Perfect Mountain Getaway

This cabin is wonderful! My husband and I, along with my cousin's family (7 total) and our dogs spent the long weekend at this home in Sierra Pines. The house is beautiful, clean, comfortable, well stocked and in a great neighborhood. We went up to Sunrise Park to snowboard/ski which was about an hour drive. Coming back after a long day to play with the dogs in the large fenced yard and enjoy the indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit was so great. Thanks Gary and Mary Ann for letting us enjoy your home!

We rented this house early Feb 2012 for a ski trip. It was really nice and clean, even better than we expected! We are looking forward to renting again this summer! HIGHLY recommended!

This place was super clean and cozy! We felt right at home here. The backyard was huge and great for our dogs to run around in. (especially since it was all fenced in) It snowed the last day we were there which was gorgeous! We actually just went sledding down the long driveway! Great place to rent! The owner (Gary) is super nice as well!

Great Cabin, location and time

We went to celebrate my wife's 30th B-day and New Years 2012 and had the best time and stay! The cabin is amazing and we had a ton of snow on the ground to play in the backyard. We created a downhill sled area and we had a blast! we are already lookign at the calender to schedule our next stay for 2012!!!

Our family had a great time staying at this cabin in Show Low. The yard was huge and fenced in so the kids could play out back in the snow without me worrying about them. The house was well-equipped and clean (which I REALLY appreciate). You feel like you are out in the middle of nowhere, but the grocery is only about 5 minutes away! Would stay again and recommend to friends and family. Thank you for letting us enjoy your cabin!

It's the Monday after our 5-day stay in this wonderful home in Show Low and we wish we were still there! Preparing a Thanksgiving meal was a breeze in this well-appointed kitchen. The main living area was the gathering place for all seven of us and we found it relaxing and comfortable. Our dog, Avery, was entertained by the gated wooded backyard. Securing our reservation with Gary and Mary Ann was easy and problem free. Thank you both for sharing your lovely home with us.

Home Away from Home

This was our second stay at White Mountain Memories. Once again, we had a wonderful time! Show Low is a great place to go to escape the heat of the Valley, and this house makes you feel right at home minus the heat. It is very clean, tastefully decorated, and well stocked. It's big, but still cozy. The patio and fire pit area are perfect for relaxing outdoors. This home is also conveniently located close to town and within short drives to beautiful lakes and hiking trails. It's the perfect place to stay in Show Low. The only bad thing is having to leave!

Great weekend getaway

This cabin and the owners exceeded our expectations. The cabin and decor look even better in person than in the photos. It is close enough to the highway for convenience, but far enough away that you can feel like you are secluded in the pines. The property was well maintained. From the beginning, the owners were very helpful and responsive - returned emails and calls right away, mailed refund check within a few days of departure. I have already recommended this cabin to friends. We are so happy that this is a dog-friendly property... our dog loved running around the completely fenced-in yard.

Perfect location and perfect property

When I rent on VRBO I like to arrive and get exactly what the web site says I am going to get. This is what you will get when you rent this property. The cabin was perfectly cleaned, the outdoor area was amazing with a fence that enclosed the property so there were no worries for the dogs or children if you have any. The cabin was fully stocked with enough things to do including movies, cards, games and a fire pit for the nighttime. It was just right off the highway and very close to the center of Show Low and not too far from Pinetop. We slept great even with the windows opened, no noise at all. The owners are very easy to work with and refunded our security deposit immediately afterwards. We will rent this again.

When I was researching rental cabins in the Show Low/Pinetop area, I found this one. Because it was priced lower than others I was considering, I figured something must be wrong with it. I was wrong--this cabin was wonderful! It is in a very quiet neighborhood with a great deck in the large back yard. The beds were clean and comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and we appreciated the movie collection. There is no central air conditioning, but there two are portable AC units, ceiling fans and portable fans. This was a great base for our daily hikes!

My family (wife, 8 year old daughter, 3 year old son) and my Mother rented this home for a quick getaway from the Tucson heat. It was a phenomenal choice. There were plenty of comfortable sleeping accommodations. The neighborhood was lovely. The wooded backyard made it feel like it was more secluded than it is. Stores were relatively easy drive for essentials, and the full kitchen was well equipped for inexpensive meals "at home." We went to Petrified Forest National Park (about an hour away), fished at Fool Hollow Lake, toured the Williams Creek Fish Hatchery and took scenic drives throughout the area. The home was always refreshing to return to.

Our stay at this Show Low property was wonderful. The house was clean and decorated beautifully. Everything you could possibly need was there. The owner was very accommodating and kind. We received our security deposit back in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this property.

I would like to say that this was not a good place. I would like to say a lot of other negitive things just so I know it would be available when I want and need it. BUT I can't. It was perfect. Location was easy in and easy out. The 'backyard' was quiet and peaceful. The place was very clean and had everything you needed for your weekend getaway or a family gathering. The owners are fantastic to work with. You will be very happy with this place.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this home away from home! This cabin is located in a beautiful neighborhood, but, because of the trees everywhere and the big lot, we felt like we were out in the woods. It is conveniently located near lakes, hiking trails, and to the town of lovely town of Show Low. The cabin itself is welcoming and comfortable. It is well stocked and decorated to make you feel at home. We highly recommend this cabin to stay in when traveling to the White Mountains!

We absolutely LOVED staying in this cabin! It was cozy, yet spacious. My husband and I and our 5 children had plenty of room, made many of our own meals, played games, watched a few movies, grilled chicken, walked in the neighborhood, played in the snow and had a wonderful Spring Break for our family. We loved that shopping was just a few minutes away. The description of the cabin was very accurate, it was very clean and the owner was so wonderful to work with. I would definately recommend this cabin for anyone wanting to make some White Mountain memories with your family!
