After renting beach houses on the Oregon Coast for over a decade, we finally achieved our dream of building our own. This home was built in honor of my Mother Barbara Cosetta Wright who was known as Cozey because she welcomed all who appeared at her door with good company and a great meal. We took the experiences we gained from renting beach houses and designed what we believe to be Manzanita's finest. It comes as no surprise that the majority of those who rent Cozeys have stayed there before. To date we have had three marriage proposals and two wedding at Cozeys. You will feel the warm spirit as soon as you enter our home.
The outside is wrapped in cedar with a large open deck and outside speakers, and a two car garage. Don't let the simplicity of the exterior fool you, when you open the front door, one will find a beautiful quality craftsman home built by Sunco Homes in Salem Oregon.
The 700 sq ft great room has a stacked stone fireplace capable of warming the entire room. The floors are white oak throughout the home. The dining area seats 10, custom granite counter tops with a bar that seats 4, a gourmet kitchen and wonderful pacific and mountain views await you. There is a corner window seat for reading or relaxing. Underneath the window seat you will find games, puzzles, and a small library of reading material above. The full stereo system has an ipod jack and speaker controls in every room. Cozey's also has two TV's with cable, DVD player, cd player, and wireless internet. There is a charcoal bbq, a gas bbq, bicycles and kites to enjoy as well.
An arched door separates the great room from the sleeping area so that those who wish to sleep can do so without being bothered by those who stay up late.
The large master bedroom and bath include a Jacuzzi tub with a view of the Pacific or Neahkahnie Mountain. Double showers, double sinks with granite counters and a king size bed. One bedroom contains a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and single on top. It is connected to a Jack & Jill bathroom with double sinks and a door separating the shower and tub area. Bedroom number 3 has a queen size bed as does the fourth bedroom. All bedrooms have either built in or stand alone dresser drawers. There are two futon beds in the great room should you need additional room for sleeping.
The bathrooms are designed so that the shower facilities can be closed off from the toilet facilities to offer dual use when necessary. Our home is equipped with two water heaters and an outside shower for those covered with sand. The laundry is located in the garage.
Our home is handicapped accessible with an access ramp and wide hallways to accommodate wheel chairs.
All bedding, cooking utensils and place settings are provided. The only thing missing is you.

Oct-June 15th ............ $500/night (3 night minimum)
$500 deposit due at booking with balance due 30 days prior to stay.
Deposit will be forfeited if cancellation occurs within 30 days of reservation.
A 7% Tillamook County and 1% State lodging tax will be charged.
No cleaning fees or other fees applied with 5 night minimum stays
$ 100 cleaning fee will be charged for 3 night minimum stays

Our family spent Thanksgiving there. No better place to be warm and dry with a great view of the high winds, rain, and massive surf - than Cozey's. The house is even better inside than the pictures would lead you to believe, a great open space with fantastic views of the beach, and comfortable window beds for relaxation. Bring your ipod and take advantage of the whole house music system - and of course don't forget to spend some quality time in that jacuzzi tub!! Cozey's is a must for your visit to Manzanita and the Oregon Coast.

What a beautiful beach getaway and home...our family has stayed in this unique house on the Manzanita beach for several years. It is fronted by tundra grasses and has a direct path to the sand and beach. There are no roads between property and beach and so very safe for children. Cozey's has quality architecture and construction and comes with a gourmet stove and kitchen with ALL the amenities including books, games, and bikes. The homeowners make every effort to assure our stay is enjoyable! The 'fit' is so perfect for our family, we care for this rental property as we do our private home and highly recommend it to everyone looking for a special place to 'recharge the spirit' and return to life and living following a relaxing holiday. Our family has been renting homes in the Manzanita area for over 30 years. Cozey's is one of the best we have ever stayed in. The layout of the home itself is well thought out with the sleeping quarters in a closed off area from the kitchen/living area. The kitchen and appliances are better than most of us have at home. Love the window seating area with a view of the ocean. Beachfront location is also a plus. Everything about this house is top notch. Clean and comfy. Many thanks to the owner for sharing their beautiful house with us.

I've stayed at Cozey's a couple times and have absolutely loved it. The amenities are amazing and it's well laid out for groups or a quiet evening curled up watching movies. The location can't be beat either... it's right on the water! I've stayed here in the winter and it was warm and comfortable while a storm was brewing outside. There are the most amazing window seats facing the ocean where it's fun to relax and watch a storm or simply read a book while taking in the breathtaking view.

We just returned from a long weekend in Manzanita and stayed at Cozey's beach house. Our extended family, with a 12 year old and a 20 month old, had a wonderful time. I can't say enough about the comfortable, yet classy interior and the prime location (the pics don't do it justice). We barbequed (in the rain), enjoyed the gourmet kitchen, took bike rides, jogged on the beach and played games. Took a drive up the coast to see some beautiful scenery and visit the Lewis and Clark Fort Clatsop and the other way to Tillamook. The Wright family are gracious hosts with good communication and clear instructions for enjoying the house.

We have been going to Cozey’s every year for the past 6 years and it is amazing! The house is gorgeous and the view from the deck is breathtaking. We have been with our kids and also for a romantic weekend and its perfect for both. The house has a ton of amenities – gourmet kitchen, huge master bed/bath with jacuzzi tub, games, puzzles, cable tv, dvd player and more! We love Cozey’s and will keep coming back every year. We highly recommend it!

I was able to take my family to Cozey's and we had the most wonderful time! Cozey's is one of the most beautiful places that I have stayed......the layout, view, amenities, well, just everything was great. I have also stayed as just a couple and found it very charming. With the family, we were able to put the young ones down at a reasonable time and still have a place for the adults to enjoy the rest of the evening without disturbing the young ones in bed. This part of the Oregon coast is a must see and Cozey's made it even more special. Town is just up the beach....with great places to eat and shop, golfing is down the street and we can't tell you just how beautiful the sunsets are. I look forward to my next visit to Cozey's and another great stay on the Oregon coast. My daughter was even proposed to while staying at Cozey's, she and her new husband also love all of the charm that Cozey's has to offer. A clean, comfortable, charming place to stay!

My husband and I travel extensively and stay in vacation houses whenever possible. Cozey's is one of a kind! It manages to be understated and extravagant at the same time. Beautiful & full of amenities. Clearly taken care of as if it is someone's own home. Cozy, warm, clean, beautiful views. We'll come back every year if we can and recommend to family and friends!
