Unit sleeps 6 comfortably with a queen bed on the first level, a queen bed in the master bedroom on the second level, and twin beds in the open loft on the second level overlooking the living room. All beds have 100% cotton sheets and comfy comforters and all sleeping areas have bureaus and closets with extra blankets and pillows.
Enjoy a luxurious, long sleep or rise for an early morning to hike, run, or cross-country ski/snowshoe on Eastman's many trails. Take a short, 5-minute walk from our unit to Eastman Lake and visit the newly built South Cove Activity Center for access to a lap pool, fitness center, seasonal snack stand and non-motorized boat rentals(kayaks,canoes, paddle boats, and sailboats), and special children's programs and community activities (day use fee may be required).
During the lazy summer months, you can swim, float, or sail away the hours at the lake or enjoy a game of golf or tennis at nearby Eastman Center. The Center is a happening place all winter long too where you can cross-country ski, ice skate, or laze over a lunch or dinner at the on-site pub or restaurant.
It goes without saying that the foliage season in the fall is really spectacular, and this is the perfect time to go hiking, bicycling, apple picking, antiquing or visit a local Harvest Festival or Farmers' Market. And at the end of the day, relax and reminisce by a cozy fire in the living room!
Or just choose to stay inside and curl up with one of the many books or magazines in the unit, listen to a CD, watch a video, bake a cake, take a nap, or just stare out the window at the trees... You get the picture--the choice to do lots or do nothing is all yours!

We visited Eastman for the first time in 2000 and had such a wonderful time with our family that week, we knew this would be a choice location if we ever decided to purchase a second home. We especially appreciate that members of this community share our love of the outdoors and respect for the surrounding environment.
The Unique Benefits of this Townhome
We like to walk as much as possible and especially enjoy our close proximity to the lake, activity center, and hiking trails. There are days when we simply don't drive at all at Eastman! Also, our unit is 1 of 3 on a small dead-end road and we have lots of privacy other units don't seem to have.

The place was perfect. Close to Dartmouth, close to Cardigan Mountain School, very quiet and peaceful. The area is beautiful and the townhouse offered us exactly what we were looking for. It easily fit the four of us comfortably and it had everything we needed. The instructions that were let for us were clear and provided all the information we required. The kids loved the wireless access and I was able to get some work done. I would definitely stay there again and hope to do so soon. We had a great time.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My family and I really enjoyed staying here. I appreciated that the house was very clean and very well stocked with all the necessary items. It had a lovely home-y feeling that made us feel very comfortable. I also appreciated the timely manner with which the owners handled all of our business. They were available for any questions and even got back to me right away during our weekend stay.

“Why choose Eastman for a three day visit during Stick Season?” a friend asked me here in Pittsburgh. My response – because we love New England, have wanted to explore the Lake Sunapee area and have three days between one family gathering in Maine and Thanksgiving with another family in Vermont. And it was a great decision. We arrived in Eastman Sunday afternoon. We quickly unloaded the car, looked around the condo and were so pleased to find all the comforts of home (and more), and then headed off to the golf course. Being late November the course was closed for golf, but available for walking. We walked the front nine and imagined playing it in mid summer. We’d suggest bringing a few extra balls, as there are several small ponds just waiting to capture an errant shot. We also saw all the stakes marking out the cross-country course. They were ready for snow.Evening set in early so we headed to New London for an early dinner at nice little Italian restaurant and then back to the condo. We turned up the gas fire, relaxed and planned our Monday - walk the back nine, head out to drive around Eastman and then on to Lake Sunapee, exploring the neighboring towns as we drove. It was a great relaxing day, ending with a simple supper and a glass of wine.The condo’s location is great – an easy walk to the lake, to one of several beaches and also to the new activity center. We visited it one afternoon. Be sure to pack your exercise clothes and bathing suit. They have a fabulous lap pool and exercise equipment, along with a game room with ping pong and air hockey.The condo is set up nicely for a family or for two couples to share. My husband and I found it very inviting, comfortable and very well equipped. This was our first time renting from VRBO and it was very positive experience. The owners were very easy to work with through email. Everything went smoothly. We hope to return to the condo during an active summer or winter season.

We enjoy this area so much. It's so quiet that we were afraid of oversleeping. We have never stayed a a place so clean. We're looking forward to our next visit.
