This is our third visit to this beautiful home. The owner (Kathy) is wonderful. The home is spotless, beautiful, a real happy place. Fernandina is the same magical place with sugar white sandy beaches that I loved when my family lived here 33 years ago. One word describes this home.... heaven. Each time we drive away to return home I have to hold back my tears and wish for another happy vacation in this beautiful Blue House.

Full of Charm in a Convenient Location

Our family of seven stayed in this lovely home in May 2011. About a mile in one direction was the Main Beach and a mile in the opposite direction was the Old Town Center with coffee shops, restaurants, and other shops. We had a great time. The home was comfortable, clean and the decoration was easy on the eyes. Fernadina Beach is an incredible vaction spot. The beaches are very inviting. Parking everywhere is free, even at the beaches. The area has a great feel to it. We highly recommend this home. The owners are very accommodating. You will not be disappointed.

We found the house to be very comfortable.....easy to maintain....all the amentities you would have in your own home. The yard with kids or an animal is perfest and the patio area was great for BBQ's, cocktails and peace and quiet. Short drive to the beach 2 min with excellent access. We joined Fernandina Country Club and found playing there was fun and the people are very friendly. Trip to down town Fernandina is another 2 min trip....downtown is quaint and has some excellent eateries.....highly recommend the cruises very informative about the area and the history which is vast. The best part was the owners and their representive in the area they addressed every question and problem with in hours and were very cordial. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a home feeling while vacationing a week or several months....it truly belongs in New England but luckily its in Amelia Island. We are coming back next year for 2 months again as this has been a very enjoyable vacation and the home and area has just grown on us.

Best Month Ever!

My husband and I rented this home for the entire month of September. It was wonderful. The home is spotless. The owner is wonderful. It was comfortable and beautiful. Every morning we walked to the beach with coffee. We spent evenings walking in the beautiful downtown area. And most important of all we connected with family who live nearby. We came back home refreshed and rested. This home was well above my expectations. The best part other than all the fun we had was how nice and caring the owner is. What a wonderful experience.... Be careful if you rent this home..... You may never want to leave!

We recently stayed at this lovely home. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of room. The home is furnished beautifully and very well stocked. We had everything we needed! It is very close to the beach and just a short drive to downtown Fernandina. I highly recommend it!

I cannot say enough great things about this house. It is so comfortable and beautifully decorated. It has a fenced yard and wonderful patio space. It is close to everything, beaches, parks, shopping, swimming pool, restaurants, historical sites, etc. There were four people in our group (myself, my husband, my 3 year old son, and my mom) but there was plenty of room for a larger group. The house was perfect for us. It was very kid friendly for my son and the upstairs area has a bedroom and bathroom which gave my mom her own personal space. We were also amazed by the beaches. They were very clean and not at all crowded. We can't wait to return.

The house was extremely kid friendly with lots of toys and a huge yard for the kids to play in. The beach was very close with lots of parking if you choose to drive. Also very close to quaint downtown area, restaurants, grocery stores, parks, public pool - anything you could want. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Homeowners were very accomodating and easy to deal with. Would recommend to all my friends.

What a wonderful place to stay! My family spent a very relaxing time at this beach house this spring. We loved being able to walk out the front door and in a few minutes we were at the beach, in one of the great local restaurants, or one of the many playgrounds in the area. We also loved the artisan baker down the street that baked us a custom birthday cake in a matter of hours! We found the house tastefully decorated with all the creature comforts you would expect in a beach house, including a beautiful patio with a hammock and BBQ. We will certainly be coming back soon!
