We really had a wonderful time at this villa. It is very spacious and well appointed, in perfect condition with an excellent staff. We are a 3 generation family of 10 (with young children) who highly recommend this villa for a beautiful and relaxing vacation. The owner is very attentive and responsible. The staff waited on us so there was nothing to do but relax and enjoy all the activities at Casa de Campo.

It is fun to try to describe a PERFECT vacation

We have just returned from spending a glorious 6 days at this villa. (myself, my wife, and 4 young adults, ages 28-42). I will attempt to tell you how magnificent the villa experience was, plus all that Casa De Campo has to offer. I will start with the villa. As you read the VRBO ad from the owner, it sounds like an impossible task to provide all of these amenities. The owner outdid everything that he told us we could expect. The chef is fantastic. She cooked everything that we asked of her- from Steak au Poirve to Domican style chicken. The butler was amazing. He anticipated our every need and brought it to us, without our asking. This included hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, drinks ,towels to the pool and Jacuzzi, as well as pick up at the La Romana Airport with 2 SUVs for the 6 of us, plus luggage. The maid was unbelievable. I have never had my underwear ironed- now I can say that I have. If you are seeking a champagne vacation on a Pepsi budget, this villa is very reasonable. We ended up with 2 golf carts plus the minivan as part of our deal. Casa de Campo is huge and spread out and we took advantage of all of the vehicles as we particpated in of lots of activities. Some of us played golf, some tennis, we all went to the beach, and we all played donkey polo (what a riot that is). Two golf carts were in use all of the time. One night the butler even drove us to a casino outside the resort (not overly impressive for a luxury casino). As you can tell, I and my entire party are thrilled with our 6 days and can't wait to return. I now understand what priceless means, even though I thought this vacation was well within my Pepsi budget. One suggestion- learn a little Spanish before you go.( I used Rosetta Stone) It was a blast to attempt to discuss meals with the chef and life with the butler in their native tongue. (I am sure that they appreciated our attempt too). You won't believe the fun and frolic that you can create.

I recently spent a glorious 6 days at a private villa celebrating my 70th birthday week with my family (wife and 4 adult children- 28-42). I have been involoved in lots of world class activities and this was, by far, the most wonderful of them all. The owner, is the most accomodating guy that I have had the pleasure to interact with. He did everything and more to make our vacation special. What is special, you may be asking? Santa, the chef, Victor, the butler, Dominique, the maid are all unbelievable in what they do. The food was extraordinary, the service- outstanding. We had more fun than people are allowed to have. Luxuriating in style are the words that I can come up with to best describe the event. If you know about Casa de Campo, you know that all of the famous people of the world come there. There is a reason for that- the place is unbeatable. We played golf twice (the owner told us which caddies to use), tennis, donkey polo (hilarious), beach and pool swimming, Jacuzzi, and several massages -in the house and at the beach. I now know what a priceless experience means, yet the cost was VERY reasonable. I can't imagine a more perfect time. The 6 of us are already planning for next year's fun and frolic at the same villa. BTW- to have the most fun, learn a little Spanish (Rosetta Stone) so that when conversing with the staff you can experience life in their language. It added to my absolute delight. (and their's too)

RENT THIS VILLA!! We knew from the pictures and the reviews that this would be a lovely home. But in person, it was even more breathtaking than our family of 12 could have imagined. First, I’d like to say that arranging our stay with the owner Fernando was a pleasant experience. He was accessible and responsive throughout the process, and when Casa de Campo changed their resort fee structures in April of 2011 (after we had already contracted), he adjusted our contract to honor his original quote. This professional courtesy was most appreciated and we will certainly work with him again on our next trip to Casa de Campo. Thank you Fernando! One of the more beautiful homes in Casa de Campo, this villa is extra-spacious with 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 1 family room and 1 dining room. (The 2nd floor living room which can serve as a 5th bedroom has huge windows offering panoramic views overlooking the pool on one side and the grand living room downstairs on the other). We are a well-traveled group with a taste for luxury, so the stylishly contemporary décor and well maintained property (inside and out) were very much to our liking. (We wondered how the white sofas stayed so white!) The open layout of the house and its strategic location of the lot allowed for nice breezes throughout the house. Each room is equipped with remote-controlled air conditioners ensuring a good night’s sleep along with the comfortable beds. For entertaining, the spacious back yard has a large pool and separate Jacuzzi, and with its covered lanai and another covered lounge area, both sun-worshippers and those who prefer shade have ample space to mingle. Otherwise, the large indoor dining table accommodated our group of 12 quite comfortably. This villa also comes with the use of 2 golf carts and a minivan for free- and they certainly came in handy. The resort is huge, and with a large group it allowed us to split up to do our own things (i.e. while some went to the beach, others went to the marina, while others went to the business center.) Not only was the house amazing, but the chef is an AMAZING cook and the butler was SO HELPFUL! (I recommend you provide a list of what you’d like to have stocked in the kitchen before you arrive. You will NOT want to leave the home once you arrive!) We've rented homes in the past (either in the Dominican Republic or Puerto Rico) and I must say that this was the most impressive and most well-run villa. Our stay was PERFECT and we shall be back!

The house is wonderful with all 4 bedrooms being spacious. The staff keeps the house immaculate. The grounds are also well taken care of. The outdoor showers in the 2 downstairs bedrooms are a real treat. Santa, the Chef, prepared the best meals we have had at Casa de Campo in the 14 years we have been going. The owner was very helpful before and during our stay. I look forward to returning next year.

The house was everything that was advertised and more. The staff did a great job in taking care of our needs. The food was better than dining out. We ate all our meals at the villa. And each meal was a treat, as far as quality and variety. We played golf every morning at the different courses. Then came home and chilled out at the pool.I cant say enough about our stay at the villa. My complements to the owner for running a first class operation. If anyone is looking for a stress free getaway, this is the place to go. I cant say enough good things about the villa and the staff. Can't wait to go back.

The property is very well maintained, cleaned and manicured. Owners do take pride on their property and it shows. Description is very accurate, the chef - Santa - is outstanding. We will be back.

Family vacation in La Romana

The description of the preoperty in internet is very accurate and the service provided was excellent. Property is clean and well kept. The cheff is very good and pleasant, satifying our requests ant pampering my two grandsons on their needs. I have already recommended the property to a friend and will have no problem in recommending it to anyone. In fact my whole family want to return next year. While my wife and me like to eat out a lot and visiting good restaurants, we did not ate outside the home a single time. There was no need!
