Year Purchased: 2000
It took me 5 years to find this home and countless weekends looking. I love the views from the master bedrooms and living room. The openness of the living room, kitchen and dining area. Cooking dinner while being a part of the conversation in the living room. You can watch the news while having dinner at the table. My favorite thing is waking up early and having a cup of coffee on the porch. Watching the different boats go by and waving to the families. A hop skip across Hwy. 11 to New Orleans.
Why the Owner Chose Slidell
I chose this location because it was tucked away with only 12 homes on the street. The views different from other homes. Being on the main bayou and looking at the wild life refuge. Not having homes on top of each other.
