This is a perfect home for a large family to enjoy a mountain vacation in luxury style, but without the luxury price. Upstairs is the oversized master bedroom with a king bed and a beautiful view of Baldy from the private deck. The main level houses two large bedrooms, an oversized living room with wood burning fireplace, dining area, and a fully stocked kitchen with custom tile work and granite countertops. The lower level has just been remodeled into an oversized entertainment room, another large bedroom, private laundry room, and a warm and cozy mudroom for debooting after a long day in the Rockies.

Why the Owner Chose Blue River
The house sits on a hill, looking out the baldy mountains. It is very near (walking distance) to a national forest and hiking trails. Yet, it is only 2 1/2 miles from town. During the summer months, we can bike to town of Breck. I love that the house is close to town yet, it feels so secluded. We love waking up to the view of the mountains. We have an acre and kids love exploring the creek area. During the winter months, they can create a little slope and can sleigh down. It is so quiet with, very few cars passing by. I often sit on the deck, read, drink cup of coffee just enjoying the beautiful scenary and the peacefulness. At night, there are so many stars visible. We also love seeing wild animals too.

We are a family of 6 and have rented home for many years before purchasing this home in Breckenridge. Our family spends one week during the winter break and 1 week during Spring break for skiing.
We also enjoy our summer time there and when we are there, enjoy hiking, biking and fishing.

We as a group of 10 people had a wonderful time staying in Sunny's lodge for three nights. The house is well designed and furnished. The spacious kitchen equips with all kinds of cooking ware and beautiful utensils. We enjoyed the BBQ grill at the deck as well as the Jacuzzi. The large flat panel TV screen in the living room makes us feel at home. Its location provides fast access to several famous hiking trails and beautiful lakes. Hot springs, river rafting and gorgeous national park are all within one to two hours driving distance. We also enjoyed visiting the Breckenridge town which is very close to the lodge. This is definitely one of the best lodges in the area which I would recommend to friends. We will definitely come back.

A wonderful and perfect mountain getaway. I visited with my family and we spent 5 great days hiking, biking, and relaxing in Breckenridge. The home was beautiful, inviting and very comfortable. We will definitely be back!
