Enjoy a beautiful, relaxing vacation at our spacious home nestled in the Historic City of Hendersonville. Rock on the front porch & watch the White Squirrel's frolic in the yard or gather around the piano on the enclosed back porch. 2 acres of land to watch nature or for the children to play. We have 2 paved driveways, 2 car garage with full basement, and a basketball goal. We have an outdoor area with a charcoal grill.
Also, there is a laundry area with washer & dryer & ironing board. There are 3 bedrooms and 1 walk in closet, 1 queen size pull out sofa, 1 full bath with handicap railing and 1 bathroom with a handicap shower stall to make life a little easier. There is also a sitting room where you can gather around the fireplace and talk about your day.
Nestled near town White Squirrel Hill will give you the best of both worlds in a nice neighborhood getaway but also close to downtown Hendersonville. Our #1 goal is for you to feel at home. There are many personal touches throughout our home to make you feel welcome. If you have any special request please let us know & we will do our best to ensure you have an enjoyable stay.
We are located minutes away from Historic Downtown Hendersonville home of the NC Apple Festival, Flat Rock-home of Connamara (The Carl Sandburg Home) and the Flat Rock Playhouse. A short drive away from Saluda-home of the annual Coon Dog Day Festival, Tryon-which is home of the Blue Ridge BBQ Festival, Brevard-home of Brevard Music Center and the White Squirrel Festival and finally Asheville-which is famous for the elegant Biltmore Estate, Grove Park Inn and Belle Chere Festival. My husband and I have been married for 12 years. We have a beautiful 9 year old daughter, Carley and a 2 month old son, Brody. My husband lived in the eastern part of the state for about 7 years and then his family moved here. I on the other hand have lived here all my life. We both love the mountains and the beauty of the Four Season's our area provides.
Why the Owner Chose Hendersonville
This was my families home growing up. My dad built this house with his own 2 hands back in the 50's. My parents have since passed and I can't part with this home. My parents always enjoyed a full house so what better way to carry that on than to let other's enjoy all the beauty of this area.

We stayed in this wonderful rental from mid-December, 2010 to the end of February, 2011. We were very pleased with the accommodations and the care and concern that the owners displayed if we had questions. My husband is disabled and this rental "fit the bill" very well as he was quite comfortable. We enjoyed the white squirrels, rabbits and the cardinals. We would highly recommend this rental. It is extremely convenient to shopping and everything we needed during our stay. We were even able to find a snow shovel in the basement to clear the 8" of snow we had on Christmas Day! What a great place!! Our family rented this home for 6 weeks during the summer. It was ideal for us...close to everything, yet on a quiet street. The house had everything, from a first aid kit to a basketball and goal. We really enjoyed our stay at this rental. The owner was very helpful. I'd highly recommend this home!

We were visiting Asheville and the area and had a great time at this property. The owner had every single thing you would have in your own house - right from band aid to an umbrella to good quality soap to an outdoor grill with the coals etc provided. Great location - away from the main roads but close to fresh produce, quaint coffee shops and shopping centers. I would recommend this property to everyone interested in visiting the Asheville area.

The house was so comfortable and had the "homey" feeling. It was great sleeping at night and we enjoyed coming back to relax. We were very happy to call it our home for the weekend. We will be back soon.

It is rare to find a family as warm, hospitable, and loving as the Evans'. Their home was lovely with a country charm reminder of years gone by. One gets an instant feeling that brings us back to a time and place of a warm secure blanket. Whoever is so lucky that they may have the special opportunity to experience this home can fill quite privileged.
