Why the Owner Chose Maui Kai
Maui is the island of Aloha. The people and the property are just beautiful. Great restaurants in the immediate area.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
My unit is right on the beach. Truly beachfront! I like whale watching straight from the unit. Bring your binoculars during whale season (December through April.) The pool and spa are so relaxing.
Supermarket, great shops and resturants in this mall.
World famous "Dukes" a resturant chain named after a famous Hawaiian Olympic swimmer and surfer from the 1930's. Located next door, just a short walk.

Ahhhhh . . . our 1st reaction when we stepped into our 'home away from home' for 2wks. The view, beach, ocean sounds, condo decor/amenities breathed the 'Aloha' spirit. Great meals on the lanai, beautiful sunsets. Met some awesome people while bbqing/swimming. Appreciated courtesy computer and am Kona coffee. Employees wonderful ... especially enjoyed our housekeeper 'Jenny'. Maui Kai is quiet, relaxing, great location. Beach walks, snorkeling 20+ft from Lanai. Walked next door for Happy Hour/entertainment. Went north to: Napili Bay snorkeling w/turtles(my highlight), breakfast at Gazebo, SlackKey performance. Welcoming church, Lahaina Fellowship Cntr, in Kapalua. Honolua General Store for great deli food to Honokohau Bay for surfer watching & roadside stand for 'apple bananas' & banana bread. Lahaina was a spring board for our shopping, harbor & deep sea fishing, historical sights, galleries, great meals, shows Ulalena & Willy K, shaved ice at Ulalani's. Over to Kahului for Sat. Swap Meet at College, Cost-Co near airport & Queen Kameamea Shop Cntr. & onto town of Wailuku. South to town of Kihei and golfing at Blue Course in Wailea. Tried to fit as much in being absent from Maui for 30+yrs. Will definately be back. Owner wonderful to work with! Mahalo for sharing your little oasis!

I was never sure about staying in studios on a vacation, especially one that had a kitchen in it...BOY was I wrong! This was perfect, not only does this unit really look like the photo, not some glamorized picture of someones elses place, but the studio allowed for a perfect view all the time, easy conversation and time for both my husband and I! The decor allowed for a cozy homey feel that set it apart from a run of the mill hotel room. The staff were kind, gracious, and very helpful for us that like to exprience the tourist stuff and the down home expierience of a place we travel. I would recommend eating at the local Aloha Maui Plate (AMP), Duke's, and the grocher acroos the street (get poke a local marinaded fish). I would definately recommend a snorkel tour through trilogy to Molakini or Lanai, but also rent your own stuff and go to black rock. Make sure you go to the left side of it when facing the ocean. Take a walk along the beach board walk, it starts a couple hotel down the beach to the left when facing the beach, I hear it actually goes all the way to town, though we didnt make it that far. Finally sunrise above Haleakala is definately worth it, BUT COLD, layer, bring a hat, gloves, and prepare for wind. Finally know that although its an island you cant cover it all in a week, we missed out on turtle town, zip lines, and the road to Hana...we were told by locals and tourists they are must dos. Just check with locals that there is water in the seven pools at Hana, varies witht he time of year. Dont miss out, stay at this wonderful spot in Maui and see all you can, it really is a little piece of paradise!

Jan 7th thru Jan 15th 2011. There is so much to be said about this condo. You can't find a better place to stay, for a quiet, relaxing and great time. The beach is "right" out your lanai. The whale, turtle, dolfins swiming by, not to mention the unrestricted sunset view from your own private lanai. Without the mega hotel crowds! Stan and Penny are attentive to any needs, along with the all the condo rental staff, from the front desk to the house keepers. The pool, recreation room, bbq's...family friendly and respectfull those of us who don't take our kids...thank you all

This is truly ocean front. We especially enjoyed spending each morning on the lanai, eating fresh fruits from the local farmers market and drinking the complimentary Kona coffee from the Maui Kai lobby. What a way to start your day ~ gorgeous views of Molokai and Lanai. Centrally located to all the activities we planned, yet so peaceful and perfect for our stay. Most days we walked right down the center steps of the Maui Kai to snorkel. We saw turtles, eel, and about 50 yards out, beautiful schools of fish. The condo was fully equipped and in excellent condition. The kitchen had everything! We were comfortable cooking meals and using the poolside BBQ. All the amenities of home, but surrounded by the most spectacular sunsets anywhere. Friendly staff from the Maui Kai is worlds apart from what we experienced in other resorts. Owners are so very helpful too! Be sure to visit to Dukes ~ nice to have a restaurant in walking distance. A little adventure, but a whole lot of fun. It was everything promised and more. We did not want to leave!

My husband and I spent four days enjoying this lovely waterfront condo. The place was just as described - and more. The condo was nicely decorated and had lots of little amenities, such as spices in the kitchen and a boogie board in the closet. The condo was centrally located in an area just perfect for enjoying the ocean and visiting other nearby towns. We would recommend this place to other couples.

You could not ask for a better place to stay in Maui. The owner of the condo was very helpful answering our questions in preperation of our trip. This unit is very beautiful, comfortable and very well taken care of. The kitchen has about everything you need. The patio lanai is a great place to hang out with amazing views of the islands of Lanai and Molokai. Then there's the veiw and sounds of the ocean right at your door step. And of course beach walking galore. The sunsets are spectacular and romantic. The grounds are well taken care of and beautiful. The pool area, cabana and BBQs are very nice and centrally located from this unit. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great Kona coffee brewed every morning in the lobby. Conviently located for easy access to dinning ,shopping ,golfing and plenty of snorkeling. I highly recomended this unit to stay in. I am planning to go back during whale season for another stay at Maui Kai

This was our third stay at the Maui Kai and your place was by far the nicest condo. Thank you so much for opening your home away from home up to us.Our first trip to Maui was for our honeymoon. This trip we taged along with some friends that stayed at the Westin, which was really nice, but we prefer the Maui Kai to any fancy hotel. Maui is our favorite place on earth, so I feel confident to say that we'll be back. Thanks again for 9 days of paradise.

Thank you for providing such a wonderful place. Your attention to detail is evedent-from your decor, the coolers & boogie boards,to calling to confirm we had everything we needed. MAHALO! Our 9th anniversary (9-9-09)on Maui was a surprise, but what a special event you helped to create for us. Our first trip to paradise-Probably won't be our last! Whale watching sounds like a great second trip....
