle and bustle of bigger cities. You're able to relax on the porch or the dock with a glass of wine, and sometimes see a dolphin or manatee swim by.

I live in Lutz, Florida, which is about 30 minutes southeast of our rental house in Hudson, with my husband and two sons. I am a Florida native and have for most of my life lived in the Lutz area. Our family enjoys boating and fishing on the Gulf. We like the Hudson area for its small town feel and yet it is close to several cities.
