Our family of 7 spent a week at this great condo overlooking Boulder Lake. The condo had plenty of room for us to spread out. Our 3 teenagers enjoyed the bedroom and loft area. They had a dbl bed, 2 twins, a bathroom and sitting area all to themselves which made them very happy. The younger kids were on the 1st floor with us but they also had their own room. The condo is decoraed very nicely and we thouroughly enjoyed spending our "down time" there. The view of the lake was beautiful from the balcony and the pool was just to he left. We enjoyed the pool, beach and tennis courts on the property. There were plenty of things to do and see within a short drive. We visited Bushkyll Falls, Jim Thorpe and the Hickory Run State Park. We went horseback riding, golfing and white water rafting. For the out door adventurer, there were lots of trails for hiking or mountain biking. We saw lots of deer and turkey which the kids enjoyed. Tom & Alice were very helpful throughout the rental process. Thanks to them for sharing their great place.

We had the best time at the View this December! It was a shockingly short drive from Big Boulder Resort and Boulderview Tavern, and not far from Jack Frost and cheaper equipment rental shops. The living room space, with high ceilings, fireplace, plenty of seating, and the amazing view of the lake was ideal. There was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable, it was extremely affordable, and the jacuzzi upstairs was relaxing as well, especially after skiing all day. The owner is extremely friendly and makes the rental process incredibly simple.

My family and I won a long weekend at The View in a silent auction. I immediately called and booked one for six months later, in the height of the leaf-peeping season. Tom was gracious and helpful and took the reservation. I had seen the pictures on the internet, but I've stayed in places that looked really good on the web, but the reality was much different. In this case, the pictures hardly do it justice. There were four of us and I took the downstairs Master. One of my nephews took the other downstairs bedroom and my other nephew and his partner took the top floor. Each of us had a private bathroom. The View is amazing, in a word. The weather was warm enough for us to enjoy sitting on the balcony and looking out over the lake......and the lake is breathtaking, even on a slightly chilly night with a full moon. One of my nephews is a gourmet chef, Even though he travels with his saute pan (guess that's what chefs do!), there were more than enough pots, pans and utensils available for him to create remarkable meals for us while we were there. I don't think we ate out once during our four day stay! The town of Jim Thorpe (Mauch Chunk) is a short drive from the house and we got to Bushkill Falls and walked/hiked off a bit of those tempting meals we had. We also went to Hickory Run State Forest and hiked to a beautiful waterfall, enjoying the Fall day. I travel a great deal and one of the problems I have with this are the mattresses in hotels/inns and vacation homes. Not so with The View. On the king bed in the Master is a 2.5 inch thick piece of memory foam. Let me tell you, I had the best of sleep on this! I was so impressed that, on my way back to Philly, I stopped and bought one for my own king bed at home! Tom and Alice, thank you so much for your hospitality while we stayed at The View. Will we be returning? You can bet on it! Sade

We truly enjoyed our time at this condo. It was extremely spacious for a family of four and the view was wonderful. The owners were very gracious in answering all our questions. Very good location to parks, restaurants, and other amenities. We would not hesitate to come back for a repeat visit. Thank you Tom and Alice!

We stayed for 2 nights without ever seeing the owner. Everything was done verbally and expectations honored to mutual satisfaction. Property is as stated in the description except you provide the firewood(owner prefers you use artificial logs). The owners were very helpful, friendly and trusting. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone especially at this attractive rate.

Me and my boyfirend, Super Dave spent a beautiful week at this wonderful place. We had more space than we knew what to do with. The view was fantastic and the place was right on Big Boulder and convenient to area restaurants and shopping. We even had fun making the beds together each morning. We can't wait to go back. The owner's were great - especially the lovely, Alice. This was a Great Pocono Home. Aggie

I had a chance to stay here in April with a world renowned musician. This senior musician is greatly into Nature, arts and wanted a quiet time and peaceful time away from a hectic tour. I luckily ran into this site and then loved this place that Thomas and his wife owns. We had a terrific time and I will cherish the moments we had at this place. Thomas and his wife are very nice people and they understood our need very clearly and helped us in every possible way. I recommend this place a AAAAAAAAA++++++++++++++ and I am going back there some day again ....

Just recently took a brief mid-week ski getaway and stayed in this condo. Very nice place. Very clean and well appointed. Great grill outside on the deck, gorgeous view and so close to Big Boulder. Good rate too! Everything in the home is as it was stated in the ad and the owner was quick to return our full security deposit because we left it so clean. Thank you for a nice visit!

This is our 3rd visit to The View and we just love it, everything is so convenient and pool and lake is all in walking distance, internet access is great since we can't all leave our work at home, but still relaxing and there are quite a few restaurants within a few miles if you don't want to cook. Rates are great and owners very accommodating.

This place was beautiful. Very spacious and clean. We had 4 adults and 3 children and there was enough room. Everyone had a great time. The view of the lake is fabulous. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The owners are incredibly helpful and friendly, and the place comes with ALL the amenities you could possibly want. It is on the top floor, so not recommended for persons with disabilities. Else that, it's truly fantastic: - a great view of the lake - very clean - a quiet location (we were there in the fall/off-season) - great rates - good nearby restaurants (reservations are good, even in the fall!) - great owners We did have to drive a ways to rent a boat. The nearby paintball is NOT for the amateur. The stores and shops do close early, and getting beer/wine/liquor proves tricky (separate stores, couldn't actually find liquor - PA people would be used to that, though, I'm sure).
