Our Home is suited to discerning guests, couples or families. It has been set up for our family and friends so is NOT the usual rental place. Even though it is a 3 bedroom home, the main living level has main bedroom so the downstairs area (with 2 bedrooms and study) can easily be separated off if not required so it is still very good for just 1 couple.
There is no other place like Queenstown. Uniquely spectacular, and combining all sorts of adventure and relaxation activity, beautiful scenery, and the wonder of the outdoors, with world class shopping, entertainment, restaurants and bars.
Four distinct seasons and four different appeals to the senses. Our Home has panoramic views over Lake Wakatipu and the mountains. It is a few minutes into the heart of Queenstown, and an ideal stepping off place for local sightseeing.
International visitors "downunder" should do OZ and NZ in the one trip and marvel at the contrasts. Locals will know that Queenstown is the adventure capital of the Asia Pacific region, and is like the Swiss Alps just a few hours from home.

I am semi retired and move between Queenstown and Sydney, where my family live. I love scenery and gardens and find Queenstown an ideal place to enjoy with family and friends.
Why the Owner Chose Queenstown
We fell in love with Queenstown after staying just one night in 1968. We love the location and after all this time, it is still beautiful. We have been able to share this with our family and friends and now open it to select guests.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Our Home is on the Queenstown Hill above the town where you can relax inside or outside on one of the numerous decks and enjoy the scenery. We have modified our Home to make it comfortable and cosy and it is a pleasure to be in, regardless of the season.

Having stayed at the owners property elsewhere we expected the Queenstown property to be of the same standard, in fact Queenstown was better than we could have imagined. The property was set in a beautiful location with commanding views of Queenstown and surrounding ranges. The property itself catered for our entire family and was beautifully decorated and had on offer the finest in furniture and amentities. The property had everything, the sound system was fantastic. Loved the under fllor and ceiling heating.The property was maintained at a high standard and the greeting we received on arrival was generous and well received. We would recommend this property to all our friends and our adult children. The only downside, if you're not physically fit walking into town would be daunting as the area is quite hilly, we loved it and both walked and drove into CBD. Justed loved it. Would like to see it again in winter although it would need to snow.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

Thank you Adelle & Ken for letting us rent out your absolutely phenomenal home. I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed out stay. Your home definitely felt like a home away from home, it was so cosy and warm, spacious, extremely comfortable and the beds were like sleeping on clouds! We enjoyed some nights in by the beautiful log fire and it was so easy to collect wood from the garage! All members of my family enjoyed being together and your home made it such a wonderful place to relax and enjoy each others company. Only minutes by car from the Queenstown centre, we also enjoyed some great food at the local restaurants. The view from the house is spectacular to say the least and you cannot tire of seeing the mountains and the Earnslaw making it's way up the lake throughout the day. My adult children enjoyed many activities that Queenstown has to offer (of the adrenalin type) and my husband and myself were happy to do some short walks and discover Queenstown and it's surrounds. So thanks again Adelle & Ken for allowing us to stay in your home. I will definitely be back and I would highly recommend your property to anyone wishing for a fun and/or relaxing holiday in a beautiful destination.
