Dela Park Place is an 8 story building housing 53 units located.

Our unit #502 is an upscale fully furnished unit with two master suites, one with a king size bed and one with a queen size bed. Both suites have an attached bath and open onto the lanai overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and the 10,000 islands. The third bedroom has a king size bed with an adjoining bath that also serves as a powder room for guests. The den is situated at the front of the condo and has a double sized sleeper sofa. The kitchen has granite countertops and comes with all the amenities. The breakfast counter seats 4 and the dining room table seats 6 people. The condo houses a private washer and dryer for guest use. There is a large screen TV in the living room as well as a TV in the den and a TV in each of the guest bedrooms with the exception of the King Master. The unit comes equipped with electric hurricane shutters.

Our unit comprises 1950 sq ft under air and is the largest available in the building, outside of the penthouses. The lanai is 38 feet long and has a dining table for 4 as well as outdoor seating and side tables. It is a short 5 minute walk to the beach.

Why the Owner Chose Dela Park Place

We chose Dela Park Place because of its location. It's located on the southern tip of the island with stunning views of the gulf and 10,000 islands. The sunsets are unparalleled and especially beautiful during the winter months. The views of wildlife are outstanding. We see dolphins playing every day as well as sea turtles and manatees. The condo is located near a marina and Caxambas Park as well as a very short walk to South Beach. There is a large pool off the water's edge for guests to enjoy and a pier for the avid fisherman. There is a tennis court in the front over the covered parking facility. It is a quiet area of the island where you can truly relax and enjoy your time off.

My wife and I retired to Marco Island 15 years ago. We are originally from Minnesota and have been vacationing on Marco since 1977. As our children grew we began coming to Marco every year. The whole family loves it here as there is something for everyone to enjoy. We love to deep sea fish and boat to one of the many islands. We are avid golfers with a variety of courses to choose from in the local area. The beach is one short block away with 7 miles of pristine white sand and gorgeous sunset views of the Gulf of Mexico. Our grandkids love the beach activities. They play volleyball, go jet skiing, parasailing, sunbathing and swimming in the warm gulf waters. We enjoy the casual restaurants on the beach as well as the fine dining accessibility.

Wonderful Place- Dela Park Place & the Feehan Family

I felt compelled to write my review after reading a previous review which is in stark contrast to our experience. We rented this unit Christmas week 2009 and found Bill and his family more than willing to accomodate my family and the family we travelled with from Pittsburgh. Bill was more than generous in letting us into the unit early, Christmas day 2009, as our travel plans had us arriving earlier than planned. The unit was clean, and perfect for our families. The views are spectacular from the screened in lenai. My wife had a mishap with the screen, in which she accidentally ripped a portion of the screen. My wife was distraught over this and was afraid to call Bill and inform him of the news. Bill was very kind when hearing the news and arranged for a company to repair the screen for us, at our cost, which I fully expected. He told my wife it is just a screen and to not let it ruin our vacation. Our experience was wonderful with Bill and his family and I would highly recommend this unit to anyone interested in a Marco Island stay. Our children enjoyed the proximity to the beach, the views, tennis courts and equipment provided, pool etc.

My family and I just returned from spending a wonderful month in this beautiful Dela Park Condo. The condo is well maintained and the floor plan was wonderful for us. During our stay we had our children, grandchildren and nieces arriving at various times. The accommodations lend themselves to everyone having the privacy they need, but also for great times together on the lanai or at the dining room table. The kitchen is well equipped with great cookware and dishes. (We've often stayed where you could hardly put a meal together because they didn't have what was needed.) The washer and dryer are the most updated ones I have ever used. The view from the lanai is breath-taking. We saw dolphins everyday and manatee several times. While at the pool, one can enjoy their swim and play time while overlooking the gulf. We've never seen a pool built so close to the gulf water which was so very relaxing. The owners are kind and thoughtful. I was amazed when I couldn't get my laptop to work for a few days, the owner brought me his to use until mine was working. They provided a parking sticker for free parking at the public beach. Having the owners live in the same community is a real plus. All you had to do was call, and they were right there. Thanks to the Feehans for sharing their lovely home with us. I definitely would recommend this lovely home highly, and hope we will have the opportunity to stay there again.

My month's stay in Marco

The location and view from the condo are wonderful. The owners were new at renting and should have found out the correct procedures for cleaning a unit between guests and departure and arrival times to guarantee a flawless take over. We were told to arrive at 10 and didn't take possession until after 3. The cleaning crew was not adequate to successfully clean the unit after guests had been in the facility for over a month. Throws, spread and pillows were not cleaned prior to our taking possession. No one took time to inspect cabinets to see what condition pots and pans were left. Some items needed to be recleaned by us because of grease and food encrusted on them. Also, upon our arrival, two remotes for the televisions were not working, owner worked very hard to get both repaired, but in order to fix all the problems associated with the malfunctioning TVs it required owner and daughter to be in the unit on six occasions for anywhere from 2-4 hours at a time. Since we lost a great deal of private time due to repairs and our re-cleaning of the unit we asked for some compensation for unit not being in perfect condition for our entire stay. The owner who up to that point had been very willing to help resolve our concerns became very unwilling to negotiate any reduction in price for our inconveniences. While the view is gorgeous and the lanai is spectacular, we would not recommend renting this unit until the owner gives the unit a facelift and adopts some procedures for proper cleaning between guests and for securing property in a timely fashion.

Owner response:To: Trust and Security Dept. We did everything we could to make these people happy, but nothing seemed to suffice. I believe they were looking for a refund from the day they moved into the condo. I would never rent to this person again. Her accusations are unfounded and not based on fact. My wife is a meticulous housekeeper and this is the first time in 50 years she has ever been accused of having a dirty house. Want witnesses? I will bring in the cleaning crew to corroborate my statements. The tennants also failed to mention that they broke a few dishes and threw away a few of my wife's mothers antiques. They left the place in shambles. There was dried food all over the floors and cabinets and soda spilled behind the couch. They have also neglected to add that the time we, "the owners", spent in their company was by their invitation for drinks. Also, we would have been in the unit less if they hadn't requested special services, i.e. that we move televisions from room to room, they wanted a TV in the King Suite instead of the first bedroom. Enough said. The following letter was my reply to to the complaint I received.
