Why the Owner Chose Other Tucson Properties
My husband and I adore the pristine and ethereal beauty of the Sonoran desert. He is a Tucson native and I received my BA and MFA from the University of Arizona. We both knew we wanted to own property in our beloved Tucson. We saw the house on our first day looking and it wasn't even on our list! However, it had a sign out front that said "For Sale." I took one look at it and named it "The Buttercup Casita." It's the first thing that came into my head. I knew we had to buy it. I fell in love with the indigenous landscaping, the huge yard, and the sweet yellow wall that surrounded everything with comfort and security.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The Buttercup Casita is an oasis in the desert. It's cool, relaxing, and has beautiful views both of the mountains and of our indigenous cactus garden. It's totally secure, surrounded by a snug yellow wall that reflects the lovely Tucson sunlight. Relax in the garden as you watch a gorgeous pale-blue and rose Southwest sunset. Staying at the Buttercup Casita is a soul-affirming, rejuvenating experience!

My husband is a Tucson native and I met him while I was getting my MFA at the University of Arizona. I am an English teacher and an assistant principal; my husband owns a motorcycle parts and service store called Ironwood Cycle. He is an artist (mostly watercolors), mechanic, and contractor who built his first house when he was 14 years old. He can fix anything and create anything. I am a life-time member of the Jane Austen Society of North America, a devoted lover of English literature, and am often to be found at the University of Arizona's Poetry Center.
