Great cabin, loved the lake, woods, sitting on the deck. Cabin felt like home & we didn't want to leave! Beautiful interior & comfy beds. Wonderful cabin, so relaxing & when you have your family with you it doesn't get any better than that! We would come again!

This was one of our most enjoyable vacation spots! It was very cozy, very clean, and everything it was promised to be. And what a beautiful place! I would recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet place to relax. We hope to stay again someday soon!

A wonderful experience. Relaxing yet convenient. We did not expect the cabin to be decorated for Christmas, but this added such a festive touch to the holiday. It was all extraordinary and easy to navigate.

This Lake House is the perfect place for relaxation. The pictures do not totally reflect the attention to detail and the delight of this location. We loved every moment.. the comfort, the beauty of nature, the convenience to so many different wonderful " to do" activities and the joy of slowing down. The owner is available for any questions ( we did not have any but we appreciated the option). Verizon is our cell phone carrier and we had perfect reception. Every appliance worked perfectly, the beds were comfy, the towells and shower were fabulous and th design of the lake house allowed togetherness and privacy. We loved it. Thank you and we will return!!!!

My girlfriends and I wanted to get away for a while and after lots of research we found this location. It had everything that we needed and so much more. When we arrived the pontoon was gassed up and ready to go. We never left the cabin and only sat on the boat for long conversations. It rained the second day that we were there. That didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves. Only intensified the conversations and cleansed our souls. Thank you for such an amazing setting with spectacular views. It was absolutely perfect. We will be back.

A charming cabin & setting..everything we needed was here. Enjoyed discovering your knick-knacks & having great conversation about them. Very clean & welcoming...lush live plants! We took the pontoon boat out to the rock ledge & anchored for swimming. Also anchored off a jumping rock & jumped & swam. The relaxation was so worth it & so was the time spent with our sons & their wives.

The main reason we came here was to be on the lake. My husband has always wanted to just go out the back door & fish. Couldn't have asked for any better than this place! The cabin was very clean and felt like home. The boat was great too! We had a great time and we will definitely be back!! Tim was always ready to answer questions and was very prompt if we had any problems. Thank you!

Beautiful cabin, clean & decorated so nicely..comfortable beds. We all felt like a million dollars when we were here...I am going to recommend to all our friends who need to get away from the hustle & bustle of the city now & then. We loved the hills after seeing flat land all the time.

We had parts of three families here including 5 kids from 16-24 and even they enjoyed the peace & quiet. Loved the cabin...one day out on the lake we saw four otters playing around by the bank & followed them in the kayaks- neat to see. Mainly enjoyed the peace & quiet, it was truly what we all needed- just to chill out before getting back the the world.

house was beautiful as were the decks. Great place to relax. Peaceful and serene. Fishing wasn't great but it was really too hot I think for good fishing anyway. The views were great. Tim was always quick to answer any questions. Had a great family vacation and hated to leave this house. Wish it were mine, so cozy and nicely decorated. The kids loved the boat ride!! Thanks for sharing your home with us.

We had a wonderful time staying at The Great Escape cabin on Wood Creek Lake. The pictures are good but do not do the home justice. It was beautiful and cozy. We felt at home the whole time we were there. We did alot of fishing and took advantage of the rental of the pontoon boat. We had a great time. I would I would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants a relaxing, comfortable vacation. There is lots to see in town, but we just hung out at the cabin and relaxed.

It was a nice surpise to see that we could launch our boat right here; for the fisherman, that's always very convenient! We've decided that we will definitely be back. Beautiful place, perfect for us! Very clean, went ony to get bait, relaxed all weekend! Loved the torches outside across decks. Perfect deck to set up cornhole boards. Very comfortable! Very happy with the place; it's our new yearly getaway place...by far the best cabin we have ever been to, we'll be back!

Everything was wonderful! The kids fished quite a bit and ran around the property...I was able to finish a book I had been working on for a couple weeks. Loved the decor, but the deer head brought a tear to my little girl's eye.
